Great with dogs of all ages & sizes
Hey y'all, I grew up with dogs and had a dog of my own until recently when she passed. I've also spent time on lots of friends farms for fun, doing chores, and farm-sitting for them. I have experience with goats, pigs, cows, ducks, chickens, turkeys, dogs, and cats! This means I know how to interact with lots of different personalities including wary and hyperactive animals. I'm also not afraid of handling messy situations. :) I moved to the Triangle for a paralegal job at a non-profit that works on cleaning up coal ash across the southeast. Years ago I left that job to run a small business and farm. I love my work and living in Hillsborough, and am grateful for a fully flexible schedule! I pet, house, and farm sit a couple of times a year and would be happy to do so for you! Jenna was absolutely amazing! Luffy jumped out of the car and ran straight into her arms. He came back happy and excited after spending a weekend as well loved Farm Dog! I felt so at peace knowing he has all the walks and excitement to keep him happy until he was home again! Definitely would love to book again!
Jenna was amazing with Monti! From the minute we met Jenna at our meet and greet, I could tell that Monti felt very comfortable with her Jenna kept in touch throughout Montis stay and sent photos. Definitely recommend for all your pet care needs.
Jenna was great! She stepped in when we needed dog care last minute, and she carefully managed the needs of our younger energetic lab and our senior lab-pittie mix. She’s kind, communicated, and we’d be glad to have her dogsit again.
Jenna’s care and attention to detail was outstanding. The dogs loved her and I know everyone got the attention and care they needed. She handled problems that came up without any hesitation and managed all needs with extraordinary competence and grace. I couldn’t have asked for more and will definitely ask her to come back. Highly highly recommended!!

I work full time as a self-employed farmer, but my schedule is extremely flexible. I live in town and lease land less than ten minutes away. It is my habit to work early in the morning and later in the day, coming home for the middle portion of the day to avoid the heat. I'm easily able to tailor my schedule to your pet's needs!

My apartment is a very lucky setup. I effectively have a private entrance to my place, two fenced areas for dogs, as well as being a two minute walk from a park and public dog park with two additional fences areas. Also, I live alone but have two bedrooms, so the apartment itself is spacious.
A typical day
Usually I like to provide pets with a mixture of walking, playing, and sniff time. I like to balance a walk around town with some off-leash play time in a fenced area. We can also go on a "hike" around my vegetable farm for some prolonged outside time and adventure (so many smells!).
