About: We are a retired, married couple. Fred is a retired doctor. Berni is a retired art teacher who now works part time in an upscale decorator shop. We have owned one or two dogs at a time for 50 years from puppies to geriatric. So we know how to take care of all stages of dogs from puppy pads to dispensing medication. We recently put our wonderful 15 year old mini Labradoodle to sleep and now need a furry creature for to fill out void. As a retired couple we have lots of time to spend with your baby and meet all their needs. We will watch them over night in our home (WE WILL NOT WATCH THEM AT YOUR HOME). We will love them like your own. We will walk them, feed them per your directions, dispense their medication, and play with them if they are so inclined, We have a very comfortable home in a gated community with a fenced in back yard. We know pet CPR. One of us will always be home except if we go out for a quick dinner....2 hours max.

About: I've had dogs and cats for over 20 years, and I've had dogs of all sizes, from large to small. I'm Brazilian, and in Brazil I lived in a big house with a very large yard, so I had several dogs adopted, here in the US, I adopted Louie, a super nice Chihuahua mix who loves to play with other dogs. I have several dogs that I consider family because they are always here at home. When they leave I miss them, including some who sleep in bed with me. I am Neeraj, and my wife Manasi and I live with our 7 yr old mini Aussie Loki, and we are excited to be getting a chance to look after some more of our favorite beings on earth, a.k.a, dogs! My wife and I have been fosters for local rescues and finally adopted Loki from a local rescue. My wife has also volunteered at local shelters, and she has trained our mini Aussie as well. My brother is a veterinary gynecologist back home so pet care runs in our family! Finally, we dog sit our friends’ dogs whenever they are out of town so we are capable of handling individual needs of different dogs from food to medicines, behaviors, energy needs and other requirements for them to feel comfortable and at home. My wife and I work from home so we are available to care for pets all day. Even though my wife sometimes travels for work, my schedule is flexible which allows us to have pets in our house and/or care for them 24x7. We live in a townhome and have pet gates installed whenever safety is needed for dogs. Our mini Aussie is a bolter and used to be a leash puller (he was trained not to do so) and so we are experienced with ensuring dogs don’t run out of the house or run off during walks. Please note that at this time we can only accept dogs who get along well with other dogs as we have a dog ourselves. You can rest assured that your best friend will be treated with warmth, love and care just like a family member.

I understand that being away from your fur babies isn't always easy and I’ll do a great job at keeping in touch with you and updating you throughout the duration of their stay. I live in a 2 bedroom condo with an open floor plan in the living room/dining room area so it’s got plenty of space. I also have a patio that overlooks the dog walking area, so your dog can chill outside for a bit and people/dog watch. The property has plenty of dog-walking areas so your pet can get some exercise. I have one playful, medium-breed dog that gets along great with other dogs and I have one adult cat.
