“Excellent! She is a very nice person that cares about animals and it shows. My dog had a great time at her house. She sent me pictures and videos and I am so grateful for the way she treated our dog. Thanks!!!”

“First timer! Jay provided an excellent experience. She sent me photos throughout the entire stay and kept me updated on details; that helped calmed my nerves as a first-timer. You see how much she enjoys what she does. I would recommend Jay to any and everyone.”

“This was the longest time I've been away from my pup and Michelle did another amazing job. He always looks like he's having the best time with Milo and I appreciate all the updates and pictures they send! So happy to have found a great sitter for my boy!”

“Nothing better than knowing your pup is safe and cared for. Our first time boarding with Rover and loved getting regular photos of our boy running in a big yard or snuggling up on the couch. Highly recommended Amanda and Scott and will be rebooking for an upcoming extended vacation!”

“Eric is the best! I recently had a sitter cancel 6 hours before drop-off -- I thought my vacation was ruined! I immediately put out a Sunday morning last-minute Rover requests for a sitter, with very low expectations that anyone would even respond, much less accept. Within a few minutes, Eric responded and then accepted. He totally saved my vacation! After that, he was extremely communicative, but even better, he was perfect for my highly energetic doggo. He gave long dauly walks and play sessions. I knew that my dog would love having his Bucky as a 24/7 playmate, but I was very concerned that he has cats, since Sheba had never seen a cat before. Since she has a high prey drive, I thought there could be serious problems. Eric, however, seems to have a natural understanding of pets, and he was able to safely introduce Sheba to his cats, and apparently there were no issues. Also, Eric was highly flexible when my return flight was delayed by a day, and quickly agreed to extend the stay. I couldn't have asked for a better experience from start to finish.”

“Julie is a perfect pet sitter. She shared questions to help me explain all about my little dolly. She shared daily reports and pictures while my dolly was there. When I met her and Eric at our home visit, I felt immediately comfortable and knew she would do a terrific job taking care of my baby and she did. I'm looking forward to setting up another stay when I go away this spring.”

“Our 130-pound Great Dane didn't scare these dog lovers! Banner had a great time and, with lots of pictures while we were away, we trusted that he was in great care!”

“According to my dog, Raye is top tier when it comes to hospitality. He's already asked to return to her home that's full of love and tasty treats. Thanks again for taking care of Rocco.”

“I don't leave reviews so thos means something. Hanna did an amazing job with Skadi. Taking her for walks and playing in the yard even cuddling. It's clear she truly loves the critters. Plus she sent pix and videos and told me what she was doing all along. Greatly appreciate the extra steps. 10/10 will be back.”

“Jesse was so sweet and enthusiastic about watching Ripley on short notice over the Christmas holiday. Lots of walks, attention, and hanging with other hounds…she loved being a part of his pack. 😊”

“Susan was so welcoming and I felt very comfortable leaving my Goldendoodle son with her! She has a wonderful, large back yard that my dog enjoyed! She sent me photos everyday and let me know how he was doing. I am 100% booking Susan for my dog the next time I am out of town!”

“My pom pom loves it there, loves the attention and playtime. I literally had to drag her away and pick my pom up. I choose to just use her,if she’s available.”

“Matt was absolutely amazing and so easy to work with. This was our first time spending a weekend away from Kappy, and Matt really put us at ease with constant updates and photos.”

“Shay and Jake took fantastic care of our pug! We got regular photo and video updates, and she was happy and healthy when we came to pick her up! Shay even let me know a favorite toy Maple grew attached to while there, so I could have it waiting for her when she got home. Overall a absolutely top notch experience.”

“Stacey was the ultimate sitter and I couldn't have asked for a better first experience with Rover! She scheduled time for our dogs to meet in a public area first followed by a tour of her home and yard where Sebastian would be staying. I received photos of how much fun he was having while on my trip, and to be honest I bet he's looking forward to his next stay, what with having a four legged buddy and a wrap-around, fenced-in yard for unlimited zoomies. I can't recommend Stacey enough and will be sticking with her whenever it suits going forward.”

“Donetta was very easy to work with prior to Charlie‘s stay and during his stay. She was very prompt responding to our questions and sent us daily updates with pictures each day. We feel like Charlie enjoyed his stay and we certainly will try to use Donetta again.”

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
