She is incredibly knowledgeable about caring for dogs and managed our polar opposite pooches (1 older, more chill dog, and 1 high energy pup) with ease. We ended up referring to this time as their doggy summer camp since they seemed to be enjoying it so much. Jay recently watched my dog, Fergus, while my husband and I were out of town. I appreciated the time he took to talk to us about our Fergus before hand. He wanted to ensure he would be able to provide the best care. Which he did! He told us his plans for caretaking at drop off and gave us updates while we were gone. Our dog is nervous around strangers but Jay strived to make him feel at home.
This was the first time we used this app, and we were a little worried about leaving our small dog with someone we didn’t know. But the moment I saw Derrika’s smile in her photo, I knew she was the right person. Even before the drop-off, I was still a bit nervous, but as soon as Derika met us, all the stress disappeared. She welcomed us so warmly, with a huge smile and genuine happiness in her eyes. Taya went into the house with her without even looking back at us 😂 We’re extremely happy with the experience and highly recommend her ❤️
