About: I’ve cared for dogs, cats and hamsters for a couple of years first was my family dog, then my cat in college and roommate’s hamster I only work 2-3 days out of the week for only 2 hours and I am free weekends. Which gives me enough time to care for your pets and spend time with them. I can also care for smaller pets like fish or hamsters if needed. In my home,which is my dorm, I feed my cat twice a day and make sure his water bowl is always full and clean out his litter box at the beginning of each day. In case of a fire I grab my cat with his emergency bag and I have also helped my roommate get her hamster out during a fire drill. I always make sure to spend time playing with them as well. For clients I make sure to care for their pets as I would want anyone else to care for mine; providing the food as asked by the client and cleaning after the pet as asked which includes cleaning the litter box or going for walks and playing with the pets.

About: My number one pet care skill is dog walking. In current life I have now, my family recently adopted an eleven month lab mix puppy who I have been helping to house train and potty train her. I live near a park with a track around it, so it makes it easy to walk her. My other skill would be getting dogs to like and trust me. Ever since I was four, I have had at least two dogs, which has trained me to give dogs a lot of pettings, talk to them, and play with them. Other specialties I have are feeding, watering, bathing, brushing a dog, and training a dog basic tricks, such as sit. Overall, I have had five dogs, in my life time since I was four, including a Jack Russel, Terrier mix, Pyrenees Poodle, Feist, and a Lab mix. Parting outside of dogs, I have experience with caring for rabbits, birds and fowl (chicken, duck, geese, guinea), and a stray cat. Hi, I am a second year college student, and also have a job in fast food. Dog sitting is my side gig, which making my hours limited. I am available all day on Sundays, available after 1:30pm on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, and before 3pm on Saturdays. The number one way I will care for your pet at your home is by being attentive. I'll make sure that they are not doing anything they should not be doing. I will also ensure they have plenty of time outside for potty breaks, walks, and exercise. Furthermore I will keep an eye that they are fed properly, have plenty of water, and loved and cared for. Lastly, I'll make certain to clean whatever mess your pet may make and guarantee that your pet is happy and content.

About: I have always grown up with dogs and just recently adopted my cat Douglas shortly after moving from home. Although he provides all the love I need, I do miss all my family dogs presence! I currently work full-time, but would love to make myself available for more interaction with pets! I am available for outdoor walks and pet check-ins! I do not offer anything in my home because I'm not too sure how my cat Douglas would respond ... and he runs the house.

About: My first word was "cat" because of my attachment to our family feline, Miss Mystery. This first utterance foretold a life-long love of animals though dogs would become the norm in my household. Throughout high school, I volunteered at the local Humane Society and one of my first full-time jobs was a Dog Rescue Attendant. At twenty, I adopted my first dog (outside of family animals, of course) -- a dachshund mix named Leelu -- and she was my steadfast companion for 14 years. I now have a 3 yr. old lab-Australian Shepard mix - Gidget. Both of my girls have taught me invaluable lessons about dog care; specifically, I've learned a lot about different breed personalities and needs, puppy training and enrichment, senior dog care, and limited mobility dog care. I aspire to be the best dog mom possible and I will bring that same energy and commitment to working with your pet. I recently returned to North Carolina and I'm in the process of looking for full-time positions in my field. This process can take quite some time, but allows for a very flexible schedule. I'm available during the week from 8:00 - 7:00pm - late evenings upon special request; same goes for the weekend. I want your animal to see me as a companion -- a human they enthusiastically greet when we spend time together! Your pet will be treated with the same doting affection I lavish on my own pup. If I'm taking your dog on a walk, I'll make sure they're exercised, but also, they'll get plenty of time to interact with their surroundings and enjoy the sunshine. If I'm dropping in for a "play date," this would look like whatever your dog enjoys the most -- maybe tug-of-war, hide-and-seek, fetch, or puzzle games (every dog is different!). Regardless of the service, your pet will get lots of attention and belly rubs (if that's their thing). Ultimately, I will seek guidance from you, the owner, and follow your lead on how best to spend time with your pet!

I currently have a rescue GSD and a rescue cat so whether you have had your pet since a puppy or adopted at an older age, I assure you they will get ALL the loving. My passion is to rescue hurt, sick, or abandoned animals. I love meeting all the different personalities pets bring. I am a travel emergency nurse that finished an assignment in Highlands, NC recently. I am pretty flexible on times currently. About: I’ve taken care of pets my whole life and have had a wide variety of pets. I am comfortable taking care of senior pets puppies and ones that require special needs. I have a flexible lifestyle and flexible scheduling and can provide the needed time to care for your pet and will provide updates on a consistent basis. I have a large yard and will keep pets on leash if required but I am located in a rural area a good distance from any major road.

About: I've raised and cared for dogs and cats my entire life! I'm familiar with them at all stages, ages, and sizes with basic or special needs (medication, extra snuggles, house rules, etc.). I'm also skilled with caring and training pups! My current dog, Duck, was raised and trained using Zac George's inside-out training which enforces positive behavior and builds a strong relationship with your pup. Duck has also experienced some long-term healthcare needs and emergencies, all of which were handled with absolute care, precision, and peace to cause less stress on him. I'm familiar with medication regimens and adapting to an animal's needs. As for cats, I have two of my own that I love dearly! I'm here to provide any care they need as well including snuggles, treats, and playtime. **NOTE OF AVAILABILITY** I'm available all day Sunday-Tuesday for pet care. On Wednesday and Thursdays, I'm unavailable 12:15 - 6:15 due to work, and again I'm unavailable on Fridays 11:15 - 5:15 due to work. I can check in on your pets or walk them anytime before or after! As the owner of a rambunctious pup, I understand the value of rules! If visiting or staying in your home, I'll obey all house rules for myself and your pet. I clean up after myself and your pup as well as crate them, treat them, or whatever else they need.

About: While I am new to Rover, I am not new to pet care! My family has raised boxer puppies for 20+ years and small breeds for 10+. So I have worked with all sizes and ages, from bottle feeding newborn puppies to taking care of elderly dogs and I love every minute of it! I have 4 dogs, 4 rabbits, 2 sugar gliders a cat, and a duck, and all 12 of them are very spoiled furbabies! So if you have any “exotic” animals that need to be checked on while I’m around that won’t be a problem! I spend every minute I have with my furbabies and look forward to being able to spoil yours as well! While your dog is in my care I will love them like my own. I love being outdoors so hiking and dog parks are part of my daily routine. I can’t wait to meet your furbabies!

About: I’ve taken care of pets of all shapes and sizes as well as house sat for 4 years. I also own a big dog and have owned medium dogs and cats when I was younger. I’m currently working from home so I’m available most days, anytime, except Sunday mornings. I am comfortable house/dog sitting on holidays and extended periods of time as well. I’m more comfortable with watching pets in their own space so they are comfortable too. Pets need lots of exercise, play, and attention. I like to stick to the pets schedule so they have an easier time while their family is away! It’s also important to me that they aren’t alone long. Company, care and companionship are essential!
