About: Thanks for clicking! Let me tell you about myself. I love meeting new pets! I’ve worked with puppies, cats, and dogs of all sizes. I’m comfortable with reactive dogs and senior dogs as well. It’s so important to me to learn their individual needs to make their experiences with me as comfortable and safe as possible until their people come home! Please keep me aware of any medications, vitamins, or special attention that your fur baby may need while you’re away. I love living in a quiet country home because of the peace it gives to dogs while on their stay with me. Give your pet the chance to relax on my fenced in porch and enjoy watching the world go by! As a business owner, my schedule is very flexible. Because I’m self employed, I have more time for my dog at home (and yours, too!). I have one small dog at home to keep your pet company! I have a small and a large crate available if you prefer for your pet to be crated. I have a large front and back yard for your pet to explore while leashed.

About: I have found that dogs prefer to be in their own envirement when their owner's are away, so most of my jobs are from repeat clients and referrals for in home stays. Your pet stays in their own environment which is less stressful. As requested by you, we go on walks, mini hikes, car rides, sleep in bed with them, just lounge and watch TV, administer special diets or medicines, drop off at another relative, etc. I am flexible. Your house stays safe with someone home, mail and newspapers picked up, etc. One client always has contractors over for their large remodel. I first became a dog sitter for my 2 grandpups, Cavalier King Charles Spaniels a boy and a girl. My daughter may be the most demaning, pickiest, list of rules person in the world. Her dogs are her children and I know yours are too. So please if you feel bad about leaving them, if you have a weird request I will understand. Since I am semi-retired I have more flexibility as well. I have had dogs who needed me to sit on the floor with them while they eat, want to sleep in same bed as me, constantly want to sit on my lap or next to me. I understand the power of treats, their special toys and love! It's stressful when the owners are away, but I am here to fill that void. Rest assured, I can send you updates as needed. Whether it's a daily overview from the visits on email, quick text and/or picture from the visit, quick phone call, just let me know. About: I have three dogs of my own, they are 10/9/9 years old. They were all rescued at a few weeks old and needed consistent care for a few months til the shelter cleared them for adoption. My cat is 17 years old and has traveled around the country on my shoulder. My pets have many acres to roam and run, so little walks are needed. I am a SAHM with flexibility in walking times, possibly last minute if you are close enough. I am trying to get out and walk more, I might as well take your cute puppy with me. I know the importance of following pet owner instructions and guidelines and I do not stray. I am hoping to become a regular figure to establish comfort for your pets.

About: I have been boarding and dog walking for the past 5-years, mostly for neighbors back home when I lived in Maryland. We just moved into Gowensville | Landrum | Travelers Rest area -and we are very remote on 6 acres on Glassy mountain. We are joining Rover, hoping to help us make new furry friends. Our clients had deep trust in us, and we never let anyone down. Each client became a consistent client, mainly because their dogs would get so excited to see us or come to our home. We had one client that used to text and ask if Penny could come to the spa! We work hard to understand your pup, their regular schedule and favorite things to do, so we can maintain as much consistency as possible for our new furry friend. My husband is an excellent trainer, he has taught many of our client's pups to walk nicely on a leash, to heal, whoa, lets go, and ready up! My husband used to show train and show our great pyrenees for many many years. We both regularly get down on the ground and have play time with our boarders. I love taking pics of the pups and sending them off to their parents, so they have visual peace of mind seeing how happy their furry family member is doing. We will provide a short report via text each day. When dogs come to stay, we keep them on what is their normal schedule. Each day has 2 play times, a nice 30 min walk, 1-1 attention in their bed room prior to bed filled with lots of love (I love giving head rubs and reading stories). We will feed | Medicines | Relief time as per your instruction. We are at our best with friendly, non aggressive dogs. For dog walking, I will go to your home or office pick-up your dog, then head out. I can walk your pup, and | or have play time with your pet in your yard. If your friend needs lots of exercise I am very happy to take your pup on a hike of the distance of your choice for a longer visit. We are active, but retired. We have lots of flexibility. Boarding can happen any day/night you can drop off and pick-up at a time that works for you. The more notice you provide, the better I can plan around your pup's needs. I generally hike 4-6 miles 4 days a week. So if your friend wants to join me they are welcome to...weather dependent. Our home is pet friendly, with lots of space and the opportunity to keep fury friends separate when needed. Each boarded dog will have their own bedroom, where they will also be fed privately (don't forget to bring your pup's food (provide feeding schedule), feed bowls, medicine (include directions), any toys, and feel free to bring their favorite bed). The dogs are also allowed on the bed in their room. We have a large basement gym area where we create play time when the weather isn't cooperating.

About: I am a mom to 2 humans and 2 dogs. ❤️ I have grown up around dogs my entire life and have attended vet tech school and was also a mobile dog groomer! I am reliable, hard working and will take great care of your fur babies. 😊 Family, neighbors and friends have relied on me to check in on their dogs multiple times and to take them for a nice walk! I am currently working full time, but I am available Friday - Sundays! Also available weekday mornings from 6AM - 7AM. Thank you for trusting me! I will gladly find the safest routes near your house to walk your dog (far away from busy roads), or whatever route you prefer! For stop ins, I will gladly feed/water/play and crate your dog if needed. 😊

About: I have lived with and been around dogs my whole life. I have experience in dog sitting and dog walking, and I am always up for helping people and especially their furry friends! I also have had four cats who were very opposite from being cuddly to being a bit aggressive. However I still love those fuzzballs deeply. Finally I had three parakeets who were very loud but so fun to have around. I am currently in Taylor’s South Carolina. I am 18 years old and currently do not have a job so I am extremely flexible with my schedule. I can really do any day of the week. I like make sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owner is away. I follow all routines closely, including feeding schedules, walks, medications, and any special instructions. I also give pets lots of attention, playtime, and affection so they feel relaxed and happy. If I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, I’m respectful of their space and always keep things clean and organized. Lastly, of course have fun with the pet and give them lots of love.

About: I have been housesitting/dog sitting for about 5 years now, and I LOVE it! I love to show the dogs I’m watching special attention and spoil them ever so slightly. When I’m housesitting while dog sitting, that’s a bonus! Not only do I spoil the dog, but also the dog owners. I enjoy making sure the home is nice and tidy before the homeowners come home. I grew up having a dog, so remembering to let them out and feed them is practically second nature for me! If your dog has a special diet or feeding time, no problem! I take care of the pet as if I’m their owner, showing special care and love while you are away. If needed, I do have a fenced in back yard at my home to take the dog to play around. Even though the dog is not mine, I always make sure they feel safe and loved while you’re gone.

About: Hey there! I’m Katelyn. Thank you for considering me to take care of your furry companion(s). I may be newer to Rover, but am certainly not new to caring for and working with pets. In fact, I began pet sitting as a young teen for neighbors. I have ample experience caring for and loving on: dogs, cats, horses, goats, chickens, birds, rodents, turtles and rabbits. This includes pups and kitties of all sizes, temperaments, ages and health statuses. I am Fear Free certified through my continued volunteer work with a local humane society. Fear Free is a nationwide initiative across the animal welfare community that offers online educational courses on handling fear, anxiety, and stress in dogs and cats through evidence based strategies. My time at the humane society consists of but not limited to: walking dogs, providing enrichment opportunities for the animals, assisting the staff with adoptions, and staying behind the scenes to tend to the back of the house tasks that keep the facility up and running. My approach is to treat each animal as an individual and get to know each other according to their unique personality and preferences. Positive reinforcement and enrichment opportunities are my jam! My experience ranges from dog walking to extended period pet sitting to fostering both dogs and cats to assisting behavior teams at animal shelters/rescues. About: I have experience caring for senior dogs, puppies, dogs with behavioral issues including aggression and fear. I am well versed in animal behavior and animal care. I have experience giving medication and other medical care. I am currently unemployed, and spend most of my day caring for my own pets and taking my siblings to and from school. I enjoy caring for my animals. I am very adaptable and can walk dogs, crate them, cuddle them, take them in and out to potty. I can do long and short walks, as well as short runs. I am comfortable feeding cats and dogs as well as administering medicine. Since moving to South Carolina two years ago, I have rescued almost 14 dogs. I find their owners, or find them a new home. About: I have had dogs my entire life. They truly are family. I take care of many different dogs and have for has long as I can remember. I have 2 dogs currently. A 2 year old German shepherd & a 10 year old black lab. They get along with everyone and never met a stranger. I have a big fenced in back yard that they run and play in. I’m also available for walks, daycare, and house/pet sitting. If you have any questions don’t hesitate to ask! This is my full-time job now I am home most days and nights my dogs free room while I am not here, but I never leave them more than a couple hours I live near Paris mountain.
