About: I have been the neighborhood pet sitter for years. Neighbors trusted me with their senior dogs of 11 and 14, their dogs that had unending energy, puppies of around 1 or so, and cats and even fish too. I love going to the Greenville humane society and walking dogs of all kinds that have no home, and I have also worked on a couple farms taking care of dogs and cats and other farm animals as well. I am a hard worker and eager to take on new jobs. I work part time and am also involved in sports but I am flexible and willing to work with clients on times I can care for their pets as they need. Usually a family member will drop in to feed our cats but I really wanted someone who could stay there and maintain the cats routine. About: I’ve always loved cats and currently have two rescued cats of my own. I found both of them as young kittens outdoors, adopted them, and have raised and cared for them ever since. Caring for them has given me experience with feeding, litter box maintenance, playtime, grooming, and understanding different feline personalities. About: Hello! I’m a long time pet lover and house sitter (of my own place) I have interacted with many pets of my friends and worked at animal shelters. My experience with pets starts in high school when I volunteered at the local animal shelter cleaning out kennels, grooming and playing with cats and dogs. I then graduated to being a pet auntie for my friends animals and then pet sitting for various clients. I love pets, they are adorable and I can’t wait until I can have my own! “Shana was very accomodating, taking a last minute request for dog sitting after our normal sitter cancelled. We are yearly sponsors of the Scottish Games at Furman, which is an all day event from 8:30 to 7:30, the Saturday before Memorial Day. I sent requests to four sitters on Rover that morning that were close to our house in Taylors. Two responded they were booked, even though their profiles confirmed availability, and two never responded. It then occurred to me that it would be easier to find a sitter closer to Furman for faster p/u after the event. I messaged Shana at 8:28 am and at 8:30 she replied “Hi there! You can drop him off now if you like.“ Her responsiveness was incredible, and greatly appreciated. Her tiny home community was so cute and inviting, and her location made for a quick and easy drop off and pick up. Our Dachshund, Bandit, obviously found her home (and her lap) very comfortable, as we received several photos of him relaxing on her lap in front of the wood burning stove. He seemed to get along well with her Lhasa Apso, Wally, who was about the same size as Bandit, as we received several photos of them taking walks and napping together on the sofa. I can say without a doubt that we will hire Shana every year for the Scottish Games at Furman, if she is still dog sitting and available (fingers crossed!).”

About: I have lived with and been around dogs my whole life. I have experience in dog sitting and dog walking, and I am always up for helping people and especially their furry friends! I also have had four cats who were very opposite from being cuddly to being a bit aggressive. However I still love those fuzzballs deeply. Finally I had three parakeets who were very loud but so fun to have around. I am currently in Taylor’s South Carolina. I am 18 years old and currently do not have a job so I am extremely flexible with my schedule. I can really do any day of the week. I like make sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owner is away. I follow all routines closely, including feeding schedules, walks, medications, and any special instructions. I also give pets lots of attention, playtime, and affection so they feel relaxed and happy. If I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, I’m respectful of their space and always keep things clean and organized. Lastly, of course have fun with the pet and give them lots of love.
About: I have found that dogs prefer to be in their own envirement when their owner's are away, so most of my jobs are from repeat clients and referrals for in home stays. Your pet stays in their own environment which is less stressful. As requested by you, we go on walks, mini hikes, car rides, sleep in bed with them, just lounge and watch TV, administer special diets or medicines, drop off at another relative, etc. I am flexible. Your house stays safe with someone home, mail and newspapers picked up, etc. One client always has contractors over for their large remodel. I first became a dog sitter for my 2 grandpups, Cavalier King Charles Spaniels a boy and a girl. My daughter may be the most demaning, pickiest, list of rules person in the world. Her dogs are her children and I know yours are too. So please if you feel bad about leaving them, if you have a weird request I will understand. Since I am semi-retired I have more flexibility as well. I have had dogs who needed me to sit on the floor with them while they eat, want to sleep in same bed as me, constantly want to sit on my lap or next to me. I then graduated to being a pet auntie for my friends animals and then pet sitting for various clients. I love pets, they are adorable and I can’t wait until I can have my own! Until then, I guess I’ll just pet sit…. I work from home on most days, so my schedule is flexible enough to allow me to look after pets such as spending quality time, potty breaks, exercising via walks and playing with cat toys. When I care for pets in their home, I take care to read all of the instructions and look after the home. This can include administering medications, accommodating different diets and walking styles (such as the slow walkers, the sniffers, the neighborhood watchers). I make sure to leave the home the way I found it because that is what I would like if I was the pet parent.

About: I have been boarding and dog walking for the past 5-years, mostly for neighbors back home when I lived in Maryland. We just moved into Gowensville | Landrum | Travelers Rest area -and we are very remote on 6 acres on Glassy mountain. We are joining Rover, hoping to help us make new furry friends. Our clients had deep trust in us, and we never let anyone down. Each client became a consistent client, mainly because their dogs would get so excited to see us or come to our home. We had one client that used to text and ask if Penny could come to the spa! We work hard to understand your pup, their regular schedule and favorite things to do, so we can maintain as much consistency as possible for our new furry friend. My husband is an excellent trainer, he has taught many of our client's pups to walk nicely on a leash, to heal, whoa, lets go, and ready up! My husband used to show train and show our great pyrenees for many many years. We both regularly get down on the ground and have play time with our boarders. I love taking pics of the pups and sending them off to their parents, so they have visual peace of mind seeing how happy their furry family member is doing. We will provide a short report via text each day. When dogs come to stay, we keep them on what is their normal schedule. Each day has 2 play times, a nice 30 min walk, 1-1 attention in their bed room prior to bed filled with lots of love (I love giving head rubs and reading stories). We will feed | Medicines | Relief time as per your instruction. We are at our best with friendly, non aggressive dogs. For dog walking, I will go to your home or office pick-up your dog, then head out. I can walk your pup, and | or have play time with your pet in your yard. If your friend needs lots of exercise I am very happy to take your pup on a hike of the distance of your choice for a longer visit. We are active, but retired. We have lots of flexibility. Boarding can happen any day/night you can drop off and pick-up at a time that works for you. The more notice you provide, the better I can plan around your pup's needs. I generally hike 4-6 miles 4 days a week. So if your friend wants to join me they are welcome to...weather dependent. Our home is pet friendly, with lots of space and the opportunity to keep fury friends separate when needed. Each boarded dog will have their own bedroom, where they will also be fed privately (don't forget to bring your pup's food (provide feeding schedule), feed bowls, medicine (include directions), any toys, and feel free to bring their favorite bed). The dogs are also allowed on the bed in their room. We have a large basement gym area where we create play time when the weather isn't cooperating.

I know that most owners feel the same way as i do about their dogs/cats when they have to leave them in others hands. About: I’ve always been a big animal person. I grew up riding horses competitively for 20 years. This opened the door for me to gain experience farm and pet sitting beginning in high school. I currently have two rescues, a husky mix and a German Shepard, so taking care of bigger dogs is not a problem. We are a very active family and enjoy taking the pups out for hikes and daily walks. We have an acre of land for your dogs to enjoy and live on a quiet road. My dogs are cat friendly and the cat is dog friendly. I’m currently enjoying the stay-at-home wife life and am available through out the week to do drop-ins and walks. I am not doing boarding right now as I am raising duckling and chicks in my home. I have two large dogs and a cat. They enjoy the company of other pets they can play or hang out with. Usually my GSD takes an hour or so to get used to a new dog in the house but after the initial meeting, she loves to share her toys and play. My husky mix is very mellow and knows no strangers. When providing services in a clients home, I aim to leave their home as clean or cleaner than I found it. I make sure their pets are happy and safe before I leave.
