About: I have had many different pets all my life. Had show horses, cats, chickens, dogs and a rabbit. I enjoy hiking with our dogs, going. For walks in our neighborhood and public parks! I'm currently working full time, but would have time in the morning before work and in the evening after work, to care for your fur baby. Im very selective of animals I take in, they have their own space and a big fenced in yard to play! “Kerstin was wonderful!! She stayed in our home for a week with our 5 cats and was better than I even expected! This was my first time using Rover and meeting Kerstin. Usually a family member will drop in to feed our cats but I really wanted someone who could stay there and maintain the cats routine. I picked Kerstin because of her great reviews and she really lived up to those reviews! She got to know each cat and sent pics and updates of what the cats did everyday which I loved! While we were gone we felt comfortable and grateful to have Kerstin there looking after things. When we got home the house was clean and sanitized, she brought in the mail, the bed was made with clean sheets and she even ironed pillowcases along with some other special touches and gifts for our kids. About: I have grown up with animals in my house ever since I was born! I've always had a strong love and care for animals. I currently am learning more about puppies with two of my own and have experience with senior care dogs! I'm currently a part-time student and have a part-time job at a retail store. I'm always done with work or school by 1:30 p.m. making sure to have plenty of time for your furry friends! I'm also off on weekends and would be available to house sit. Each dog is different and has special request. For my dogs we have a fenced in yard and a shared crate. However, they tend to use the backyard only for playing and walks are for the restroom! I would ask the owner what is best for their animal and cater to those requests.

About: I have been boarding and dog walking for the past 5-years, mostly for neighbors back home when I lived in Maryland. We just moved into Gowensville | Landrum | Travelers Rest area -and we are very remote on 6 acres on Glassy mountain. We are joining Rover, hoping to help us make new furry friends. Our clients had deep trust in us, and we never let anyone down. Each client became a consistent client, mainly because their dogs would get so excited to see us or come to our home. We had one client that used to text and ask if Penny could come to the spa! We work hard to understand your pup, their regular schedule and favorite things to do, so we can maintain as much consistency as possible for our new furry friend. My husband is an excellent trainer, he has taught many of our client's pups to walk nicely on a leash, to heal, whoa, lets go, and ready up! My husband used to show train and show our great pyrenees for many many years. We both regularly get down on the ground and have play time with our boarders. I love taking pics of the pups and sending them off to their parents, so they have visual peace of mind seeing how happy their furry family member is doing. We will provide a short report via text each day. When dogs come to stay, we keep them on what is their normal schedule. Each day has 2 play times, a nice 30 min walk, 1-1 attention in their bed room prior to bed filled with lots of love (I love giving head rubs and reading stories). We will feed | Medicines | Relief time as per your instruction. We are at our best with friendly, non aggressive dogs. For dog walking, I will go to your home or office pick-up your dog, then head out. I can walk your pup, and | or have play time with your pet in your yard. If your friend needs lots of exercise I am very happy to take your pup on a hike of the distance of your choice for a longer visit. We are active, but retired. We have lots of flexibility. Boarding can happen any day/night you can drop off and pick-up at a time that works for you. The more notice you provide, the better I can plan around your pup's needs. I generally hike 4-6 miles 4 days a week. So if your friend wants to join me they are welcome to...weather dependent. Our home is pet friendly, with lots of space and the opportunity to keep fury friends separate when needed. Each boarded dog will have their own bedroom, where they will also be fed privately (don't forget to bring your pup's food (provide feeding schedule), feed bowls, medicine (include directions), any toys, and feel free to bring their favorite bed). The dogs are also allowed on the bed in their room. We have a large basement gym area where we create play time when the weather isn't cooperating.

“Shana was very accomodating, taking a last minute request for dog sitting after our normal sitter cancelled. We are yearly sponsors of the Scottish Games at Furman, which is an all day event from 8:30 to 7:30, the Saturday before Memorial Day. I sent requests to four sitters on Rover that morning that were close to our house in Taylors. Two responded they were booked, even though their profiles confirmed availability, and two never responded. It then occurred to me that it would be easier to find a sitter closer to Furman for faster p/u after the event. I messaged Shana at 8:28 am and at 8:30 she replied “Hi there! You can drop him off now if you like.“ Her responsiveness was incredible, and greatly appreciated. Her tiny home community was so cute and inviting, and her location made for a quick and easy drop off and pick up. Our Dachshund, Bandit, obviously found her home (and her lap) very comfortable, as we received several photos of him relaxing on her lap in front of the wood burning stove. He seemed to get along well with her Lhasa Apso, Wally, who was about the same size as Bandit, as we received several photos of them taking walks and napping together on the sofa. I can say without a doubt that we will hire Shana every year for the Scottish Games at Furman, if she is still dog sitting and available (fingers crossed!).”

About: I have found that dogs prefer to be in their own envirement when their owner's are away, so most of my jobs are from repeat clients and referrals for in home stays. Your pet stays in their own environment which is less stressful. As requested by you, we go on walks, mini hikes, car rides, sleep in bed with them, just lounge and watch TV, administer special diets or medicines, drop off at another relative, etc. I am flexible. Your house stays safe with someone home, mail and newspapers picked up, etc. One client always has contractors over for their large remodel. I first became a dog sitter for my 2 grandpups, Cavalier King Charles Spaniels a boy and a girl. My daughter may be the most demaning, pickiest, list of rules person in the world. Her dogs are her children and I know yours are too. So please if you feel bad about leaving them, if you have a weird request I will understand. Since I am semi-retired I have more flexibility as well. I have had dogs who needed me to sit on the floor with them while they eat, want to sleep in same bed as me, constantly want to sit on my lap or next to me. I understand the power of treats, their special toys and love! It's stressful when the owners are away, but I am here to fill that void. Rest assured, I can send you updates as needed. Whether it's a daily overview from the visits on email, quick text and/or picture from the visit, quick phone call, just let me know. About: I have three dogs of my own, they are 10/9/9 years old. They were all rescued at a few weeks old and needed consistent care for a few months til the shelter cleared them for adoption. My cat is 17 years old and has traveled around the country on my shoulder. My pets have many acres to roam and run, so little walks are needed. I am a SAHM with flexibility in walking times, possibly last minute if you are close enough. I am trying to get out and walk more, I might as well take your cute puppy with me. About: I have lived with and been around dogs my whole life. I have experience in dog sitting and dog walking, and I am always up for helping people and especially their furry friends! I also have had four cats who were very opposite from being cuddly to being a bit aggressive. However I still love those fuzzballs deeply. Finally I had three parakeets who were very loud but so fun to have around. I am currently in Taylor’s South Carolina. I am 18 years old and currently do not have a job so I am extremely flexible with my schedule. I can really do any day of the week. I like make sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owner is away. I follow all routines closely, including feeding schedules, walks, medications, and any special instructions. I also give pets lots of attention, playtime, and affection so they feel relaxed and happy. About: I have been housesitting/dog sitting for about 5 years now, and I LOVE it! I love to show the dogs I’m watching special attention and spoil them ever so slightly. About: I have had many different pets all my life. Had show horses, cats, chickens, dogs and a rabbit. I enjoy hiking with our dogs, going. For walks in our neighborhood and public parks! I'm currently working full time, but would have time in the morning before work and in the evening after work, to care for your fur baby. Im very selective of animals I take in, they have their own space and a big fenced in yard to play! About: I have owned dogs and cats since I was a 14 and I have worked professionally with dogs in caring for them for 3 years. It’s my life practically. I have two dogs and 3 cats of my own. I let my dogs in the morning before getting ready for the day. I let them out before anytime I leave the house and when I get back. I walk them every couple of hours when I am home during the day. My cats get there water and litter changed daily. All animals will be kept separate. They would be leash walked for all potty breaks. They would be feed separately to limit the chance of any unwanted interaction.
