“Kimberly was great with Peaches. She obviously has experience with dogs and obviously loves dogs. She was great to come to our home the day before our first booking for a "meet and greet" to find out where we live, to meet Peaches and to make arrangements for access for the next day. We learned that she lives right around the corner and often bike rides in our neighborhood. That made us feel very comfortable to allow her access to our home, and to put Peaches in her care. She showed up, on time, walked and played with Peaches twice the day of the booking as we had arranged. We were pleased and would definitely use her again.”

I have owned pets my whole life, I know how much they mean to our families and your boundaries and their health matter most to me. Happiness is everyone cared for and safe. I have a completely flexible schedule and I’ll be solely focused on Rover this summer and growing this business. I love to be outdoors and am an organized individual. My pet passed in February due to old age and so we have a full setup just waiting to accommodate a pup in need of a stay. We have animal beds, toys, A yard (not fenced in) with a chain run and lots of neighborhood to walk in! We also have a disabled person in the home with so much love to give to animals with a need for more affection and who can ensure someone is with your furry friend if we need to run an errand. We love a dog park or beach run if that’s what your pup is into, and our car is well equipped with baggies and h2o bowls to make sure any trip is safe and fun.

About: I'm a lifelong dog owner and have enjoyed the experience of teaching my daughters the joys and responsibilities of caring for our dogs. As lead parent, I've been passionate about opting for daily outdoor adventures with my daughters and dogs and have often heard, "Boy, you have your hands full!", to which I have always replied, "I need to keep everybody happy somehow." Romps on the beach or marsh, trail running, and biking or rollerblading the Eastern Trail are just a few of our favorites. Over the past few years, we've said goodbye to our beloved Boss and Kona. We're still craving dog energy around our home and outdoor adventures, and want to assist other families in the Scarborough community to achieve "a tired dog, a happy dog" experience that we've known and love. We feel blessed to have a doggy daycare buddy, Finnegan, with us most weekdays and he is dog friendly. I work from home while my daughters are in school and am off with them during the summer months. We are available to care for your dog throughout the day and evening, and love boarding dogs for overnights. Summer hours are very flexible for walks. During the school year we can walk your dog weekdays after 3:30PM; or as scheduled outside of those hours upon request. My Mondays and Fridays tend to be light on my primary work and I carve out time for doggy adventures and exercise. We can accommodate based on your needs and recommendations specific for your dog(s). About: Hi there! We’re Amanda and Austen, a couple based in Scarborough with a dog of our own (our Mini Aussie, Mazie) and a lot of love to share with yours. When Amanda’s not caring for her sweet group of five-year-olds or Austen’s not out playing tennis, we’re spending time with Mazie, chasing seagulls at the beach, hiking in the mountains, or snuggling up on the couch after a snowy play session. Austen works from home full-time, so your pup will get plenty of attention throughout the day, and we share responsibilities depending on the care your pet needs. Whether it’s a weekend adventure, daily daycare, or a cozy overnight stay, we’re here to make your dog feel happy, safe, and loved. We offer care throughout the week and are happy to accommodate weekends, holidays, and special requests as our schedule allows. Austen works from home and provides consistent weekday care and supervision, while Amanda handles most weekend walks, drop-ins, and house sitting when needed. Between the two of us, your pet will never go long without company, playtime, or a potty break. Whether it’s a weekend getaway or a last-minute trip, we’ll work with you to make sure your pup is happy and cared for. We know how important it is to trust someone with your pet. That’s why we always begin with a meet-and-greet to ensure your dog is comfortable with us, and you’re confident in the care we provide. We take a gentle, respectful approach, especially with shy or anxious dogs, and we’ll always ask for your guidance on what makes your pup feel safe and secure. Whether we’re in your home or ours, we want to provide a low-stress, enriching environment with plenty of attention, structure, and love. We’re also happy to provide regular updates (with photos!) and check-ins during every visit or stay, so you’re always in the loop - because we’d want the same from someone watching Mazie.
