About: I’ve dog sat several families dogs while they go away on vacation since I was in high school. I have a dog of my own that I’ve trained since she was a puppy! I currently work for Villanova athletics and just moved to the area. My mornings are free until I have to go into the office so why not spend it with dogs! I also previously worked at a pet hospital, where I helped care for animals and became comfortable handling pets with different personalities, needs, and comfort levels. About: I have been a dog lover my whole life and view them as part of our family. For my entire life, I've had at least one dog in my home and truly could not imagine it any other way. You can be confident that when your dog is with us they will be cared for compassionately and given lots of love and attention. We truly feel our home is the dream destination for your dog - we have a big fenced in yard for them to safely play and sunbathe. We work from home so can give lots of attention and care throughout the day. We also have two dogs in our family that are the most laid back and relaxed dogs I've ever met. If your dog likes to play, they will play and if your dog likes to relax and sleep or doesn't want much interaction, they go off into their own areas to sleep. I work from home so have the ability to be present with your dogs throughout the day to make sure they are given attention and affection they need! We can easily go outside (we have a fenced in yard) for potty breaks and play at multiple points throughout the day and in the evenings we are home and enjoy being outside. We want your dog to feel at home with us! We have a fenced in yard so they can safely play outside and get exercise as needed. Our two dogs get along with all other dogs they've met - they will play sporadically throughout the day but love to lay in the sun, look out the windows and front door and be close to us while we work from home. We're confident that your dog will feel right at home with us.

Another great experience with Mackenzie just a few weeks after our first! Her updates are kind and funny…it’s clear she’s sharp as a tack and really cares for animals. Once again went the extra mile by doing the dishes and picking up a decoration outside our home that had blown over. We’ll definitely use her again!
Grace was absolutely wonderful with our two cats while we were away! Her communication was thorough and prompt, and she went above and beyond to help with other things that came up around the house. What really stood out was how much quality time she spent with our cats and how genuinely she got to know their individual personalities. Rachel took excellent care of our two kitties while we went on a weeklong trip to California - she was fantastic! The communication was instant and she shared photo updates daily. She even went above and beyond pet sitting to notify us when the power in our downstairs room went out, watered our plants etc. This was our first time being away after we moved to a new house, so we were worried about how they would handle it. But when we got back, the boys seemed happy and weren’t anxious at all. Our shy kitty was even beginning to warm up to her, which speaks volumes - it usually takes him months to be comfortable around new people. He also gets angsty when we are gone for more than a couple days and spite pees after we return, however this time we had no accidents! Apart from that, she’s truly wonderful and a kind person. We’ll 100% be rebooking with her for future trips!

sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
