“Delaney was very responsive in communicating with me. She answered my texts right away. She was also very caring and kind to my dog. He spent the night and all went well. I highly recommend boarding your dog with her!”

“Maggie was awesome taking care of our two fur babies for a multiple week stay. She sent us pictures and updates to let us know how they were doing. Our dogs seemed very comfortable and relaxed with her and getting the care and attention they need. We had a very positive experience and would definitely recommend her and book with her again.”

“Alex was great! Very friendly and quick to reply. He was flexible with our travels, as well. Phife was excited to see him when we dropped him off, and seemed pretty worn after his stay - always good signs! We would definitely use him again.”

“Kimberly was incredible with my dogs. One is terrified of fireworks so we were hesitant to leave her over the Fourth of July. Kimberly got her cozy with a sound machine and lots of love. My other dog is a paralyzed high maintenance gal and Kimberly didn’t shy away from learning her routine at all. I can’t tell you what a relief it is to leave your babies and not be worried about them the whole time. And she sent lots of sweet photos! Thank you!”

“We were delighted that Elise could care for our pets for 3 weeks (!). It was the longest they have spent with a Rover. They were clearly well cared for and happy to be there. We will be using Elise again next month, which is the highest praise I can give 😊.”

“Della and her daughter were incredible. So kind and really seemed to care about Willow (my pup). I will be using them ANY time in in the Boulder area.”

“She was the best! She sent many pictures and updates while I was away for a little more than a week. He stayed in a spare room and was shy at first but became friendly with her quick. I will definitely rebook with her in the future!”

About: I recently lost my cavalier king charles spaniel and am looking to have some doggies around again. I grew up with many pets in our family! Dogs, bunnies, birds, guinea pigs, and reptiles. I am a dog lover through and through and frequently watch friends and family’s dogs. I do have experience caring for senior dogs! I prefer smaller pups but will accept medium too. I currently work from home so I’m available to take care of your pup around the clock. I do many walks and would love the company of a doggo! I have a completely fenced in yard and a very safe and walkable neighborhood. I have a toddler at home so they must be kid friendly.
“This was Wrigley's 2nd stay with Rachel and Maggie. Rachel is easy to communicate with and sent daily updates and pictures which provided peace of mind that my pup was thoroughly enjoying his visit. I will not hesitate to book future visits!”

“Meghan and Hakon are amazing and loved on our pups so much! It was Kinzie’s first stay away and they made her feel so at ease and comfortable in their home. Lincoln is a pro and had a blast. We got plenty of updates and photos and knew our dogs were in great hands. Lincoln and Kinzie look forward to their next stay!”

“We call Lisa’s place camp. Scrappy had a great time! He was clearly loved by both the people and the pets there! He had multiple beautiful outings each day, his choice of sleeping arrangements and plenty of love! Plus tons of photos! He usually won’t eat when he separated from us, but he ate there, we were afraid he wouldn’t wanna come home.”

“This is our second time using Margaret and she was great with our dog Woody both times. Took him to the nearby dog park and sent pictures and vids during his stay with her. We’ll definitely have Woody stay with her again!”

“Maddy is an excellent dog sitter. She provided detailed updates with thoughtful photos every day, and was very responsive in her communication. You can tell that she truly cares about animals and their wellbeing. Our dog had a great time staying with her, and we were so relieved that our dog was in safe hands. We highly recommend Maddy for pet care!”

“Aubrey is amazing and very helpful. Fen is very enthusiastic to be around her and her pets. She has a fenced yard and plenty of room for dogs to run around and play. She was able to pick Fen up and drop him off. I am also rebooking her over Christmas!”
“Lynn & John are amazing! I have never left my dog with a sitter, and they made it so easy, because of how kind they were with my dog and myself. My dog had a great time with them!”

About: I cared for a senior dog for two years with cancer, administering daily medication and making her comfortable. Currently, I have my own 1 year old German shepherd, working on training and getting lots of exercise. Lastly, I grew up with cats, so comfortable with both animals. I work from home, so I have a flexible schedule, changing from week to week. Usually very open in afternoons. Free on Saturdays and Sundays. I treat every pet like they are my own! I want the best for my animals and want the same for all. They will be in great hands with me.

“Jacqueline was amazing - agreed to care for Auggie at the last minute, so kind and communicative, so loving toward Auggie, and has a great space/yard to host doggies! So grateful, thanks Jacqueline!”

“Susan was great! Zidi was happy and comfortable and had doggie friends to play with. He had lots of room to play or nap. Susan sent lots of photos and kept us posted throughout our vacation.”

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, daily exercise may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Hidden Lake home-away-from-home, packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Hidden Lake.
<b>Tip:</b> You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your Hidden Lake sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the , which provides up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in CO ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
