Chris met with us and our pup a couple times very close to the date of the trip a to make sure our dog was comfortable in the new environment with new person. Once it seemed like he was, we talked through our dogs reactivity with Chris who was very attentive and understanding. He even went out of his way to let his neighbor (who has a dog) know he’d have a reactive pup there which was very thoughtful. About: I am 18 and I graduated highschool may 2026. I have a lot of experience with dogs and other animals. When I was younger I participated in dog training 4-h where I would take my dog and train him surrounded by a lot of other dogs. I also worked at a doggy daycare where I would watch many dogs at once and keep them all calm, fed, and happy. I have four dogs of my own, two Dalmatians and two chiawawa mixes. So I have a lot of experience in handling all types of dog sizes and breeds. About: I've taken care of dogs, cats, chickens, and bunnies for the past ten years! I have experiencing taking care of animals while house sitting for long stretches of time. About: I've taken care of fur babies for over 25 years, both cats and dogs. Most have been from rescue organizations and I've raised them from pups/kittens to seniors. I currently have a 12-yr old Pug, Buster, who loves cuddles and going on walks/hikes. I recently moved from Houston to the area and have the ability to work remotely. I have calls during the week but always make sure I have gaps to feed my Pug and play with him during the day. I live in a cabin which has open areas and a shallow river, St. Vrain, but have a gate on the bridge to ensure that my pet does not get to the street. I don't leave my Pug outside by himself keep him on a leash during walks and hikes. Inside of cabin is very open and plenty of space for hanging out and sleeping. The last 10 years I raised a German Shepherd from 8 weeks that sadly passed away last summer. Needless to say I miss being covered in dog hair. Currently healing from work injuries & pet sitter gigs help. We have a long mostly fenced yard with a dog run and various areas for the pups to stay during the day and night. We take care of all animals, plants, homes also off site whenever needed. Random projects and family life + Nature'ly Adventures. Structure and active or mental n zen in maintenance tasks help keep things progressive. Self respect and working manager mentality... We have dog run & areas and spaces to keep em cool and safety importantly maintained. We usually don't mingle with others and take note of any patterns or health issues.
About: I have done about 50+ petsits including 3 farm sits (MY FAVOURITE!) I love hiking, long walks and snuggling at home with the fur babies. I was outside of the US and have met clients outside of the app while traveling, that is why my reviews here are not recent. I can offer recent references from the past few months from my pet sitting clients. ❤️ I am still available to book here. I call the animals I take care of "my babies." I can run outside with the dogs 3 hours per day. I am a homebody and work online, so for me it's heaven to be inside the home with beautiful pets. That is actually my idea of a dreamy day. I would be a great sitter for an animal who wants lots of company or who isn't used to being alone. I can be out less than 2 hours per day if requested. I also respect the space and preferences of animals. I think about making them happy first, not them making me happy. I love long walks and making sure Dogs who need to run off leash, do so. I also love playing games like tug of war and fetch. I'm able to spend several hours per day to play with and excercise the Dogs. I research about each breed before I accept the sit and I now have experience with different breeds. I send photos and videos every day. You may have to tell me when you think it's too much. I filled up a lot of my memory on my phone and solid state drive with the pets I've taken care of, but I can't delete the photos. It's like deleting photos of your kids. Not possible. Excited to hear from you. I sure have enjoyed the love of pets and I hope to be able to continue enjoying caring for pets. Amazingly. I work better when there are pets around. I already prefer to be home. I'm the type of person that reminds myself to go out of the house and be among people. The one thing I am good at is taking walks every day, so that habit also works well when I'm taking care of Dogs who like walks. I could walk a Dog more than their used to even, if the owners thinks it will make them happy. I am used to preparing special foods for Dogs and Cats, being sure animals don't escape. I would say I go into Mommy mode once I'm with the animals. When there are more than two pets in the house, if I snuggle with one, I will then go to snuggle and give attention to the other one. If the other animal loves playing fetch, I may snuggle the animal, then play fetch after. I don't play loud music around the animals. Although I also don't like loud music when I'm alone .

“We weren’t able to book our normal sitter for our dog reactive pup and thought we’d have to miss a family trip until we met with Chris. Chris met with us and our pup a couple times very close to the date of the trip a to make sure our dog was comfortable in the new environment with new person. Once it seemed like he was, we talked through our dogs reactivity with Chris who was very attentive and understanding. He even went out of his way to let his neighbor (who has a dog) know he’d have a reactive pup there which was very thoughtful. During the trip, Chris gave us great updates and we felt good knowing he was in good hands. If we need a sitter again for any period of time, Chris will definitely be top of mind. Thanks Chris!”
