“We weren’t able to book our normal sitter for our dog reactive pup and thought we’d have to miss a family trip until we met with Chris. Chris met with us and our pup a couple times very close to the date of the trip a to make sure our dog was comfortable in the new environment with new person. Once it seemed like he was, we talked through our dogs reactivity with Chris who was very attentive and understanding. He even went out of his way to let his neighbor (who has a dog) know he’d have a reactive pup there which was very thoughtful. During the trip, Chris gave us great updates and we felt good knowing he was in good hands. If we need a sitter again for any period of time, Chris will definitely be top of mind. Thanks Chris!”

“This was my first Rover experience so I was a little nervous to leave Indie with someone new (admittedly, I'm a rather needy pet parent - oops! :) ) Della was so thorough in explanation her daily routine with doggie visitors during our meet and greet a local park. Indie is a pretty shy with new people, and Della completely respected Indie's pace to earn her trust. Della has a radiantly warm and positive energy. Her calm confidence and compassion helped put both Indie and me at ease for her first overnight sleepover party. I received plenty of photos of Indie joyfully leaping around the park with the other doggie guests - and very prompt responses - which I so appreciate. Della somehow even captured a photo Indie with her floppy ears completely airborne as she ran around with other dogs - which made me laugh and is now my phone wallpaper. About: I’ve always loved being around and caring for dogs! I’ve had a dog of my own for almost my whole life, who I care for on the daily. When a friend is in need of a dog sitter they come to me and I care for their pup like my own! I am home very often on a daily basis so I have lots of time to spend with your pet and care for their needs! This leaves plenty of time for play and attention. I have a big fenced in yard where the dog can run and play along with my energetic 4 year old dog. Your pet can be crated if needed/desired but is welcome on the furniture just like my dog!

We are confident in our abilities to care for elderly and young dogs. We recently took care of a liter of 6 pups and momma till they were ready to be in their forever homes. We really feel in tune with the behaviors of dogs and also enjoy cats too! We love taking walks and hiking. We are available full time since we make our own schedule. Dogs are such unique creatures and we really enjoy getting to learn about them and spend time loving on them. We would love to come play, walk, feed, and care for your pet. We have spent a lot of time with multiple dogs a day so we feel very qualified to look after your special companion. We also have special leash training skills of how to walk dogs. Hope to meet you and your dog!! We work from home, we consider ourselves the utility players, meaning when someone needs us we are available. So we will be able to be with your pets for long periods of the day. We will be with your pets in the comfort of their home and if it something you and the pets are comfortable with we can take them with us to local places.

Structure and active or mental n zen in maintenance tasks help keep things progressive. Self respect and working manager mentality... We have dog run & areas and spaces to keep em cool and safety importantly maintained. We usually don't mingle with others and take note of any patterns or health issues.

About: Hello! I’m from Boston, MA and am in Boulder for graduate school. I grew up around cats, dogs, reptiles, hamster, you name it! I can’t have any animals in my current home and miss my cat and dog dearly. My family dog Moose (Silver Lab) is a therapy dog and I’ve had amazing experience with service dogs in the educational setting, so I have an understanding of the importance of animals in our lives. I can’t wait to bring my years of pet care experience and love to your furry family member:) As a grad student, my schedule is very flexible. This allows me to let your pet out midday, as well as support you and your pet during the typical 9-5. I additionally have a car and can easily reach areas outside of central Boulder. Due to the nature of school work and my research work, I’m able to be at home with your pet as consistently as you require. I’ve seen how pets can fear abandonment when their owners leave, so my ability to be present with your pet will not only support their health, but also their well-being. I believe I’m a very trust worthy individual, due to my experience as a high school teacher as well as my vetting process to become a funded PhD student. I take pride in the work I do, and that extends to caring for your pet.

Chris met with us and our pup a couple times very close to the date of the trip a to make sure our dog was comfortable in the new environment with new person. Once it seemed like he was, we talked through our dogs reactivity with Chris who was very attentive and understanding. He even went out of his way to let his neighbor (who has a dog) know he’d have a reactive pup there which was very thoughtful. “This was my first Rover experience so I was a little nervous to leave Indie with someone new (admittedly, I'm a rather needy pet parent - oops! :) ) Della was so thorough in explanation her daily routine with doggie visitors during our meet and greet a local park. Indie is a pretty shy with new people, and Della completely respected Indie's pace to earn her trust. Della has a radiantly warm and positive energy. Her calm confidence and compassion helped put both Indie and me at ease for her first overnight sleepover party. I received plenty of photos of Indie joyfully leaping around the park with the other doggie guests - and very prompt responses - which I so appreciate. Della somehow even captured a photo Indie with her floppy ears completely airborne as she ran around with other dogs - which made me laugh and is now my phone wallpaper. When I went to pick her up the next morning, her sweet daughter Uma parted with her with plenty of hugs and kisses. What a sweet family Indie is lucky to reside with when I'm out of town. We're lucky to have found Della & Uma!”
