About: I grew up on a farm with dogs, cats, cows, chickens, goats and rabbits. My love of animals lead to taking every elective I could in Animal and Dairy Sciences while majoring in Math and Accounting in college. I am a married mother of three with an empty nest that has been filled with oodles of doodles and cats! My favorite times are when the grand-cats and grand-dogs come to visit! I retired from the corporate world and now spend my days and nights taking care of pets! I should have retired years ago because this is the best life! As an experienced pet owner, I know the importance of safety. I believe in leashes for walks and keeping the environment safe for our four legged friends. I have driven across the US four times with our cats and dogs and it was great fun for us all!

Melissa has done a great job in taking care of our fur baby. She has watched her for both daycare and has done one day of boarding. My dog appears to be very happy and adjusted well to a different environment. It also helps that Melissa has two beautiful and very friendly dogs. This I’m sure has helped my small pooch feel very welcome and comfortable. Melissa is attentive and she’s also quick to respond to my communications.
