About: Dogs have been my constant companions throughout my life, and I've loved training and caring for them every step of the way. Currently volunteering with the La Plata County Humane Society has only deepened my commitment to animal welfare. Since I work from home, your pet will rarely be alone. I'll keep you connected with plenty of photos and updates, so you can enjoy your time away knowing your best friend is in loving hands. Since I work from home, your pet will rarely be alone. I do not have any hobbies or obligations that would take me away from them for more than a few hours. If your pet has any special needs, I am sure I can accommodate. I will care for your pets however you may wish! I love playing with dogs, taking them on walks or to the dog park, or simply lounging at home with them. About: I have taken care of all pets of shapes, sizes, and ages. Dogs, cats, chickens, guinea pigs, snakes, rabbits, peacocks, etc. I especially like to take care of older pets as they have a special place in my heart. I work part-time in the afternoons Monday-Friday so I am available in the mornings and evenings for routine breakfasts and dinners. I also live in walking distance to most homes. Which makes last minute help more accessible. Trust is the first thing I offer to all pets. We will have an initial meet and greet to get to know pets and see if it’s a match. I will be completely flexible to their routine as that’s imperative to a happy pet. I’m already always covered in cat hair so hugs and loving is a must.

About: I had many pets growing up, but I don't currently have any of my own. I love animals and so, for many years, I have filled the pet void by taking care of my friends animals as needed. For 2-6 weeks at a time on some occasions. Its great to know that I'm giving people peace of mind when they are away from their pets. My friends know that their dogs are getting spoiled with outdoor adventures and cuddles on the couch. You shouldn't have to worry about your furry friends when you leave town. Going for a dog walk easily becomes the best part of my day, and so offering my service to folks beyond my immediate friend group seems like a really enjoyable way for me to make some extra cash. I work from home full time, Monday through Friday, and I have a very flexible day-to-day schedule that allows me to provide constant supervision and take frequent breaks throughout the day for sun, exercise, playing and pets. I have a working vehicle that is dog friendly. I am happy to go to the dog park and explore hiking trails, but I also live on a farm and the property is fully fenced in. I have experience taking care of dogs that have recently had surgery and require carrying up/down stairs and lifting in/out of the car, have needed meds both orally and via injection, elderly dogs that need frequent trips outside, and high anxiety dogs that need close contact and attention and don't do well with other animal interactions. I am happy to meet individual pet needs based on health, personality, etc...

About: I grew up with all kinds of animals (dogs, cats, chickens, rabbits, and a few unexpected ones in between), so caring for pets has always been second nature. I adopted my dog over 10 years ago while living in Colombia, and he's been with me ever since. Over the years, I've gotten comfortable with all sorts of care, including giving medications and supporting him as he gets older. I have experience with dog-walking, drop-in visits, and pet sitting, and I know how important it is to find someone you trust with your pet. I'll treat yours like one of my own... with patience, care, and lots of attention! Caring for my own dog is already part of my daily routine... walks, exercise, and making sure he's well cared for and mentally stimulated. I work locally and have a consistent schedule, which allows me to plan ahead and make time for drop-ins or walks as needed. Every animal has their own personality and quirks, and their humans have their own expectations of care. I'm here to listen and adjust to both, whether your dogs needs an active walk to burn off energy or a calm visit with more snuggles than steps. My goal is to make sure your pet feels safe, cared for, and comfortable in their own environment.

About: I grew up with dogs of my own and have dog-sat for several friends and employers. I find dog-walking very meditative, and the personality of dogs can really come alive outdoors. I’m very attentive to energy levels, food/water intake, and of course, play time! I’m currently working part-time during the week but have my mornings and evenings open, as well as most weekends. I’m happy to chat more about what your pet care needs look like! Having my own cat, I always cat-proof my home to ensure that my cat is safe whether I am home or not. Before leaving the house, I always ensure my cat has enough food and fresh water. I would not only do this at your home, but I would also leave it better than I found it, treating your home as your sacred space that deserves respect, privacy, and cleanliness.

About: Hello! My name is Kimberly and I would love to be your dog sitter! I love to play/walk and take care of dogs. They seem to love when I give them my full attention! I've had dogs my entire life and I'm very comfortable giving them the care they need. I've dog sat in New Jersey for a few years and then when I moved to Durango, I found more wonderful pets to hang out with. I’ve always had great experiences. I'm really good at following any type of schedule you may have for your pets. Currently, I'm pretty available, I'm teaching yoga part time and can bounce around to take care of your pups needs! I actually find that the fact that I teach yoga, help when caring for dogs. I'm very mindful and loving when approaching dogs for the first time and they seem to warm up to me pretty quickly! I hope I get the opportunity to work with your dog :) I’m an artist so I have a lot of free time to spend with your pets! I work about 4 hours in my studio on studio days which are about 3/4 days a week. I care for pets in the clients home so they feel comfortable in their space. I learn their routines and take time to really get to know them. When walking dogs, I make sure to watch for how they’ll react to other dogs/humans and make sure they are safe and happy.

About: I grew up with cats (5 to be exact) and a dog. Since that time, I have lived with a dog for the past two year. I have been cat and dog sitting for three years in Durango and in my previous home in Salt Lake City. I love most animals and have a lot of patience and love! I work remotely 9-5 from Monday-Thursday, so I can be home with your pet all day! I can walk them before and after work, and let them out to use the bathroom anytime during the day. My only requirement is a quiet space to work and good internet. I will be patient and loving with your pet. I know it takes time for pets to warm up to new people. I am good at approaching animals slowly and calmly so that they feel safe with me!

About: I’ve worked with animals my entire life! I’ve cared for horses and other pets with varying levels of medical and dietary needs and I’m comfortable with any type of pet and can stay on top of any unique medical needs they may have while giving them companionship! Since the age of 6 I’ve cared for a horse with very specific and high maintenance needs and I’ve even worked as a wrangler and caretaker in Yellowstone where I cared for over 30 horses at a time. I’m great at basic in home vet care and medication distribution if that is necessary! I’m very detail oriented and great at sticking to whatever specific schedule may be needed! About: Have taken care of dogs and cats my whole life! Never had a year without living with dogs, cats, and the many other lovely creatures I have as pets. I’m all about getting outside with animals and having fun! I’m currently a F+B manager working nights and have Sunday and Mondays off. Every morning, 6am -12pm, open for any adventure and/or pet care. Love taking care of senior dogs and running with high energy pups. I have no fence around my yard and keep all dogs on a leash or tether when outside and always accompanied when outside. I live right on the Animas River and love to walk my pets down. I have a 3 year old female dog Daisy and a 1 year old black male cat named Felix. Both are friendly and love making new friends! Will always take care of a clients pet and home like it’s my own.

About: I’ve grown up around dogs, and I have been able to spend lots of time with furry friends!! I definitely love animals more than people. My mom has boarded dogs for years, so I have learned to feed, walk and take care of pets. I worked at a doggie/cat daycare and boarding place for a year and a half as a supervisor, and I learned a lot with that experience. I love hiking and going for walks, and I love hanging out with furry friends! I am currently in school, and do not have a job. I have plenty of time to hang out with your pets and I am able to stop by often. I will make sure the dog is fed, and gets outside when needed. If the dog needs to be in a crate, I will put them in a crate. If the dog needs a harness for walking I will absolutely use it.

About: I’ve taken care of animals of all shapes and sizes since I was about 8. I’ve always loved the opportunity to meet people’s pets, I form a good relationship with them pretty much instantaneously. I love being able to help people go on their vacations or get through their work day knowing their animal is being taken care of. My complex doesn’t allow animals, and after the passing of my own pup it’s been nice to meet so many new lil fur friends. I’d love to help you! I work at least 4 days a week, but luckily I have a pretty flexible schedule; that being said, any time I’m not at work would be spent with your fur child. I’ve been trained in dog handling and I’m very gentle but also assertive when the situation calls for it. I’m good at feeling out the animals comfort level and letting them warm up to me in whatever way will be the least stressful for them.

About: As an avid outdoor enthusiast and dog lover you can be sure your dog is getting the attention and exercise they need! I try to take the dogs out 2 times a day for walks and every couple of hours for potty breaks. I do have a wonderful pup-o of my own, Luna so your doggo has some company. Is your dog more of a runner? If so I’ll pop on my mountain bike and let them do some trail running... more of a lazy doggo? How about some ice cream? Just kidding... no ice cream! About: I’ve had pets since I was born, and have also fostered puppies since a young age. i’ve always grown up with cats and dogs around, which makes me a good candidate for taking care of your pet. i have always had the responsibility of caring for pets young and old, so i know each pet may have unique needs. i have petsat for multiple friends over the years, and i make sure to always communicate with the owners and cater to each pet’s needs. i am working mainly nights, so will be around all day to drop by and take your pets out and spend time with them! i am very flexible right now, really just let me know what you need and i can make it work! i understand that different pets require different things. therefore, i like to follow the owners directions very carefully in order not to distress the animal while their family is gone. i can give multiple walks a day, administer medicine, feed at certain times, and spend time with all pets. please let me know what your routine is like!

About: I have a big heart for all animals. I’m kind and patient and enjoy playing with dogs and cats and even sitting on the couch snugging up to them. I’ve had a cat that was diabetic, had small dogs and cats that I’ve kept till they past away and now have 6 Frenchies and 2 bigger dogs and cats and a lot more animals I’ve taken care of at my moms house and have a kitten and puppy of my own now. I work in construction but it’s getting closer to winter so our hours are slowing down and I’m not working at much as I would like. I have a fenced in cage area at my house for our puppy, she is only at my house PART-TIME right now, because my boyfriend’s sister has her most of the time for right now. I would play with your dog, watch them and care for them just like if they were my own dog.

About: I have 2 mini dachshunds & a golden retriever that the loves of my life. I take care of friend and family dogs as well and have taken care of up to 9 dogs at once! I love animals and it brings me joy to spend time with them and make them happy. I manage a country club in Durango, I work evenings typically not going to work till 2:00-3:00 so I have tons of morning time to spend with your animals! I get off around 9:00 every night. I do not offer bringing other pets into my home. In others homes i find it important to bring pets outside and ensure proper enrichment!
