About: I’ve grown up around animals my whole life and genuinely love getting to know all their different personalities (whether they’re energetic and goofy, super cuddly, shy or anxious, dramatic, or a little mischievous 🐾) and I’ll always take the time to get to know both you and your fur baby(s)! I’m currently in college majoring in Biology and hope to pursue a career in pet grooming in the future! I’m also taking classes focused on dog psychology and body language, which has made me even more interested in understanding how animals think, communicate, and interact with people, other animals, and the world around them. I offer overnight house sitting only and always do my best to make pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you're away. Expect lots of photos/videos throughout stays! I give frequent updates and commmunicate as much as possible so you can relax knowing your pets are doing well. 🐶🐱 I do have experience working with senior and anxious pets and am comfortable administering oral medications, ointments, and other basic care needs (though I do not give injections at this time). Multi-pet households are absolutely welcome, though I do ask for a rundown of how your pets interact with one another, including any food aggression, jealousy, anxiety, or behavioral concerns so everyone stays safe. For the comfort of both you and your pets, I do require bookings to be requested at least 14 days in advance whenever possible. This allows enough time to schedule a meet & greet and make sure everyone is a good fit before confirming! I typically respond within the hour during the daytime, though replies may be slower between 9 PM and 8 AM. I'm sure this is stated somewhere on the site, but please also keep Rover’s cancellation policy in mind when booking. Any bookings confirmed with me that are cancelled within 7 days of the start date are subject to a 50% cancellation fee. When house sitting, I do my best to keep pets comfortable by sticking closely to their normal routines and paying attention to their behavior, comfort, and overall wellbeing. I’m very mindful about safety, both for the pets themselves and the home environment, and always make sure animals aren’t able to get into anything they shouldn’t. Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
