However - she came for a meet and greet and we had a chance to meet her and watch her interact with Gio. She is very responsible, trust worthy, and responsive to cat energy - talked softly and moved slowly when meeting Gio which I really appreciated - some sitters who are more used to being around dogs greet with too much enthusiasm and noise:-). About: I love animals. I’m compassionate, caring, dependable, honest and sincere. I’ve been around dogs all of my life. I’m a mom of two boys, a caregiver and I also have two dogs of my own. Before starting a family, I volunteered at local animal shelters and worked at the Marin Humane Society for almost a year as an animal care technician. Also, my older son is studying to become a vet tech and has a lot of personal experience with dogs and cats himself.I believe that pets are an integral part of the family and should be treated as such. I work as a direct support professional for a group home for disabled women in Windsor. I have a split shift schedule, and have Fridays and Sundays off. It’s only about a ten minute commute to work across town. I also volunteer at an animal sanctuary once a week. I have extensive experience with animals. I have a fenced yard and a one level home. I no longer have two small dogs of my own, a Jack Russel/chihuahua mix and a shitzu/maltese/bichon mix +, one passed away in October and the other in January of this year from old age. I treat each pet I care for as if they were my own. With love , compassion, patience and attention to detail and safety.

About: I’m the lady who crosses the street to ask if I can pet your dog. I love all dogs, but big dogs have my heart. I confess, I’m also the lady that will remember your dog’s name, age and origins, but perhaps not always your name. Although I have the confidence and experience to befriend your big dogs, that shouldn’t suggest that I don’t love our smaller friends, as well. Big and small, I love them all❣️ I’ve been responsible for animals most of my life. Chiefly, I’ve had the privilege to care and own big dogs. Growing up, we had a Sheppard-Mastiff mix, and that’s when my love for big dogs began. In our house, we had a macaw, cockatoo, kākāriki, ring-necked parakeet, and a cockatiel, tropical/ saltwater fish, dogs, and cats. I continue to be a proud breed ambassador and have owned 4 Rottweilers over the years. I’ve been gainfully employed as a civil servant for 25 years. After my last Rottweiler passed away, I wanted to care for a dog again, but haven’t adopted quite yet. I enjoy hiking, outdoor activities, walking and traveling, and of course dogs! I’ve had the privilege to care for our misunderstood and sometimes reactive dog friends, as well. All dogs deserve love. I helped welp Belgian Malinois puppies and ensure they found loving, deserving homes. I joke that, “If the choice was between world peace or puppies, I would choose puppies.” I can’t wait to meet your doggie! Since I’m a civil servant, my schedule is consistent. I have free nights and 3-day weekends. I enjoy a lot of free time that I would like to fulfill with dogs. I have a secured, fenced yard. I can also kennel your pets as well. “Lauren is honestly the best! I went out of town and she came by once a day to care for my cat Pepper for nine days! She went above and beyond taking pictures with her and playing with her and taking videos and sending them to me and giving me my daily check-ins, in addition to just the normal feeding and changing her litter box. Pepper loved her time with Lauren and I honestly think Pepper has been missing her since she is gone because she played with her so much. She is so mellow, so sweet, so friendly, so reliable and responsible, and I knew pepper was in the best of hands when I was a 6 hour plane ride away! I absolutely recommend her and will be using her again in the future for sure!”
About: I have taken care of horses, pigs, dogs, cats, and sheep. I live on a ranch and work with animals daily and love doing it! We have very large dogs and I am accustomed to working with all different temperaments. I am open to hard work and I am flexible to changing circumstances. I will take care of your home and pets as though they are my own :) I work part-time and am available on short notice. I am also quite active and enjoy going on adventures and would happily take your pet along if that is something they enjoy! I can handle a lot from your dogs! I also grew up in a household with dogs as pets so im very comfortable around all sizes and breeds of dogs. I am a stay at home mom, i also nanny my nephew during the week.
