Quia is excellent in how she handled Snacks, a 95 lb Akita with a lot of energy. She took charge right away and calmed him down. A true professional. Thank you so much, you are the BEST! Andrea McCartney (MsAMac)

The BEST person you could possibly have to walk/watch your dogs!! My dog LOVES Nicholle and her boy Rocky. I can tell how much he enjoys playing and walking with them just by the cute pictures she sends me! She’s always on time, responds quickly, and has great availability. I got so lucky to have found such a great person to check in on my baby while at work. I couldn’t recommend Nicholle more!!

Bethany was wonderful with my dog, Nova. They had a great walk together and Nova didn't pull her like she does me. Bethany is very kind, helpful and enjoys being with my dog. I appreciate her very much.

Naja was pleasant and Chaos was his usual self around her. She was open to me being an helicopter mom. XL furbabies can be very intimidating.

About: Hello! Please Check my availability below before booking ☺️ I’ve been caring for dogs since I was 10 and have experience with all sizes—from tiny Chihuahuas to big breeds like German Shepherds and Presa Canarios. I’m confident handling high-energy pups, gentle with seniors, and patient with shy or stubborn personalities. Whether your dog needs a long walk, playtime, or meds, I’ve got it covered. I treat every pup like my own and always make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved! 🐾 Monday- Friday: Available after 5pm 🐾 Saturdays: Available all day 🐾 Sundays: Available all day I’m happy to work with your schedule when I can, so feel free to reach out with any questions! While I don’t currently offer overnight boarding, I do have a fenced-in backyard where my dogs love to run and play—it’s a great space for safe outdoor time! As for my cat, she’s not a fan of the outdoors, but I still make sure she gets enrichment and movement by taking her on walks when she’s in the mood. I’m all about giving pets what they need to feel happy, safe, and comfortable.

I know how to safely administer medication for any dog ages, and i can handle dogs with any disability, from no back leg usage, missing legs, deformities, blind, and deaf. I will keep your fur babies on there set schedule, to make them feel right at home! I have trained pups as young as 2 months old, and even taught old dogs new tricks 😉. I know how to walk dogs, and can handle dogs with no leash manners, and pups with dog aggression, barrier aggression, separation anxiety, diabetes, dementia, man aggression, people aggressive, or super shy, i can make any fur baby feel safe, loved, welcomed and stress free.♥️ Your pups are my main priority! About: I have trained puppies, designed programs to solve behavior problems in adult dogs, cared for senior dogs, specializing in multi-dog households with a mix of all the above. I am currently designing software for a start-up idea so my schedule is very flexible. Ideal hours for day visits are between 8am - 9pm, overnight from 7pm - 9am “ish” and always available for emergencies. Different pets have different wants/needs so I will adapt my gameplan accordingly. Each visit will include some form of exercise, training and lots of love. My yard is fenced and my house is puppy-proofed. Lots of soft and shaded places to nap, inside and out. I use pest control and landscaping services so the yard is virtually free of stinging or biting insects and dangerous weeds or flowers. Clients can expect me to care for their pets and their property with utmost respect for house rules, privacy and courtesy.

About: All my life, I grew up with animals. At one point, I even had goats, horses, and even pigs! Growing up animals were a big part of my life, and and they still are to this day! Though I have recently moved, I had 9 dogs, all of which were rescues from shelters, I am very affectionate and engaging with pets. I have experience working with pets in the past. I even have experience in medicating animals, as I have given dogs parvo shots, and even medicated a diabetic cat. I am flexible with my times, and I love all dogs of any shape or size. I have direct experience with animals in a ton of different environments, and right now I even have two dogs of my own! Pets are my passion and just know any fur babies under my care will be loved and cared for! I am pretty flexible right now with my time due to being self-employed, so I am willing to work with your schedule and needs for your pet! My pets receive lots of love and attention. I typically feed my own pets twice a day, and both my pets are potty trained, so they are taken out whenever they ask, or before an extended period when I am not home. That being said, I am happy to accommodate for the needs of your own pet for feeding and potty habits!

Taylor was great at communicating and let me know when she got there and then when she was finished. She took a lot of pictures of Mollie which made me feel very comforted. When I got home Mollie was clean and happy and had just got up from a nap on the couch which was perfect! Thank you so much for taking care of my dog!

About: I've always had dogs. I unexpectedly lost one of our furry companions and I have an empty yard and dog safe household. I loved walking my dog, I would love to walk yours. I'm in a season of availability to care for a few extra pups for anyone who needs it. I have a big yard with lots of shade and sunny spots. Just a little York terrier next door. I'll walk as much as needed to get the dog(s) tired and fed whatever diet is needed. I have a 4 ft chain link fenced backyard with a latching gate, a little Yorky next door who is all bark and no bite, named Salvy, he's friendly. He only comes out a few time a day. Easily avoided if necessary.

  • 93% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 97% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 97% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
