“My husband and I have been looking for a new walker and this was our first time working with Katie. She is communicative and also very understanding of our needs. Kiki can be a little too much when meeting others for the first time, but Katie handled her behaviors well! Thank you again :)”

“Lydia is an amazing dog walker for Hazel, always reliable and caring each Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Hazel adores her, and Lydia’s expertise shines in Hazel's improved walking behavior. Her warm and professional approach gives me complete peace of mind. Highly recommend Lydia for anyone seeking a dependable dog walker!”

About: I follow each dog’s lead and make sure they feel happy, safe, and relaxed, explore, and move at their pace. Simple care, happy dogs, Happy walks, wagging tails, safe returns. From energetic walks to relaxed strolls, I make sure every dog gets the fun and care they deserve, and always return home safe, happy, and wagging their tail. I focus on making every pet feel safe, comfortable, and happy. In a client’s home, I follow their routines closely — feeding, walks, playtime, and any special instructions — so pets stay relaxed and stress-free while you’re away.
About: I’ve had a lifelong love for dogs and grew up with my sweet cocker spaniel Bella, who was by my side for 15 amazing years. Towards the last years of her life, I really took the initiative to be by her side and constantly look after her. Now, I have a King Charles Cavalier named Bowie. My family and I got him when he was only a few months old, so I took a big part in helping raise/train him. He’s cuddly, loving, and playful, and always keeps me smiling. I’m a 19-year-old pre-nursing student at CSU East Bay, born and raised in Chula Vista. Right now I am currently in school but my entire weekdays/weekends are free. All I need is to know in advance so I can plan accordingly. I know how much pets are a part of the family, and I’ll treat your dog with the same love and attention I give my own. Whether it’s a walk, playtime, or just keeping them company, I’ll make sure your pup feels safe, happy, and cared for. I am also someone who follows the rules and will follow any instructions that are given to me.

My passion for understanding and caring for animals is deeply rooted in a lifetime of experience, both personally and professionally. While my formal background spans over 25 years in leadership, management, and coaching – skills that ensure a highly organized, professional, and reliable service – my heart has always been connected to the well-being of pets. This experience, combined with my insights into behavior and communication (both human and animal), allows me to connect with your furry friend on a deeper level, ensuring they feel secure and happy while you're away. My approach is centered on providing individualized attention, respecting each pet's unique personality and routine, and creating a safe, comfortable, and stress-free environment in their own home or while visiting. I am highly attentive to their behavior and cues, ensuring I can identify and address any signs of stress or discomfort promptly. I follow all care instructions meticulously, from feeding schedules and medications to exercise routines and specific handling preferences. Building trust is paramount. I do this through consistent, positive interactions with your pet and clear, reliable communication with you.
“Thank you Dani. I appreciate how well you communicated via the app on your availability and even your arrival for Harley’s walk. Our boy got a good walk today and he’s a happy dog.”

“My husband was gone on a business trip and I needed some help walking Kiki in the afternoons. I wanted someone experienced with pitties just in case some of her behaviors came out during the walk and Alex did great! She was always super excited to see him and we can’t wait to book him again :)”

“Alex is solid. He had his hands full for 5 days with our two fur babies, a chow and a pit, and he delivered. No easy task considering how hard our pit pulls on walks. Great communication and no worries. I strongly recommend Alex and would definitely hire again. Thanks Alex!”

About: Growing up I had many animals including dogs, cats, fish, hamsters, leopard geckos, snakes, and more. From a young age I had the responsibility of these animals wants and needs. Over the years I have gained skills, tactics, and knowledge for certain things and am confident in my abilities to handle any animal ranging in age, size and needs. I work part time working with dogs so I have plenty of time to be with yours!! I am available mainly any time just COMMUNICATE! I will make things work! I do attend college however I am free to board with the exception of having to attend class/work. I am able to check in with dogs between classes. Although I don’t board dogs at my home quite yet, my fur baby is house trained along with crate trained. I have a big yard he goes and plays in and throughout the week he boards at my work for daycare. I love exercising weather that’s going for a walk or going on a hike (willing to find dog friendly trails) and more.

Hayward Highland dog parents share their Rover experiences
Extremely patient and kind with my very reactive bully. Was attentive to surroundings during our walk and always looking for the best path to navigate Echo around and away from other dogs. She is now (finally) wiped out and sleeping on the couch after a mile and a half walk on the trails.
