“Adrianne and her family have been a safe haven for my dog, Shaggy! First of all, I appreciated Adrianne’s meet and greet where we got to know each other briefly, talked about the expectations. Adrianne went above and beyond to accommodate Shaggy. She made my day by sending his pictures from morning till night 2-3 times a day:) it felt like I stayed connected with my dog and ensured he was happy and cared. Because of an inconvenience I personally experienced, I had to extend Shaggy’s visit one more day. She was very kind and understanding about the situation. We were able to extend the stay one more day. So long story short, she was amazing! I hope I can meet people like Adrienne when I move to Minneapolis because she is a really caring and kind pet lover and very friendly and kind person!”

About: I’ve been a dog owner and foster parent my whole life. I’ve trained and owned all kinds of dogs from Jack Russels and Pomeranians to Great Danes and Golden Doodles. The relationships I build with dogs are enriching and rewarding. The innocence and desire to just be themselves is what I love about animals. I treat my new dog friends like family and I believe they prosper in a relationship that promotes their inner dog as well as setting boundaries that help the human/canine relationship prosper. I embrace the belief of calm assertive dominance and find it that dogs seem to find peace in me being in that role. I only have classes a couple hours a day around noon. I am looking to fill up my mornings and evenings with a care that I deeply enjoy and am passionate about! For house sitting, I stay overnight and follow the pet’s normal routine, including feeding, walks, playtime, and medication if needed. I provide companionship, keep the home clean, and send regular updates with photos to keep the owner informed and reassured. For drop-in visits, I stop by three times a day for about 20 minutes each visit. During each drop in I handle feeding, potty breaks, playtime, and basic care, while making sure to send detailed updates and pictures after every visit.

“Virginia met us at a local park so we could introduce our shepherd to her before her stay. We talked for almost an hour.... it was wonderful and Virginia is amazing with people as well as dogs. She sent us pictures of our Maggie while we were away to keep us updated on how she was doing. I definitely would use Virginia again in the future and recommend her to anyone needing a loving caretaker for their pet when they are away.”

About: I have fostered dogs my whole life, and rehabilitated many untrained fosters. I basic obedience train all my personal dogs and foster dogs. I have also volunteered at the local animal shelter for the past 3 years. My husband and I work opposite schedules so someone is home majority of the day. I start my day at 4am taking care of my own dogs and work 8-4. My husband’s home all day and leaves for work at 2:30 so your beloved family member will have around the clock care! I have a 6ft privacy fence. I also am very trained in crate and rotating dogs if need be. I am equipped in medication administration as I have two personal dogs on daily meds. I have been trained on how to properly introduce dogs and have fostered many dogs over the past few years. I also have the room and availability to keep your pup separate from other dogs in the home if need be.

About: Hi! We are passionate about serving owners through their pups 🐶 We have a 9 acre property that your pups have access to. We provide three walks a day and also provide doggie daycare services to help socialize pups, if requested by owners. We have two Bernese Mountain Dogs, Hank and Harley, that we use for socialization. They are lover dogs and enjoy playing with other pups! Daily pictures will be taken and sent to owners. We have a full time staff member, Kristin, to provide services and supervision. We can do drop off and pick ups between 7a - 7p. We have a fully insulated space for pups to feel comfortable and safe. They are always on leashes or enclosed in our outside fence area.

About: For my career I am a zookeeper taking care of all types of species from young to old. I have provided medical care and geriatric care. I currently work full time as a zookeeper and am looking for some side work that encompasses my passion of animals. Pet care is my full time job and full time home life. My pets have a fenced yard, an in/out kennel that allows them the freedom to be in or outside all day long. They have heat in the winter in the kennel and fans/fresh air in the summer. They stay in our home when we are home.
