“We would Recommend Jannah over and over. She has always been hyper vigilant about the safety of our pups in the heat… she truly cares about the pups !!! As always thanks Jannah !!!”

“Jennifer was a God-send. I had an issue with a sitter who mistakenly locked my dogs in the house and then changed her booking so she would not have to return. Jennifer stepped in and assisted me while I had to dispatch a locksmith. She followed instructions to the T! I was able to enjoy the rest of my trip because I had become increasingly panicked. My pets loved her as well, and she was able to get them to eat. They play so much sometimes they forget to eat! I will most definitely book her again!!!!”

About: I genuinely treat every pet like they’re part of my own family. I’m patient, intuitive, and focused on making animals feel safe, loved, and relaxed; whether it’s their first visit or their fifth. I have experience caring for dogs of all ages, including playful puppies with lots of energy and senior pets who need extra time, attention, and gentle handling. I’m great at picking up on a pet’s needs and adapting my care to match their personality. Whether they’re anxious, shy, energetic, or need medication, I’m calm, consistent, and always focused on their comfort. I also love sending photo updates to give pet parents peace of mind and a smile while they’re away. My goal is simple: give your pet the same love and care you would. I work from home full time, which gives me a super flexible schedule and allows me to be fully present for the pets I care for. Whether it’s sticking to a feeding routine, going out for regular walks, or just offering comfort and companionship throughout the day, I’m able to give each pet consistent attention without distractions. Because I’m home most of the day, pets aren’t left alone for long periods, and I can easily adjust to their specific needs—whether that’s frequent potty breaks, medication schedules, or just extra playtime and love. Pet care naturally fits into my daily rhythm and brings joy and balance to my work-from-home lifestyle. When caring for pets in my home, I make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and part of the family. I create a cozy, pet-friendly environment with space to play, rest, and be themselves. I stick to their routines—whether that’s feeding times, walks, or medication—and provide lots of love, attention, and supervision throughout the day since I work from home. Pets are never left alone for long, and I always keep the space clean and stress-free. When I’m in a client’s home, I’m respectful of your space and routines. I make sure your pet is cared for exactly the way you want—whether it’s sticking to a daily schedule, managing special needs, or simply keeping them company. I’ll also keep you updated with regular photos and messages so you can feel completely at ease while you’re away. In both cases, your pet’s comfort and safety are my top priority!
“Heather was able to fulfill a last minute two day request! She was one time, professional, caring, and very detailed oriented when it came to our fur baby!!!! We are looking forward to hiring her in the future! She absolutely loved Gizmo and his grumpy old man ways!”

“LaShannah was thorough and diligent with the directions that we left for our dog. We had never used the Rover app before so we were nervous and concerned. However, she quickly put us at ease with her clear and frequent communication, photos and videos, and kind words about our dog. If you are looking for someone who is responsible, caring and dependable, LaShannah is the sitter for you!”

“Jason was great for my two pups! We hired him for 3 different stays and when we decided to stay longer on one trip he was able to help us out. My pups instantly liked him at our meet and greet. Jason was very caring and attentive to our dogs and took very good care of them. Will definitely will use him again in the future.!”

“Josh has been absolutely amazing in sitting for Lollie. She is generally bot a huge fan of men, but she just adores Josh!! He has visited a couple of times while we are there and Lollie is over the moon for him - she wags her tail so hard I think she might throw her hip out - lol. I would recommend Josh to anyone who needs a pet sitter - he loves Lollie and she loves him back - we are grateful to have him.”

Jordan was great and very attentive to my babies! She sent many pictures that eased my anxiety of being a first time user of Rover. She offered a meet and greet before so that I could meet her and make sure that she was a good match. I will definitely be using her again in the future.

Whether you’re at the office for the day or traveling for a few nights, a pet sitter can offer potty breaks during a Hampton stroll, cleaning the litter box, or making sure your pet has on-time food or water refills. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available 24/7 by email or chat if you have concerns.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Hampton. On Rover:
- 94% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 95% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 97% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
