About: I’ve cared for dogs my entire life, including managing multiple dogs in my own home. I’m very comfortable with different personalities, sizes, and needs—including large and giant breeds. Dog Preferences & Handling Notes: For safety and physical health reasons, I am not able to accommodate: heavy leash pullers, highly dog-reactive dogs, dogs with a history of lunging/dragging handlers, or multiple large high-energy dogs requiring significant physical restraint. I’m best matched with: leash-trained dogs, senior dogs, lower-to-moderate energy dogs, gentle giant breeds, and dogs with solid walking manners. This helps ensure a safe and positive experience for both your pets and me. I pay close attention to behavior, body language, and routines to ensure each dog feels safe and comfortable. I’m reliable, detail-oriented, and treat every dog as if they were my own. I understand the importance of calm, confident handling. I take a thoughtful, no-drama approach to pet care—dogs tend to settle quickly in my environment. I offer flexible scheduling for drop-in visits and dog walking throughout the week. I’m available for morning, midday, and evening visits depending on your pet’s routine. I keep my schedule intentionally manageable so I can be reliable, on time, and fully present for each visit. I provide drop-in visits and dog walking in your home environment, where your dog is most comfortable and secure. I do not offer boarding in my home. I’ve found that dogs do best when they can stay in their own space with their familiar routine, scents, and surroundings. For safety, I only accept dogs that are well-managed, non-aggressive, and manageable on leash. I’m not a good fit for dogs with a history of biting, high reactivity, or uncontrolled behavior. My approach is calm, consistent, and attentive. I focus on creating a safe, low-stress experience for each dog while maintaining clear communication with owners. Attention to detail when it comes to pet care is paramount.

Weekends vary a bit more for our family, as we occasionally travel or have plans, so I keep my Rover calendar updated and only accept bookings when I know I can give pets the time and attention they deserve. Because I have a flexible schedule and spend much of my time at home, I'm able to provide attentive care, frequent check-ins, and plenty of love and companionship while you're away. Safety, reliability, and communication are my top priorities. During walks and drop-in visits, I follow your pet's normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, potty breaks, exercise, medications, and any specific instructions you provide. I understand that every pet has a unique personality and comfort level. Some pets love lots of play and activity, while others prefer a calmer approach. I take the time to build trust with each animal and ensure they feel comfortable and cared for while you're away. During walks, I prioritize safe leash handling, awareness of surroundings, and making sure your pet gets appropriate exercise based on their age, energy level, and needs. During drop-ins, I'll make sure your pet has fresh water, attention, playtime, and companionship—not just a quick visit. I also respect your home as if it were my own. I'll follow any household instructions, keep things tidy, and make sure doors, gates, and locks are secure before leaving. You'll receive updates and photos after each visit so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is happy, safe, and well cared for.
