“I had to leave town on short notice, and I'm so thankful Lindsey was able to squeeze us in! She came over for a quick meet and greet, and I could tell right away she was a calm person who would be great with my shy timid little girl... and she was! She sent photos and kept me updated on how she was doing... I'll DEFINITELY reach out to Lindsey again!”

“Karen was great with our dog and cat, you can tell she has an animal lover’s soul! She took cute pictures for us when we were away and let us know if anything was going on with our babies. We knew we could have peace of mind with her and will definitely be reaching out to her again in the future!”

“Kat was great! She took such great care of my grumpy girl. She was super consistent on keeping me in the loop and ensuring I was fully aware of what was happening while I was away. I was super happy with the way she took care of everything and I would absolutely recommend her to anyone. I’ll definitely keep her in mind if I ever need someone to come check on my chunky loaf again! 😊”

“Michelle is an absolutely amazing sitter. Mia is happy to see her each time she comes and treats her with warm and kindness. A true dog lover here. She definitely goes the extra mile!!”

“This is the first time I have ever had to have watch my dog in the nine years I've had her. Needless to say I was terrified. My dog is my family and leaving her someone i didn't know was not something I wanted to do but needed to due to changes at my job. Alexandria made me feel so much more comfortable with even just the meet and greet first. She truly takes of girl as if she is her own and has put my mind at ease knowing that she is in good hands when I am not there. I highly recommend her!! She is has also been very patient and understanding to my schedule, constantly changing due to my job.”

“Olivia did great with my puppy Dolce. She was very communicative and quick with her responses. Sent lots of photo updates and kept me in the loop the entire time. Would definitely recommend!”

About: I have always been the go-to person for many of my family and friends to go and feed the dogs or hang out with them. I grew up with dogs and always understood cues on when to give space or when they needed something! I adopted my dog almost two years ago and immediately started dog walking with her and later did basic training. At the moment, I work part-time from 1:00-6:30pm. My mornings are free during the week and I try to stay available for weekends. I am more likely to accept a new request with at least a week advanced notice, I will try to be flexible if that is not possible. In other pet owners home, I will make sure to follow any guided directions or precautions in order to ensure trust and safety in the home environment. In my home, I keep areas clean and free of anything harmful to dogs. I throw toys away that are damaged or could cause harm because of damage. I give lots of enrichment through feeding games, training inside and outside, and toys that allow her to use her brain! I make sure she eats well and drinks plenty of water while getting lots of outside time!

“Hollie is the best! She goes above and beyond to take great care of my dog while I am at work or out of town. My dog is wary of most people, but she absolutely LOVES Hollie! She also takes really cute pics/videos of my pup!! I totally trust Hollie to take care of my pet.”

About: With 12 years of experience and a deep love for dogs, I know they’re more than just pets — they’re family! I cared for my own girl like a baby, showering her with love and comfort, all the way until the end. Your dog will receive the same level of care and attention, whether it's walks, playtime, or just some extra TLC. You can trust that I’ll treat your pup like my own, ensuring their happiness and well-being every step of the way. I’m currently working full time for a bank. I only work from home 2 days out of the week and the remainder in office. Luckily, it’s about 13 minutes from my home which is convenient! The days I wfh, I have capacity to watch your pup. If they’re a bit on the vocal side, I may have to have them in another room for any meetings I may have. Other than that, I can give them attention and let them out when needed (I have a doggy door as well). After work, I’m available for any essential pet care needs. From walking, play time, dinner time and last calls! (Last call in my house was the last potty of the night) I have a fenced in yard that’s a fairly decent size (that was my requirement before I bought my house). The neighbors all around me do have dogs ranging from small - medium and they can be vocal at times. The doggy door only remains open when I’m present and during the day. I also have cameras on the exterior of the house to cover the view of the yard.
“This was our first time using Rover and Britney was great! She was kind with our dogs, followed our meditation instructions and a great communicator! We could tell our dogs were very comfortable with her and enjoyed her visits. We will definitely be reaching out to her next time we need to leave them.”

“I was needing a last minute drop-in and Christopher was really quick to respond! He asked me questions about my puppy to make sure he had all the info to provide the best care. Arrived on time and exceeded expectations.”

About: Raised with pets all my life, I've trained my own puppies with everyday commands while also having some senior care work with dogs and have raised two kittens! As of right now, I'm unavailable from 12pm-6pm but leaves plenty of time for morning check ins and walks and evening work including boarding pets. I totally open to boarding. I would preference only animals that don't have any aggression towards cats as my roommate has one living with us right now. Thank you for understanding
About: I have taken care of dogs over the past few years. Friends and family have relied on me to walk, feed, and bathe their dogs. I work full time but I am available after 5pm during the week to walk your fur baby. I have more availability during the weekends to provide playtime, longer or multiple walks, and keep them company. When caring for pets at my clients’ homes, I prioritize their comfort, safety, and routine. I follow any specific instructions provided, including feeding schedules, exercise routines, medication administration, and any special needs. I ensure their environment remains clean and secure, refreshing water bowls, cleaning litter boxes, and tidying up after them. I also spend quality time with pets, engaging in play, walks, or cuddles to keep them happy and stress-free while their owners are away. My goal is to provide care that feels seamless, so pets stay comfortable and owners have peace of mind.
About: Growing up in a house full of animals, including dogs, fish, rabbits, and cats, has made me a lifelong animal lover. From volunteering at the San Antonio Humane Society throughout middle and high school to house sitting while friends and family are on vacation, my approach to taking care of pets is to treat them with the same care and concern I have for my fur babies. I have experience with a variety of sizes and breeds, from maltipoos and yorkies to shepherds and pitties. From puppies to seniors, I’m passionate about offering fun and safe care for your pet. I’m available for walks, drop-ins, and house sitting with at least three days' notice, but will make exceptions in case of an emergency! I also have experience bathing and am an expert at giving pill pockets :) Feel free to reach out with any questions or to check availability! I work remotely, so my pet play date schedule is pretty flexible! I'm available for walks and drop-ins on and weekdays from 10am-5pm; on weekends 9am-2pm. I'm also available for housesitting Thursday-Sunday. Every pet is different, so when petsitting long term, I like to meet them first to get a better idea of their personalities, likes and dislikes. Communication is key, so when I'm watching your pet, I love sending pictures and updates to keep pet parents in the loop.
“Samuel was incredibly nice and thoughtful! He was happy to make sure my dogs aren’t out of their normal routine while I was gone and was kind enough to send me pictures of them during his visits! Thank you so much Samuel!”

About: My passion for animals exists in every aspect of my life - in fact, I'm currently the director of an animal shelter-based nonprofit! I've enjoyed working with dogs and cats in various roles for the entirety of my career, and that fulfillment carries into my personal life as well! My professional area of expertise is shelter-specific animal behavior, training, and quality enrichment for our four-legged friends! I obtained my CBCC-KA from the CCPDT in 2020 and have maintained those credentials since, and additionally have trained countless PTSD Service Dogs. That said, my favorite activity is hangin' with a furry companion and getting to know them as individuals 💕 I am available for dog walks and drop-in visits (kitties, too!) on weekdays between 6-7am and after 4pm, and anytime on weekend (training availability on weekends, too!) I only utilize positive reinforcement-based handling techniques, so whether your pup or kitty is ultra friendly, super shy, and anything in between, you can rest easy knowing that they will always feel safe and comfortable! I take great pride in being able to give each individual animal the choice to dictate our next action. Dog CPR certified!

Ingram Hills pet parents share their Rover experiences
Olivia was amazing! She came by to feed our senior cat who only eats wet food. We also have other cats that can make things tricky since they always want that food too, but she followed our instructions perfectly and handled it with no problem. It’s such a relief to have someone trustworthy come into our home and care for our pets. We’ll definitely be booking with Olivia again!

Sinthiana was great taken care of our puppies. She communicated well and was very punctual. She also did a great job in administering insulin injections for our puppy and eye medications. Sinthiana was kind and friendly and would recommend her for anyone looking for her pet services.
