About: I have been pet sitting since my freshman year of college, and am now in my 30s. I am especially good with older dogs who need special care - even hand feeding or adjusting what they eat for their digestive systems to handle on a given day. Let me handle them and I'll make sure they know they're loved! When the alarm goes off at 5:30 every morning, I take our two labs downstairs to go outside, and then it's back up to the kitchen for breakfast. They spend the day with my husband, and then I take them outside before bed. They are my whole world! My biggest goal is to make sure I abide by your pet's routine and disrupt their schedule as little as possible. Our animals trust us, and I never take that trust for granted.

About: I have have a lifetime of experience caring for dogs and have 2 large dogs of my own with needs from daily meds, to separation anxiety, long walks to get out their energy, and special attention regarding interaction with other animals. I love walking dogs and make sure they get the exercise and attention they need! I’ll give them lots of love. My only commitments these days are online school, so I have a lot of flexibility to be available early in the morning, throughout the day, and late/overnight. About: I have several years of hands-on pet care experience from family and friends with dogs and cats. I’ve provided daily walks, multiple feedings, grooming, and basic training for dogs of all sizes and temperaments. I’m comfortable with senior pets and those requiring medication, and I’ve also cared for anxious or high-energy dogs with patience and consistency. In addition, I’ve done overnight stays, ensuring pets maintain their routine in a stress-free environment. I genuinely love animals and treat every pet as if they were my own, always focused on their comfort, safety, and happiness. I work from home during normal business hours with leniency in needing to step away during the day. Also willing to work from the pets home if WiFi is available! I tend to stay pretty flexible. Either way, they’ll be treated like my own pet which is very heavy on the cuddles, kisses and treats. My pup, Roxie, loves being outside- so if your dog loves it outside also then that’s where we’ll be! If they like to be a couch potato, that’s my spirit animal and I’ll make sure they’re all comfy and well veg it out together! Currently in my home there are 2 other pups also that are very friendly and 2 other people that also love animals! I do not have the set up for cats, as I don’t currently have my own but have had cats in the past and can also care for them. Familiar with litter boxes and giving medication to cats, also.

About: I have worked in professional pet care for 4 years and have been watching neighbors dogs for the past 2 years. At doggy daycare I have worked with all sizes and ages of dogs and am comfortable with all of them. I am currently and student at The University of Missouri but am still able to come to your house to watch your pet. I can stay at your house during the week or weekend, my classes are during the middle of the day so they can go out plenty of times in the morning and night. I have three dogs at home that I am very used to taking care of as well as my cat. I can follow your pets schedule so there is no difference in your care and mine.

About: Capable - since I started working at a veterinary clinic at age 15, many members of the community have reached out to me to care for their beloved animals and homes. Now that I am in veterinary school, I feel more confident than ever to provide well-rounded care for various types of animals. I have years of experience working at a bird boarding facility as well as caring for my own pet rabbits, Peachy and Cobbler. Compassionate - I understand that every animals is unique and requires special considerations. My hope is that pet parents will discuss with me any behavioral, medical, dietary, etc. goals that they have for their animals under my care. Thank you for considering me to care for you fur baby! To be transparent, I am busy during the school year and mostly hoping for summer work. My existing clients who are not on Rover are my priority, but I created this account to ultimately find work when I am doing veterinary externships outside of Missouri. That said, I am completely available to stay in your home, drop-in, or walk dogs during the weeks of July 6th and July 13th, 2026. Before being responsible for any animal, there are a number of questions I ask to feel comfortable with what all I will need to do to keep them safe and comfortable. I included a few example pages of the form I typically fill out while talking to pet parents prior to caring for their animals so that you know the types of things I like to know about. Of course, this information is species-dependent, and not every item will pertain to every individual.

I can do it! Your socially awkward pet doesn’t like people? That’s okay! You have an animal that most people don’t know how to care for? I guarantee you that I do. Working with animals is such a fulfilling part of my life and that’s why I’ve been doing it so long! **Rover takes a huge percentage of earnings for sitters! Therefore, I request that we use Venmo or another payment method instead of Rover! I work an incredibly flexible job, allowing me to spend quality time with your pets while you’re away. I work with my clients and around their schedules, making pet care as stress-free as possible! I usually care for pets in my client’s home, as my home is a bit of a zoo. I work hard to ensure we have trust and boundaries established so we both feel comfortable! One of the ways I do that is by doing a meet n greet beforehand. I love to get to know the pet parents and meet the pets before I start sitting.

About: I have taken care of my own pets and others almost my entire life including feeding and watering, giving medicine and shots, helping with birthing, and bathing. I seem to just be able to get along with almost all animals which definitely helps for my desired field. I can go out and play with animals, stay in and relax with them, or do a little of both. I am a student and I am currently taking summer classes, but they are mostly online so I will likely be able to schedule around them. I do also like to workout and do some activities with friends, but I can schedule around that some as well. This fall I will be full time student at MU so I will not be able to do most things, but I may have gaps then that I could fill. I do not currently have pets at my home in Columbia, only in Sedalia. Back in Sedalia, we live more in the country so my dogs have full range of wherever they want to go. They go in and out as they please but we always make sure they have food and water when they are home. They get lots of lovin's when they are home as well. Here in Columbia I will only be able to sit at the owners house and I can follow however they would want me to take care of their animal(s). I love to pet, play with, and cuddle with animals so any kind of care or environment works for me.

“Amanda was just THE BEST. The first time she met Hoss, my cat, they bonded. Hoss loves to play fetch and chase the dot and the two of the got right to it. Hoss likes the treats in a tube but would only eat then from the bowl till Amanda got to eat them from her hand. She knows how to make our pets comfortable and provided a lap to curl up on. Hoss would meet her at the door and tell her about his day. If your looking for someone watch your pet I'd recommend Amanda. So does Hoss”
