About: I grew up taking care of my pets and wanting to be a veterinarian. I had two cats and a dog while growing up and have experience feeding, walking, and even administering medication to animals. As I got older I understood the devastating parts of animal care and decided to pursue medicine rather than veterinary school but my passion for animals continued. For the last five years, I have volunteered at numerous animal shelters as well as taking care of dogs and cats privately in the owner’s home as well as taking them on walks throughout the day. This year is my first year living without an animal and I am hoping Rover can provide the cuddles and animal connection I miss so dearly. I lead an active lifestyle which includes several walks and runs a day which I enjoy doing with dogs I watch as well. I would be happy to take your pups with me if they are willing! I am looking forward to getting to know and taking care of new animals! I am currently a graduate student at Duke and love spending my time outdoors! About: I have a calm home to keep your pet(s) at ease in a new environment. I have a fenced yard for them to play as well and I am home 90% of the time to look after them. I also have additional Kennels if you prefer them to stick to their home routine. I have a background in dog training and grooming for 5+ years. I have had dogs of my own that were very hard to train and I have been successful in working with them to make them peaceful members of the family. I love animals and I am very patient with very energetic dogs no matter their size. I am willing to train and work with them as well when you are away. :)

About: I love dogs. Just do. I always had a dog growing up, and I’ve owned my dog Eddie for 4 years now. I’ve been pet sitting for as long as I can remember - it was my first job! In addition, I went to school for wildlife biology and have taught pre-veterinary medicine. My childhood dog was diabetic and had a liver issue, so I’m more than comfortable administering shots, pills, and treatments. Also, I’m a pro-walker. My parents say I started walking early, and I’ve been doing it ever since. But in all honesty, I just want to give your dog some attention and pets and would like you to let me.

I have walked/tan/hiked many different breeds, ages, and temperament pups and learned the ins and outs of dog walking :) I am pet first aid & CPR certified. I take dogs on at the very least 3 walks a day, one usually to the park or a trail to have more freedom to play. I am happy to let pets sleep in bed with me but can also keep stricter rules in place.

I will only board one animal family at a time since I have a dog of my own. I am also a nurse who works 12 hour shifts. I have been taking care of my own family pets since I was a child, and have been dog walking and pet sitting since high school. I love animals and since I don’t have any of my own here with me in Hawaii, I love being able to pet sit. Since I graduated college a few years ago I’ve had a pretty flexible job in the event industry where I often have a lot of spare time not working. House and pet sitting has given me a great opportunity to use this time hanging out with animals and getting some supplemental income while I’m doing it. I do not care for dogs in my own home due to our landlord being strict about no dogs. But In your home, I try to stick to the dogs normal routine as much as possible, whatever that may be for you. I do not provide boarding at my own home, but will care for pets in your home following whatever care routine is best for you.
