“Let me first preface with there's not enough good things to say about our experience with Ashley! She deserves more than 5 Stars! Suffice to say, we have found a permanent boarder for our Husky, Hana! Quick, efficient and detailed updates and correspondence with plenty of photos. Our puppy Hana, is a delicate flower, very timid and practically scared of her own shadow when around strangers or in public, but it was in her stars to have someone like Ashley whom gave her the compassionate, loving care she needs. It's obvious the experience was exceptionally good for her, as she has matured so fast in just 2 weeks of boarding. We have to be thankful as well of Ashley's fur-baby Apollo, as having a grown husky to show our pup the ropes has helped her come out of her shell further. Ashley then went a step further with follow up correspondence to ensure Hana had a nice transition back home. We're so thankful, Mahalo nui loa!”

About: Hello Pet Parents! My name’s Samantha, currently I am a single mom to an 19 month old boy and also a dog-mama to my Shih tzu named Cheech! I have had dogs my entire life and have been doing Rover for many years now. I take pride in my work and take it seriously, if I was going to have someone watch Cheech I would want to know they are trustworthy, diligent, understanding, and patient. So that is how I am with the pets in my care. I'll do anything to make a pups tail wag!! 🐾💝 I currently am a stay at home mom of one. I have the ability yo keep your pups schedule on track while they are in my care. I only work one a day week away from home ( I come home in my lunch break) and do property management from home on the side. My sister watches my son on the one day that I do go to work, so if your pet stays with me I would always be around or my sister would be at my home to let your pet outside, walk them, and care for their needs. :) I do not normally host more than one families pet/s at once but if I was going to, I would let both owners know before doing so and only with dogs that I had watched before and know that there would not be any issues. I offer pet/house sitting, I need to be able to bring my son with me & if possible I like to bring my shih tzu Cheech with me to boarding jobs. (But I do understand sometimes that isn’t an option. I don’t want any dog or cat feeling like their home is being invaded.) I have a small yard at my home to take dogs out but there isnt much running space if your dog is high energy. Luckily I do have a bike path right near by we can walk to for walks! If I have multiple dogs staying with me I do have the ability to separate them if necessary during eating, sleeping, or when I do run errands.

About: I have a calm home to keep your pet(s) at ease in a new environment. I have a fenced yard for them to play as well and I am home 90% of the time to look after them. I also have additional Kennels if you prefer them to stick to their home routine. I have a background in dog training and grooming for 5+ years. I have had dogs of my own that were very hard to train and I have been successful in working with them to make them peaceful members of the family. I love animals and I am very patient with very energetic dogs no matter their size. I am willing to train and work with them as well when you are away. :)

About: I currently work at a Vet clinic. I’ve been working here for a little under a year now, while previously working at PetSmart as a dog trainer. While working at PetSmart as the dog trainer I also helped on the fish wall and handling/caring for the small animals. I trained dogs of all ages for about 4-5 months before finding a job in the vet clinic which is what I have always dreamed of doing. About: I grew up taking care of my pets and wanting to be a veterinarian. I had two cats and a dog while growing up and have experience feeding, walking, and even administering medication to animals. As I got older I understood the devastating parts of animal care and decided to pursue medicine rather than veterinary school but my passion for animals continued. For the last five years, I have volunteered at numerous animal shelters as well as taking care of dogs and cats privately in the owner’s home as well as taking them on walks throughout the day. This year is my first year living without an animal and I am hoping Rover can provide the cuddles and animal connection I miss so dearly. I wake up at 4 am every morning to run my pup, and can definitely help out with your baby as well! I am extremely loving and enjoy nothing more than the company of furry friends. I take dogs on at the very least 3 walks a day, one usually to the park or a trail to have more freedom to play. I am happy to let pets sleep in bed with me but can also keep stricter rules in place.

Suffice to say, we have found a permanent boarder for our Husky, Hana! Quick, efficient and detailed updates and correspondence with plenty of photos. Our puppy Hana, is a delicate flower, very timid and practically scared of her own shadow when around strangers or in public, but it was in her stars to have someone like Ashley whom gave her the compassionate, loving care she needs. It's obvious the experience was exceptionally good for her, as she has matured so fast in just 2 weeks of boarding. We have to be thankful as well of Ashley's fur-baby Apollo, as having a grown husky to show our pup the ropes has helped her come out of her shell further. Ashley then went a step further with follow up correspondence to ensure Hana had a nice transition back home. We're so thankful, Mahalo nui loa!”
