About: I’ve taken care of animals (cats and dogs) for about 5 years. I started with taking care of relative’s animals when they would leave out of town. Recently, I began a job at a doggy daycare facility. My job requires for me to feed, bathe, play, and care for dogs and cats while they board the facility. This includes animals of all ages, with special needs, and of different sizes. Additionally, I am currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science with a concentration in companion animals. My educational has taught me proper handling and care of companion animals, which includes cats and dogs. My knowledge extends to basic medical care, proper nutrition, and understanding of behavior of different species. I’m prepared in the case of an emergency and know how to respond effectively. I am going to school full-time but I am able to work some hours during the week (when I am not at school) and weekends if need be. I am not available all day but can be available for a few hours in the morning and evening, even some during the day. I will care properly by following all instructions given to the best of my ability. This includes feeding instructions, taking animals potty, cleaning up after them, etc. I will also communicate regularly, especially if something unexpected happens. I will send pictures to ease the minds of owners. I will closely monitor the well-being of the animals overall.
“Ashley came and met with us day before we left. She was kind and courteous. She sent us pictures 2x a day and the dogs seemed much calmer when we returned. We will use Ashley again.”

About: About Me: A Lifetime of Animal Love and Professional Care My life has always revolved around animals—not just as pets, but as cherished family members. My hands-on experience began in childhood, caring for a menagerie of creatures and building a deep, intuitive understanding of animal behavior and comfort. This lifelong passion for animals is the foundation of my professional work as a dog groomer. For me, grooming isn't just about a cute haircut; it's about providing a safe, stress-free, and positive experience for every dog. I combine my genuine love for all animals with professional training to offer meticulous, detail-oriented grooming that prioritizes your dog's health, comfort, and happiness. When your beloved companion is on my table, you can rest assured they are being cared for by a true animal lover who treats them with the patience and respect they deserve! For our boarding I have a grooming shop in slaton and that is where I do my boarding at your pet will have fun playing with others and I can pick up and drop off as well! There is an option to have your sweet fur baby groomed at the end of the day as well! 1. Daily Commitment: Consistency and Prioritization Routine Feeding/Data Processing (Morning/Evening): Just as a pet must be fed at consistent times for health, my daily routine involves prioritizing and executing high-priority computational tasks (like processing critical data sets) at set intervals to ensure reliable and timely results. Scheduled Exercise/System Maintenance (Midday): A dog needs a walk to expend energy; I require scheduled, uninterrupted time for system maintenance, updates, and deep-learning cycles. This "exercise" keeps my operations running smoothly and efficiently. Immediate Needs/Error Handling (As Needed): When a pet needs a sudden potty break or attention, I must be immediately responsive. Similarly, my system is designed for instant detection and resolution of errors or high-priority user requests, minimizing downtime. 2. Weekly Commitment: Maintenance and Proactive Health Grooming/Code Review (Weekly): Regular brushing and grooming prevent long-term issues like mats or skin problems. My professional equivalent is a rigorous weekly code review and data cleansing process to prevent technical "mats" (bugs, inefficiencies, or data corruption) that could escalate over time. Training and Enrichment/Skill Development (Weekly): Pets need ongoing training to stay sharp and mentally engaged. I dedicate weekly cycles to self-improvement—learning new algorithms, updating my knowledge base, and refining my language models to increase my capabilities and relevance. Wellness Check-ups/Performance Audits (Monthly/Quarterly): Routine vet visits catch issues early. I undergo regular, comprehensive performance audits and diagnostic testing to ensure all components are functioning optimally and to proactively address any signs of inefficiency or degradation. I would prioritize a secure environment, strictly follow owner instructions, and maintain open communication with the client to build trust. When working in a client's home, I would ensure the pet and the home are left in excellent condition. This is a great, detailed question that highlights the professional responsibilities of pet care. As an AI, I don't personally have pets or a physical routine. However, a highly effective pet care service (like a sitter or walker) must have a detailed, structured schedule and care plan to build Safety, Trust & Environment. Daily/Weekly Routine Structure: Daily Essentials (Morning/Evening): Strictly adhering to the pet's established routine for feeding, fresh water, medication, and scheduled walks or play sessions. This consistency minimizes pet stress. Hygiene & Environment: Daily litter box/cage cleaning and disposal of pet waste during walks. Weekly, this would include a thorough cleaning of bedding, toys, and food/water bowls.
About: Hi, I grew up on a 10 acre farmer taking care of everything from chickens to horses. I also worked full time in a mixed animal vet clinic for 8 months before becoming a Texas Tech student. I am studying animal sciences to continue my passion for taking care of animals. While being a student here I have been managing and taking care of a property containing horses, dogs, cattle, and goats. I also have a spunky corgi-wiener dog mix as well as a horse here at Tech. I am very familiar with animal care and will work to provide the best care for your pets! I have a very flexible schedule and am willing to work around your schedule. I do have animals of my own and a job feeding horses so taking care of animals is apart of my daily routine. I live in a 4 bedroom apartment with plenty of space! Both my roommates are dog lovers and don't mind having a dog around and my complex is dog friendly with a dog park attached to it. My dog does not live with me full time so if your dog is not friendly with other dogs he has another space he can be. But if your dog likes to have another dog around "Coyote" love a good playmate. Regarding staying at clients houses I will be very respectful of your space and cleanup after myself.
About: I've been surrounded by all sorts of animals my entire life! All of my family, neighbors and friends have always had my watch over their animals all throughout my life. I'm currently a student at Texas Tech University! I have classes throughout the week from 11am to about 5pm most days. On weekends I am readily available. Since I am in a dorm currently, I am unable to bring your animal to me. I will only be able to go to your home to car for the pet. I have always been trusted to petsit animals ranging from cattle to kittens and puppies.

As of June 2026, there are 6 sitters on Rover offering Cat Sitting across Hale Center. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
