“Brad has always been fantastic with all our pets – and we are currently on our fifth and sixth family Golden Retrievers, aged 1.5 and a year, respectively. We have engaged his services for more than 25 years. All our previous Goldens lived very long, happy, and wonderful lives, and Brad has been a large part of their upbringing by serving as a loving caretaker whenever my husband and I were out of town on business trips or family vacations. We always preferred his staying at our home instead of placing our furry family members in a kennel, whenever possible. He gave us a level of comfort that no kennel could provide. His love of animals (and dogs in particular), as well as witnessing their overwhelming worship for him was immediately evident – in their eyes he could do no wrong; he was always a willing playmate, arbiter of disagreements, and lovable and friendly “Pack Leader.”  Whenever we engaged his services, we enjoyed receiving the several spontaneous bonus daily pics he sent of he and our pups engaging in various activities while we were away. As our dogs grew older and needed medications (sometimes several), he was expert at providing these as well as any special dietary requirements and contacting us whenever he had a question regarding correct dosage and administration. Always a gracious and considerate houseguest, it was habitual for him to straighten and clean up common areas, including bathrooms, and kitchen, prior to our return. As a testament to the excellent care our Goldens have received, each one continues to search for him in our home for days after his departure!”

As the years went by I began volunteering at Maui Humane Society and Hawaii Animal Rescue Foundation. From interning at a local vet clinic, working in kennel care, to bathing pets at the grooming salon.. I took the leap of faith and pursued my dream to provide pet care services throughout Maui County in 2017. Over the years, I have provided care for a variety of breeds, behaviors, and biddability. For overnight sitting I highly recommend reserving your appointments as soon as you have your dates in mind. My weekly schedule tends to book out quickly and my overnight sitting appointments book from a few months to a year in advance. New clients are required to schedule a meet and greet prior to starting their first initial service. At this time, I am no longer offering services at my home. Prior to your appointment we will discuss a care plan for your pet and schedule a time to meet at your home (if needed).

About: I grew up with four dogs, have owned two in my adult life, have a background in boarding, pet sitting, dog training, and house sitting. I'm a teacher and behavior specialist so I can train new tricks and decrease unwanted habits. You can teach an old dog new tricks, you just have to know how to. Right now, I'm on summer vacation with no travel plans until school starts again on July 27th. After that, I'm free from Friday 5pm-Sunday 9pm. I'm happy to board during the week, if you're comfortable with me being away for 6 hours while I'm at work. I'm also available during holidays, which fits in perfectly with your travel plans. I live on a property that's mostly fenced in, but I'll always be with your loved one securely. I'm active and love going on walks, hikes, and to the beach, if your furry friend like that too. I'm always happy to meet them where they're at. This includes training. I'm willing to work on any commands you're currently working on. While in the house, animals can chill on the furniture and in bed if that's where they're most comfortable.

About: 2022, I teach hot yoga in Kahului and am happy to still be a Rover dog sitter. I have been boarding clients’ dog’s now since 2018, starting out in Chicago. My first year with Rover was great because I had several different breeds and was able to board them at my flat in Pilsen (Chicago). I have done some house sitting while taking care of an elderly dog (administered medication) for an extended period. I’m flexible with my yoga schedule allowing me to have free time throughout the day and evening. I look forward to meeting new and old dog-o clients this next year! Being a yoga instructor allows me to break my day up. I’m able to come back home and walk the dog, play, etc. I think this is why dog sitting has worked out so well for me and my past dog clients. I enjoy getting out with my dog friend for long it short walks. It’s always fun to see all the people out with their dogs. I enjoy playing, throwing the ball around. I admit to cuddling often and just hanging out for “family time”. Dogs always seem to be happy after a busy day just to chill with me or I with them. And of course, each dog owner has their set of instructions for their dogs. The more information about your dog that I have the better. I appreciate the meet and greets, either video or in person.
