About: I have loved animals my entire life. I currently have 8 dogs and 2 cats of my own and foster frequently. I volunteer yearly at an animal sanctuary in UT. I transport dogs and cats for rescues. I have participated in many dog/puppy training classes and would continue any training programs for you while your baby is in my care. I will dispense medications and follow any medical instructions necessary. I am currently retired and love to hike and walk. I have an open schedule in the mornings and afternoons 7 days a week to care for your fur babies. I’m sure they would love to join me on a walk or hike. I have 8 dog friendly dogs that romp at my 7 acre property. My home is often referred to by friends as “Fran’s Dog Park” as visiting dogs are always welcomed. My two cats have learned to tolerate the dog infestation

About: I've lived with dogs nearly my whole life, and cats for half of it. I have taken care of said pets for years and been an in-family pet sitter on numerous occasions. My mother frequently cares for other pets through apps like this/through friends, and I assist her with that when needed. At the moment, I care for my mother's pets when she leaves town for any length of time (1 small/medium dog, 1 cat). Otherwise, I'm a free agent. Some of the services listed on the app have the potential to overlap (such as a visit and a walk), I don't consider the price to be totally compounding, just let me know and we can figure out what works best. I'd imagine this is on a situational basis. I'll pet/feed/walk them and am able to follow directions as well as any human, should your pet require specific, or unique, handling. I can usually read pet body language pretty well, but have no specific training in it. If there are any areas of confusion for me, I'll be sure to ask questions to make sure your pet is cared for properly.

About: My husband and I recently returned from Costa Rica where we volunteered on a dog farm assisting with bathing, grooming and giving lots of love to almost 2,000 rescued dogs that live there. My husband also has a separate rover account under Maxi S. During my high school/college years my mother trained 5 different dogs for guiding eyes for the blind which I helped in the training process as well while home. I also started housesitting and caring for pets of local neighbors at the young age of 10. We have always had dogs in my home. I couldn’t imagine living without a dog. I have experience with dogs of all ages, puppies to senior dogs. I myself have a 9 year old cocker spaniel who thinks she is a human. I understand all pet owners and their pets have different needs and will respect any rules required to give your pet the care they need. I will treat your dog like my own. My family just returned from Costa Rica. My husband and I are both looking for flexible part time work which allow us to still care for our 1.5 year old son. We have a good sized yard which is not fenced in but in a quiet neighborhood with a cul-de-sac. I don’t usually crate my dog, but if your dogs are crated I am familiar with crate training. I am a flexible person and am able to modify based on your pets needs.

About: I am in the military and want a dog very badly but cannot have one of my own. Dog sitting will help you and me. I have every other weekend off and available anytime. Also every other Monday Tuesday available anytime. Flexible schedule to work with your schedule as well. My apartment complex has a fenced in area for dogs to take care of their business. I am in a very quiet friendly neighbor hood.

About: Hello! My name is Sam and dogs have been my passion for as long as I can remember. I have been pet sitting since I was a teenager, and have always had a hand in caring for my family's pets. Within the last year I have had the opportunity to help whelp two litters of Bernese Mountain Dog puppies and it was one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. I love getting to know new dogs and cats, and have been known to leave my table at a restaurant to pet a dog I see through the window. I am the person at the party seeking out the pets so I can talk to them, rather than talk to the humans! I attend obedience classes with my own dogs weekly, and will be attending handling classes soon as well. Nothing brightens my day like being greeted by a dog, and getting to take care of them. We currently have three dogs and three cats in our home. Nothing is more important to me than your animal's comfort and safety.

About: Howdy! My name is Erin. I’ve been caring for animals for over 15 years now and have met some wonderful pets along the way. My main services on here are dog walking and drop-ins. I have experience with senior dogs, giving daily medication and assisting with mobility as needed. My goal is to make sure your dog or cat is well taken care of, they’re part of the family and I will do whatever I can to accomplish that. I also have a dog (Willow) and cat (Destri) of my own at home, who I will refer to as my fur babies. If your dog wants a companion on our walks, Willow would be more than happy to join us. About: I am a farrier (horseshoer) I’ve had rescue dogs all my life - I have chickens (pet) pigs cats and right now a 2 year old Airedale terrier who is amazing with other animals - my experience with horses has taught me so much about animal behavior and training my pups-I also have useful tips on training puppies So I’ve been a farrier for over 20 years now - I gave up 2/3 of my out of state travel to be able to be more involved with my children and family life - so I’m staying more local which gives me free time - I can be very attentive with my schedule to letting dogs out or play dates or watching them - my Airedale is very good with other dogs I don’t have a fenced in yard but I do live in the woods - my pets live a great life and like I said my family and I give a lot of attention

About: I have been taking care of pets since I was born with my first Golden Retriever “Missy”. My family has had a wide variety of animals from dogs and cats, to hamsters and bunnies, all the way to horses. I am often called on by my fiends to pet sit as I am known as the friend with a surplus of pets. I currently have a small dog named Munchie with many different health problems such as anxiety and epilepsy which gives me experience in caring for dogs with specific needs. I also currently have a large dog who is a Shepard, Boxer mix named Leo who gives me experience in caring for large dogs and their active and rambunctious needs. Along with my two dogs I have four cats who give me experience in the joy of caring for cats. As a pet owner I know the struggle of finding a good and trustworthy pet sitter. That is why I want to be able to be that pet sitter that will allow you to enjoy your vacation or go to work with the peace of mind knowing your pet is being taken care of. I am currently a student at Marist College in Poughkeepsie. Due to my class schedule I have blocks of time in which I am not in class or doing homework that I would love to be able to fill with hanging out with dogs:) Due to the fact that I am a college student I do not have the home environment to be able to care for your dog at my house. But I will give them the love and attention they need during my drop-in visits with lots of pets, playtime, walks and treats!

About: My husband and I have both grown up with dogs and cats. Together, we have owned an English bulldog and 2 chihuahuas. We love all dogs, especially puppies and small dogs. We are comfortable and able to handle typical puppy behavior, such as chewing, potty accidents, burning off high energy, etc. We have 4 girls that also love dogs and know how to treat dogs kindly and with respect. Your pet will receive lots of love, attention, snuggles, play time and walks. Because we believe puppies, like the older dogs, should be allowed to follow us around and not be restricted the majority of the time, our charge for puppies is a bit higher than our normal rate. This takes into account the need to watch them constantly. I currently stay at home. We run out for our kids activities, but other than that we are home most of the day. We are used to taking our chihuahua out for potty breaks multiple times a day. Our yard is also sprayed for ticks and mosquitoes to keep everyone safer. There are minimal steps to the outside area, and no steps in our home, which makes the perfect setting for senior dogs. We have a small fenced area in our yard that is perfect for small to medium sized dogs and puppies for quick potty breaks. We live in a low traffic rural neighborhood that is perfect for short and long walks. Besides needed potty breaks, we will take your pup out for a good walk in the morning and evenings and a shorter walk midday. We are also happy to adjust this to fit your pups normal routine. Your pup will also get lots of play time and snuggle time. Dogs being boarded in our home must be comfortable in a crate for the evenings and when we are out for short times during the day. This ensures the safety of your dog.
