“Josh has been amazing with our pups! We had an emergency and needed someone asap. Josh responded and accepted our request within minutes, for a next morning request. He took the time to learn each dog’s needs and is always very communicative during the visits. Our dogs are HUGEEEE, so it’s not easy to just trust anyone with them. I’d definitely recommend Josh to anyone and everyone. He’s our go to sitter!”

About: I started out pet and house sitting for friends and family in high school, and have done so on and off since. A few years ago I started using pet sitting to travel. That has been great! I can administer easy meds. I’ve trained all my dogs. I have a lot of patience and care animals of all kinds and personalities. Availability: I’m currently working remotely so my availability is pretty flexible, but also based around family, travel, etc. Please let me know what specific needs you and your pets have. I’m confident I can accommodate for most arrangements. For house sits I can come earlier, but for walks and drop in’s I’m available from 9 (maybe 8)am to 9pm Safety basics: Keeping food I myself would be tempted by, is always a good start! I can do dog cpr. I am comfortable giving most meds to most animals. My animals safety is of the utmost importance to me, and your pets will be the same. I will follow your rules, and go above and beyond to ensure their safety, comfort, and happiness- in and outside (where applicable) of the home.

“Marisa went above and beyond during her check-ins with our strong-minded Stella. She came the day before the first check-in to meet Stella and made a big effort to get to know her and connect with her. Stella now counts Marisa as one of her best people. We very much appreciated the pictures, videos and reports. It gave us peace of mind to enjoy our time away knowing Stella was happy and taken care of. We highly recommend Marisa and look forward to the next time.”

About: My husband and I recently returned from Costa Rica where we volunteered on a dog farm assisting with bathing, grooming and giving lots of love to almost 2,000 rescued dogs that live there. My husband also has a separate rover account under Maxi S. During my high school/college years my mother trained 5 different dogs for guiding eyes for the blind which I helped in the training process as well while home. I also started housesitting and caring for pets of local neighbors at the young age of 10. We have always had dogs in my home. I couldn’t imagine living without a dog. I have experience with dogs of all ages, puppies to senior dogs. I myself have a 9 year old cocker spaniel who thinks she is a human. I understand all pet owners and their pets have different needs and will respect any rules required to give your pet the care they need. I will treat your dog like my own. My family just returned from Costa Rica. My husband and I are both looking for flexible part time work which allow us to still care for our 1.5 year old son. You can also find my husbands separate rover account under maxi S. At the moment our schedule is open and flexible but as we find work our schedules will be changing depending. We have a good sized yard which is not fenced in but in a quiet neighborhood with a cul-de-sac. I don’t usually crate my dog, but if your dogs are crated I am familiar with crate training. I am a flexible person and am able to modify based on your pets needs.

About: Ever since college, I’ve enjoyed pet sitting small lap dog size to giant Great Danes. I first started to find a running buddy and then it turned into a fun job for me. It even helped me buy my wife her engagement ring! I own an aussiedoodle who is always active and have learned quite a bit through dog ownership. I’ve helped several folks nearby and in various cities and can provide references. I work as an at home teacher so my schedule is very flexible. I’m able to provide drop ins, dog walking, and house sit so your pets can feel safe in their space. I’m very good at following directions and leaving spaces the same if not better than I find them. I plan to communicate as often as requested and am willing to help with clean up.

About: I have worked at a doggie daycare for 4 years and dog sat for many years. I have two dogs of my own! I love all sizes/breeds! I have an open schedule so I have time to be able to spend some time with furry friends! I’ve always loved spending time with dogs and love them all as my own. Comfort, stress free, and loving environments is all I strive for! I am very knowledgeable on dog behavior and can pick up on social cues extremely well.

About: My name is Ashleigh! I’ve always had a love for animals of all different sizes and breeds and species. Dogs are my favorite. They genuinely make me feel better and I love seeing them happy and enjoy seeing them have fun. I’ve had experience with dogs since birth, honestly. My dad had a chow mix named Bear and I loved him so much. My family has always had a dog. I moved to Connecticut in 2011 and I moved in with my uncle who owned a German shepherd and I quickly fell in love with her. I took her for walks, fed her, took her to parks, etc. She quickly fell in love with all of the attention I gave her. My uncle now has 2 German shepherds that I go over and bathe and help take care of when he goes out. I have experience giving out medications to dogs as well. As my uncles first German shepherd needs medications for her hips daily. I would love to get to know your pup more! And help in any way I can! Thanks for reading 💜 I currently work full-time Monday-Friday. I’m available to care for your pet after work on the weekdays or fridays after 1 and Saturday and Sunday or on any major holiday! I have a fenced yard but it doesn’t enclose the whole yard. I live in a quiet neighborhood that is wonderful for walks. And my puppy would love to play with yours!

“I ABSOLUTELY love Christine! She came and took care of our cat Tuffy while she was sitting for our dog Enzo. You can see she loves animals, she keeps in contact so you never have to worry. Love her!”

Emily & Sarah W.
“Sarah and Emily are the most competent and caring pet caregivers I have experienced! They have cared for my 2 cats, Buddy and Peanut, on 4 separate occasions. We leave instructions and food out for them to make things easy and understandable, and each time, our cats are well cared for. We have a unique feeding situation as both cats have different anxiety and food needs, and they have been more than accommodating to this. I have been able to contact them for updates on our cats, as they are both rescues who are extremely anxious around strangers. I am met with understanding and compassion. They both ensure that Buddy and Peanut eat their food, are safe (as they are indoor only cats), and able to experience minimal anxiety. On multiple occasions, they have stayed for over an hour to wait for my cats to eat, as Peanut in particular is very anxious about eating. Overall, I trust no one else to care for my cats the way that Sarah and Emily have in the last couple of years!!”

Josh A.

He took the time to learn each dog’s needs and is always very communicative during the visits. Our dogs are HUGEEEE, so it’s not easy to just trust anyone with them. I’d definitely recommend Josh to anyone and everyone. He’s our go to sitter!”

Carolyn M.
“Carolyn (aka Lizzie) took care of our dogs for nearly a month, through a different platform. I was nervous just to be away from them and asked, what I considered to be a somewhat unreasonable request, to FaceTime with her and our pups a couple times. She loved that idea and encouraged me to do so as often as I would like. She is a pet lover through and through, you can just tell. Our dogs were happy and comfortable with her right away and so were my partner and I. She left our home cleaner than we did and is definitely our go to next time we need a sitter.”

Marisa a.

“Jeff was a terrific sitter. Always showed up on time, and he did a great job tiring out our pups. I’d happily book with him again.”

Katherine A.

“Kate was a great sitter and very well qualified, appreciated our Sammy, went above and beyond”

Theodora T.

“Thank you for checking in on Jimmy and taking good care of him!”

Arianna S.
“I have seen first hand how great of a caregiver Arianna is when taking care of pets. She goes above and beyond to ensure they are in the best care and not only are safe but having fun. She has done an excellent job when watching my 2 dogs and it’s a great feeling when I don’t have to be worried knowing they are in good hands. Arianna is a genuine and friendly dog sitter while also being professional. You want her to care for your pets!”

“Michelle was fantastic. We had a frantic schedule and Michelle helped us out in a pinch. My husband and I highly recommend her!! Our dogs love her as well.”
