“Jacob had great communication and took great care of our dogs. They seemed happy and relaxed during their stay and came home happy and tired. We are looking forward to using Jacob again!”

“We were so grateful to have our sweet Tybo in such great care! Terwrin was kind and communicated quickly with us to keep our minds at ease when it came to keeping our sweet boy while we went on spring break. We will definitely book again!”

“Belinda did a great job watching our dog Jack for a night, and I think he had a good time at her house. She has a very nice house and a nice yard for the dogs to play in.”

“Kenneth watched our pup, Onyx, in his home for 1 week. Kenneth was absolutely wonderful to work with! He took wonderful care of Onyx— so much so that we weren’t sure if Onyx would want to come home! Kenneth communicated with us frequently, sent photos and put our minds at ease while traveling! We can’t wait to work with Kenneth in the future!”

“Michael was absolutely amazing with our pups. Our last rover experience was not so pleasant but Michael quickly alleviated any worries. He was so good about sending us pictures every day and showered our babies with so much love. I will definitely be using Michael for our future trips.”

“Kristin was great with my dogs. She gave medicine for one and cooked them special foods that I brought. She sent pictures and videos and was very prompt with any questions/concerns I had. I’d definitely recommend Kristin for your pup!”

“Christina was absolutely amazing! This was my first time using Rover and I am so glad I did. Christina exceeded all of my expectations. She sent so many pictures and updates! So I never had to worry!! My dog played with friends, slept in the bed, got lots of treats, played with the kids, and snored on the couch! I think my pup forgot I was even gone! Highly recommend!”

“Finding Lindsey is the biggest blessing! I just moved to gulf shores with my puppy and have to go out of town to shoot weddings from time to time. I was so worried about leaving my fur baby in the right hands. Sandy (my dog) had so much fun at their BEAUTIFUL, spacious home that sits on so much land. She played in a sand pit and kiddie pool and I got updates all throughout the day of her having the time of her life. I don’t know what happened in those 3 days, but Sandy came back smarter than ever. She probably took some notes from their older dog Finn! Finn is Sandy’s first friend and I know she can’t wait to be reunited with him and Lindsey’s sweet family! Lindsey is really the best option for boarding.”

“Natalie took awesome care of our golden retriever! Her dog and our dog got along great. Overall A plus experience. Would recommend Natalie for any dog sitting situation.”

“Sue, Gary, and Newman were wonderful hosts for our chocolate lab, River. Newman and River were fast friends! We received many updates and photos and couldn’t have been more pleased with the care he received. Their home is set up perfectly for labs! Big backyard, a sandy area for digging. River was quite pleased! I think he was sad to leave them! We will definitely book with them again if we are in the area.”

About: Hi friends! Thanks for taking the time to read my bio. I'm here because I would LOVE to get some steps in with your fur baby! Or just chill and give them back scratches if thats their preference. I love all dogs, no matter their age or breed. Volunteering at shelters has been a hobby of mine since childhood. Ive been a dog walker for Wag! for years but am switching to Rover because the Wag app is terribly glitchy. My most recent adventure has been fostering shelter pups - we currently had a foster fail situation which is how I got my current fur child, Indie. I've always adopted shelter dogs; to include labs, pitbulls, mixed breeds, and now a goldendoodle! I joined Rover in hopes of doing it more because I enjoy helping busy people take care of their precious pups. I'm a FOND believer of spoiling your pets. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions about my knowledge or experience. :) I'm currently in between jobs and have LOTS of time to love on your precious fur baby. Let's schedule some time together and make some memories! I'm in a 2 bedroom apartment with a friendly goldendoodle to keep your pup company. Our days consist of many walks, and going to the dog park. We have one in the complex but I also enjoy going to the city parks. I am happy to let your baby sleep in the bed with me or I can crate them. Whatever your preference is, let's talk about it.
“Taylor and her husband were amazing! They were very knowledgeable about dogs and helped ease my worry of letting my dogs stay with someone I didn’t know. definitely will be using them again in the future!”

“Our first time at a doggy VRBO. Kerry & Kim were very friendly and loving to our elderly pup. We will definitely us their services again, should the opportunity arise. Big backyard and friendly home environment. No kennels. Kent Wilkinson”

“We hadn't been anywhere in several years because of Covid, so our two senior dogs not only had all the eccentricities that old dogs develop, but the anxiety of being away from home and us for the first time in years. And because of that, we had our own separation anxiety. But Jana was just simply terrific. Sweet and kind to our little old guys, very attentive to their needs and ours as well, sending us photos and updates to let us know they were in good hands. It was very telling how mellow they were we picked them up, and how attached they'd become to her. We could not give her a higher recommendation ... and our dogs still miss her. Thumbs up all the way. Really great sitter.”
“Jennifer is the BEST!! She loved our pup like her own for a long 9 day stay! We got updates multiple times a day and I think Harper was sad to leave her! We won’t be sending her to anyone else!”

“Elaine was the best dog sitter we’ve ever had the pleasure of working with! While we were out of town, she made sure to send consistent, entertaining updates about our sweet Daisy girl. We thoroughly appreciate the amount of love that you have for what you do, Elaine! We’ll see you again in a few months!!”

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in AL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
