“Tiffany is a pet care pro! I appreciate how she handled everything from the initial meet and greet, to how much communication and pictures I received the entire time my dog was there. I felt that I could reach out at any time if I felt concerned but I actually never needed to ;) And most importantly, he came back home healthy and happy! Many thanks to Tiffany, her home and family, and to the other good dogs for a great boarding stay!”

“Michael was a wonderful sitter for our Billie Jean. He is a great communicator who cared about keeping her both safe AND happy. She had a wonderful time. I highly recommend!!”

“This was my first time boarding Freyja, and I was nervous about leaving her with someone she didn’t know. Angelle has a lot of experience with dogs and handled Freyja’s high energy really well. She sent me pictures during her stay, which helped put my mind at ease. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would feel comfortable having Angelle watch Freyja again!”

“Thank you Cale for taking such great care of King and Star! I appreciate the daily photos and updates to let me know how the day went. I also appreciate all the love and care that you provided to my dogs while I was away.”

“This was our first time using this service and our first time leaving our pet with someone other than friends or family. Jesse made us feel comfortable and took such great care of our Moogie! Will definitely be using his services again in the future!”

“I can't say thank you enough! Emily and Dean took good care of my senior dog while I got to have a much needed vacation and were even flexible to extend when trip complications arose. Communication was great and Bentley clearly enjoyed his time with their dogs. This was my first experience with Rover and having someone I didn't know take care of him. I was incredibly nervous but he was in good hands. I would definitely book with them again in the future!”

“Oh my gosh! We are so excited that we found Lauren! Not only is she a trained vet tech, but she was so kind and loving to our senior doggie! Our dog was happy to see us but without that “get me outta here” panic look!. Plus she is super responsive, smart, thorough, responsible, thoughtful and just all around sweet. We hope she continues providing boarding for dogs for a long while! Thanks, Lauren!”

“Kevin provided great care to our Chopper. She loved her visit so much that she was disappointed to come home. We always appreciate Kevin watching Anubis and now Chopper. Thank you for the great visit.”

“Rhonda is amazing with my timid girl! This is our second stay and our pup was so happy with Rhonda and her sweet dog Brodie. Communication was great with updates and pictures. I couldn’t be more pleased with the care our girl received.”

“Darby had wonderful attention to detail and quick communication. She lives a small farm and allowed our Daisy to "choose her own adventure", which of course our pup loved! I would definitely recommend and would trust Darby with Daisy again.”

“Jordyn was awesome with our little fur baby girl. Jordyn followed instructions that we had, and gave us daily text updates on her progress. We missed our fur baby while we were gone, but weren't worried because we knew she was in good hands. We will use Jordyn's services next time, whenever necessary. Thanks Jordyn!”

“Lisa was fantastic! Her communication was great well she had our dog over thanksgiving week and we were able to relax and enjoy family on our trip knowing that our Cierra was being well taken care of.. we will definitely use Lisa again!”

“Ryan was a fantastic sitter for our Bailee. We felt very comfortable with leaving her with him and his family. I loved how he said “he was honored to keep her”. We would definitely use him again.”

“John was great with our shy pup, Bear. The photos and updates were wonderful. He was very easy to communicate with, friendly, and immediately put me at ease knowing he’s a long-time dog person. Our pup was exhausted when we got home so he got plenty of walks and all the fetch he could have wanted. I will gladly reach out to John again in the future!”

“Jamie is an amazing sitter! She was professional and caring from the very first contact. Our dog came home tired and happy and that’s all we could have asked for. We would highly recommend Jamie and will be using her again in the future!”

“Took great care of our pup, took her hiking, and were great at proving daily updates and expressing any concerns. we will happily reach out in the future when we need further boarding assistance!”
About: I am currently a graduate student for nursing and want to get a pet of my own but want to wait until I finish school. So walking other people's dogs and pet sitting is the next best thing! I grew up with pets and have been dog sitting/house sitting since high school, including house sitting for my sports coach. Looking forward to meeting your pets! I work four ten hour shifts so I am only available on Wednesdays or on the weekends. I am not available M, T, Th, or Fri I am very cautious when taking dogs on walks. I always avoid interactions with other dogs to protect the dogs I am walking. Interactions between dogs can vary and I'd rather keep the dogs safe.

“Cooper was relaxed and happy while staying with Bobbi and her family. They treated him like their own dog and made him comfortable in their home. I would definitely use them again when needed. They are close to I-5 which made convenient drop off and pick up.”

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, daily exercise may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Greenwood home-away-from-home, packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Greenwood.
Tip: You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your Greenwood sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in WA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
