About: My name is Kaitlyn, and I'm a dog trainer in the Grays Harbor area. I have been successfully working with owners to rehabilitate fearful and/or reactive dogs for almost a decade now. I have also been a competitive dog agility instructor for 7 years. My own dog is Oakley, a Miniature American Shepherd, and he helps me with fearful or reactive dog clients by being a neutral dog with great communication skills. Before becoming a dog trainer full time, I worked at a dog daycare in Mukilteo for 3 years. It was a great experience and gave me a lot of knowledge about dog behavior and handling large groups of dogs. I compete in seven different dog sports with my own dogs, but we love agility and flyball most. I am available whenever I'm not already teaching classes or at a competition. Scheduling is open as we just moved to the new area from Seattle. I am experienced with dogs who are difficult or nervous around strangers. I use scientifically backed, LIMA guided dog training to guide dogs through their feelings as gently as I am capable while accomplishing learning. In any case, I like to engage with dogs in a way that's most comfortable for them. Each dog is different! I am not comfortable taking unfamiliar dogs off leash outside of the home or yard for safety reasons, but I am happy to work on this skill with them if requested!

About: I have 3 dogs of my own; my old man toy poodle Chai, big baby Baxter, and sweet lil mama Maisie! All of them are non aggressive, and love new friends. My husband is military, so as we travel, I have worked on rescuing and rehabilitating animals in need. About: Ever since I can remember I have adored animals. I have always been the person who would go over to a friend's house and end up sitting by their pet the whole time! When I became old enough, I started volunteering at my local animal shelter and pet sitting as much as I could. At the shelter, I walked dogs, spent time playing with cats and kittens, and helped clean kennels and cages. I have also worked at a doggy daycare where I was around both large and small dog breeds. In the other hand, Kai is a medium size old doggy, he gets very excited with new pets but a few minutes later he just ignore them and likes to go back to take long naps on the couch. I have 2 friendly indoor cats, they mostly spend the day sleeping inside the bedroom or playing with the dogs from time to time.

Being in the position of needing pet care myself at times, I know how important it is to be confident in your sitter. I currently work from home a majority of the time. I go into the office just 2 days a month. On the days that I go into work I will come home halfway through the day to check on your pets that I’m watching. Weekends are usually spent taking the dogs for daily outings. I can provide the importance of a 3/4 fenced in yard. I have multiple long cables and leads that can be attached to your dog’s harness if they need a little more assurance of not escaping. When I was young I had a car, a shitzu dog another dog I can’t remember the breed, a Rottweiler shepherd mix, and full German shepherd. I currently have 2 black lab hound mixes! I absolutely love and adore animals! This will be my job and I love being around dogs of all kind! I would be honored to house sit take your dog on a walk or even just drop by for a potty break! I am happy to help families beyond the radius I have set on rover however I do charge a gas fee of $20 + for locations more than 20 minutes from me. My work schedule is flexible. I work from home 4 days a week (tues-fri). I am able to step away when needed for walks/potty breaks. I will follow your directions and pet needs. I have a reliable vehicle to get to your home. I am happy to collect mail, packages, water plants, taking out trash and any other miscellaneous tasks. I am happy to provide status updates and pictures.

About: My name is Kaitlyn, and I'm a dog trainer in the Grays Harbor area. I have been successfully working with owners to rehabilitate fearful and/or reactive dogs for almost a decade now. I have also been a competitive dog agility instructor for 7 years. My own dog is Oakley, a Miniature American Shepherd, and he helps me with fearful or reactive dog clients by being a neutral dog with great communication skills. Before becoming a dog trainer full time, I worked at a dog daycare in Mukilteo for 3 years. It was a great experience and gave me a lot of knowledge about dog behavior and handling large groups of dogs. I compete in seven different dog sports with my own dogs, but we love agility and flyball most. I am available whenever I'm not already teaching classes or at a competition. Scheduling is open as we just moved to the new area from Seattle. I am experienced with dogs who are difficult or nervous around strangers. I use scientifically backed, LIMA guided dog training to guide dogs through their feelings as gently as I am capable while accomplishing learning. In any case, I like to engage with dogs in a way that's most comfortable for them. Each dog is different! I am not comfortable taking unfamiliar dogs off leash outside of the home or yard for safety reasons, but I am happy to work on this skill with them if requested!
About: I’ve taken care of cats, I have 2 cats as well! While I was in college my roommates had dogs that I would watch when they would leave or couldn’t come home in time. I’m good with both both cats and dogs. Im currently working part time, I don’t think pet sitting is a job it’s so fun to do so I would love it as a side job. About: Ever since I can remember I have adored animals. I have always been the person who would go over to a friend's house and end up sitting by their pet the whole time! When I became old enough, I started volunteering at my local animal shelter and pet sitting as much as I could. At the shelter, I walked dogs, spent time playing with cats and kittens, and helped clean kennels and cages. I have also worked at a doggy daycare where I was around both large and small dog breeds. I had a senior dog of nearly 16 years who just passed away due to cancer so I have experience caring for senior dogs all the way to their end of life. I also have a rabbit who has had lots of health issues, so I am condfident with syringe feeding and administering medications. I am currently unemployed, though I do have potential offers in the works, so for now I have full availability! I will update my availability as it changes. Due to having a free roam rabbit, I am unable to offer boarding at this time. However, I will provide any sort of care necessary for your pets in your homes! I am very good at following directions if you have a list for me, but I am also good at just knowing what goes into caring for pets, such as watching for potty cues and noticing when they need mental or physical stimulation.

About: I have been surrounded by dogs since childhood, thanks to my family who taught me that a dog can be a human's best friend. This has instilled in me a strong sense of responsibility for their needs and care and overall a happy dog. over the years I have also enjoyed cat-sitting for friends and family as well. I currently work as a youth care coordinator and work Monday-Friday but hours vary on the day. I would be happy to accommodate most days however and am pretty flexible, as you need. Please let me know or give me a heads-up so we can work something out! My home features a fenced backyard and a 4-year-old fur baby who loves to run and play. I have done leash training before with my last dog, so if my client does not have a backyard, it is not a problem for me to take them outside. Therefore, I love being outdoors and enjoy walking through the neighborhood or trails. There are a few by my house as well.
