“Our first experience with rover and it couldn't have gone better. Thanks to Bethany and her family. They took care of our sweet little girl and sent us all kinds of pictures. We will be her again ! Thanks Bethany!”

“I am so grateful for Tiffany watching our furbaby, our pearl always enjoys her social life with the other dogs that come and go. She smells wonderful, Thanks for everything 💕”

“Jerrie was awesome! We booked her for an extended weekend at the very very last minute (might have even been same day). She took all 3 of my little chaos causers and sent soooooo many photos. This was our first time leaving our newest addition and Jerrie really eased my mind with regular updates and quick communication. I accidentally misbooked and needed to add an extra day, Jerrie was very accommodating. I’m pretty sure our pups had a blast. Will absolutely book again. She has a huge fully fenced yard and there was a good handful of playmates for our babies this weekend. We’re so happy with this service.”

“Juniper and Jasper have stayed with Connie many times over the last 6 months. They are always happy and excited to see her which tells me they are well loved and taken care of when I am gone.”

“Jesse was fantastic with our dogs, Storm and Trooper. From the start he was easy to reach and quick to respond to every message, which made booking and drop-off completely stress-free on our end. Throughout the stay he sent regular photo updates, so we always had a good sense of how the dogs were doing and could see for ourselves that they were comfortable and settled in. When we picked them up, both dogs were happy, relaxed, and showed zero signs of stress or anxiety, which says a lot about the environment Jesse creates. You can tell he genuinely cares about the dogs he watches, not just checking a box. Communication, reliability, and how our dogs came back are the three things we care about most with any boarder, and Jesse delivered on all three. Highly recommend Jesse if you want someone who treats your dogs like his own. We'll be booking with him again”

“People say they love animals, but not everyone truly does! I believe Kimberly truly loves animals. I feel she treated my puppies like they were hers. I am fairly new to leaving my girls with a sitter, Kimberly put my mind at ease. She sent a lot of updates and pictures, which I really appreciated. I will have Kimberly watch Thelma and Louise anytime I need a sitter again.”

“Highly recommend. They have a beautiful home with a nice, spacious backyard. Marianne and Josh are kind and have a lot of experience with dogs. With two sweet dogs of their own, my dog had built in companions while I was away. They are warm, welcoming, and sent lots of cute/funny pics & updates. Your dogs will be loved open arms. So grateful my dog could spend the holiday with such a thoughtful, warm, and fun family! Thank you so much for loving Chai!”
“Annmarie took wonderful care of our dog. We received several photos, videos, and other updates during our dog's stay. I also appreciated that she took the time to meet our dog before our trip”

“David was great with my emotionally needy pup and clearly understood dog dynamics. Seeing Delta and another dog snuggle up together was not something I had expected to see pictures of, but she seemed to do well when left with a stranger for a week.”

“Absolutely amazing! I have never left my dog with another person who is not family before, and I was honestly a nervous wreck coming up to my trip. However Leanne was an absolute god send. I got updates with pictures as often as I liked, my dog got to tag along on hikes & picnics, and I felt 100% at ease. My Karma was taken care of like royalty & I would recommend Leanne to everybody! 500 stars ⭐️ 10,000% would book again ❤️.”

“Our two pups just completed their first stay with Deidre and we couldn’t be happier on the care they received and the communication she had with us. We hope that she will have the availability to care from them in the near future but anticipate that she will grow in popularity due to her 1st class service!”

“Desiree is the best! Josie Jo had such a good time there and felt very comfortable. Desiree sent photos and videos to that made me feel so good seeing Josie having fun. Josie got lots of love and attention and SO appreciated the love and care she got at Desiree’s. I will definitely use Desiree again!!”

“Lauren is the absolute gold standard in pet care. She exceeded every single expectation I thought I could have when it came to someone other than myself caring for my dog. Her communication is top notch from booking to pick up. She is extremely thorough on intake which I appreciated so much! I knew just how much care would be going in to caring for my dog while being away for over 2 weeks. She takes her responsibility for your pet seriously and makes every effort to make your dogs stay comfortable. I cannot recommend her highly enough. We will absolutely be booking with her again!”

“This is our 3rd time leaving Zoey with Jennifer and I truly could not say enough positive things. Zoey always comes home happy, tired and clearly well cared for! Jennifer's entire family is so sweet to our girl and we are happy to have found someone trustworthy and reliable.”

About: I am new to Rover, but have worked in the Animal Health Industry as a Veterinarian Technician (animal nurse) and outside sales/customer service for the past 30+ years. Along with the background check Rover provides, I also have a Business License and I am Insured/Bonded. Animal care is my only business/job. I have experience with most animals from reptiles to cattle and currently have a little 5 acre hobby farm with a horse, goats, chickens, dog and cat. I have also done fostering in my local community. I am very flexible with days you need pet care. My days are filled with animal care of my own/yours, walking/hiking, gardening and home/property projects. Your pets will be treated with great care while spending time with me. I have a gated 5 acre hobby farm with 1 acre fully fenced area around my home. My farm animals are fenced in separately for safety. I also have 3 acres of wooded trails for walking. I am able to provide care and exercise depending on your pets needs and will only accept dogs that are not aggressive towards people or other dogs for a positive/fun experience. There are two large porches for either sunning or shade and I do have air conditioning. Please be up to date on vaccinations (including kennel cough), worming and monthly flea control. I live in a quiet/peaceful valley. Please no excessive barkers and bring their food, treats and special toys. I only take up to 3 dogs at a time. I prefer same family but may be a bit of an overlap at times. Please allow enough time for a 1st time meet and greet prior to finalizing the booking. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family!
“Erica was amazing and came through for a very minute request for a weeklong stay for my dog Luna. She was incredibly caring and responsive and Luna had an amazing time! Would use again in a heartbeat.”

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in WA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
