About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life and genuinely love getting to know each one’s personality. I grew up with a dachshund for nearly 14 years, which taught me the responsibility and consistency that great pet care requires. As I got older, my dad and I also hosted dogs through Rover in our home, so I’m very familiar with caring for dogs in a home environment, helping them adjust to new spaces, and keeping them comfortable while their owners are away. I also have hands-on experience working in a dog daycare, where I supervised playgroups of 20+ dogs at a time. I managed group dynamics, kept play safe and positive, handled feeding routines, cleaned up after dogs, and moved them between spaces. That experience made me very confident in reading dog body language and stepping in early to keep things fun and safe. I’m active and love walks, playtime, and just hanging out with dogs. Whether your pup wants to run around or relax and get attention, I’m happy to match their energy. I also love sending photo updates so you can see how they’re doing! I’m a CMU student who loves spending time with animals outside of class. My schedule allows me to be available throughout the week and on weekends for walks, drop-ins, and house sitting. I’m happy to work with your pet’s routine and will make sure they get plenty of attention, exercise, and care while you’re away. Your dog’s safety and comfort always come first. I pay close attention to behavior and surroundings, so I can keep things safe, calm, and positive. On walks, I stay aware of other dogs, people, and anything that might be stressful or overstimulating. During home visits, I stick closely to your dog’s routine so they feel comfortable and secure. Because of my daycare experience, I’m confident handling multiple dogs, recognizing early signs of stress, and adjusting quickly to prevent issues. About: Hi! I'm Tara. I'm a 44 year old dog/plant-lover originally from Pittsburgh. I live with a beautiful 10 year old 101lb. pup named Joe that I take care of everyday for the past 3 years. Maybe, you've seen us around! I have experience with dogs of all ages. I can follow an outline of your preferred routine for your loved one or create one, if you'd prefer. The dog is welcome to sleep with me on overnight stays, if you'd like. With me, your pet will be safe and well-cared for while you're away. Available for quick drop-ins, as well! I'm comfortable with giving Joe medicine, brushings, baths, nail-clippings, and tooth-brushings. I have great references from people that have left me in the care of their dog while away on vacation. Each dog was in my care for a week at my home and sent home happy. Prior to those sits, I lived with a roommate's dog for a couple of years. Currently I cannot host, but I am happy to come to you! We have a 10 year old 101lb Weimaraner/Pit mix named Joe Biden. He's patiently taken out several times throughout the day starting in the morning. He's fed 3 times per day with treats and snuggles in-between, of course. I WFH, so I'm with him all day. I'm more than happy to follow you and your pet's specific schedule. When pet-sitting, I take them out 4-5 times/day and try to give them a set of different routes to sniff in order to keep life exciting for them. However, a specific route will definitely be honored. I make sure that they are entertained and feel loved throughout the day.

About: Hi there! I have about 3 years of experience caring for pets for family. I regularly cared for my sister’s dog Titan while living in Virginia. I enjoy taking dogs on walks, runs, and trips to the park while always keeping their safety and comfort in mind. I am responsible with feeding schedules, cleaning up after them, giving them attention, and making sure they eat properly. I treat every pet with patience and care and will keep owners updated while their pet is with me. I’m currently waiting for my new job to begin, so I have a very flexible schedule and can accommodate a wide range of dates and times. I’m happy to follow your dog’s normal routine, including walks, feeding times, playtime, bathroom breaks, and plenty of companionship. I’ll make sure your pet feels comfortable, cared for, and never overlooked while they’re with me. About: I have had 3 dogs of my own! An Australian Cattle Dog Mix, a Basenji mix, and a working line large breed German Shepherd, which I helped train in obedience to be an SD. My dogs always had scheduled potty breaks and playtime. My job is to make sure your pet has the best time while keeping boundaries/respecting their space, ensuring their safety, and following your expectations of care. I am comfortable with any amount of shedding and the size of your pet. I can especially ease my interaction with pets that are scared and anxious, as through training my own dog, I am better at picking up the dog’s body language and only engage in physical contact if the pet’s body language consents. If you have an aggressive pet, please notify me beforehand. I do not guarantee I will agree to care for them, but I am interested in scheduling a first meeting if possible. Note: I do not drink/smoke, so your loved one will never be affected by second-hand smoke or inappropriate behavior. I am very available on the weekends and by the afternoon on weekdays. If you need morning care, please reach out and I will see if I can accommodate! My pets are routinely groomed and freshened. Everytime they come inside after heavy play, I clean their body from head to toe with pet friendly wipes. I use a brush that helps with shedding and smoothing out hair. Their teeth gets brushed every 2 weeks. I check their ears for dirt routinely and the inside of their paws for any injuries or cracking from dryness.
