Kristina watched Murray for six days & five nights (while Fletcher had a different dog-sitting gig). Kristina made sure Murray’s daily routine of exercise, playtime, and being brushed didn’t miss a beat. She also kept his anxiety in check (which isn’t easy!) by being with him as much as she could. We know all that, in part, because when we returned home from our trip, Murray had plenty of licking kisses for Kristina before she left. Kristina also thoughtfully stayed in touch with us during our time away by providing daily updates & pics. She even went above & beyond what would be expected of a house sitter by going into our creepy unfinished basement at one point and climbing on a ladder to shut off a water valve to a leaking outside faucet. We returned to our clean home just as we left it, with the dishwasher run. We will happily use Kristina again (& Fletcher, too, who we met during a meet & greet and is clearly a conscientious dog lover)!”

About: I have always been around dogs. I grew up with multiple medium-sized dogs and have pet sat for five family friends. This included popping in to walk them and also overnight stays that lasted up to two weeks. Over the summer, I am available to house sit anytime, but I do work a 9-5 job. I can also walk your dog in the evening and on weekends. I look forward to working with you! During the school year, I am a full-time Master's student at Pitt, so in between my classes I am able to take care of your pets! I have pretty open availability outside of my class schedule. I will follow your instructions on how you want me to care for your pets. I typically let them roam as they please and play with them as much as they like.

Great with meds and teaching some techniques, my family calls me "the pet whisperer." I'm a freelance artist and delivery driver, I typically work Friday, Saturday and Sundays. Plenty of time during the other weekdays to check on dogs and kitties. I lived with my mum, she has 3 cats, I fed, bathed, medicated them and cleaned their litter boxes when i lived there. I'm not in a place where I can board furry creatures, unless it is a small reptile with secure nesting box, the reptile room is secure and quiet.
