About: I have a lifetime of experience of taking care of dogs, but I also started volunteering at a local animal shelter when I was about 10 years old, where I gained experience interacting with dogs of many different breeds, sizes, and personalities. I have provided daily care with dogs ranging from 15 pounds to 110 pounds and am comfortable providing attentive and loving care to dogs of any breed. I’m currently working a summer job that allows me to be flexible and change my scheduling around a little bit. In the fall, I am starting classes for college and plan on working as a CNA part-time, mostly on my days off from class which is Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. I own a small business so I am able to make my own schedule if it’s at least a month out. If I do have events then I’ll be gone 4-6 hours max. A little about me--I have had a love for animals since I was young, and I find that I have always felt most at home surrounded by our furry, four-footed family over the years. We have had animals all my life, and we have raised several breeds of dogs including Dalmatian, Cocker Spaniel, Blue and Red Heelers, Australian Shepherd, Border Collie, Boxer, Standard Poodles, Great Pyranees, and many more loveable mixed breeds. I have taken care of dogs and puppies since I was 5 years old. They were always like family to me, and I have many years of experience of their care and basic command training for puppies using positive reinforcement. I have experience caring for sick and senior dogs as well as every canine that has come into our family has found their forever home and lived out their fullest lives possible. If your pup needs some freshening up, a haircut, or a pedicure, I can help with that. I am a professional pet stylist and member of the NDGAA. I have continued education through NDGAA workshops and worked full-time at a pet salon for a few years while also grooming my own dogs, Standard Poodles, their whole lives (14 years.) I can bathe or groom your dog or trim their nails if needed. I currently work part-time, and I have quite a bit of extra time to care for your pups and kitties. Wednesdays and Sundays are our busiest days, so I will not be able to offer pickup on those days, but the other days are open. I have a fenced yard, and I will leash your dog on walks for extra care. They are free to be downstairs in my home with me and our family, and I will kennel for their safety when and if we leave the home for short errands. For pet care in their home, I can take on walks, let outside into fenced yard, feed, water, and bathe/groom the dogs or trim nails if needed. I also have trained several puppies basic commands using clicker-training and positive reinforcement.
