About: I’ve been an animal lover since a kid, and am excited to care for your pet! I’m a grad student in MD and am a proud pet parent of 2 Yorkie-mix dogs. I have experience with pet feeding, long walks, and fun playtime. I’m also comfortable administering medications and caring for dogs of all sizes. My husband and I are fairly flexible, and I often work from home. We have a large backyard where your dog(s) can safely play and enjoy the outdoors. I’m a grad student who has a very flexible schedule. I walk the dogs around 7:30am, brush their teeth, and set out their food. I also go on midday walks so they are mentally and physically stimulated. My husband takes the dogs out for long walks in the evenings as well. We are happy to include your pets into this schedule or add any additional care into this routine per your request and/or according to your pet’s needs. I have a large yard and 2 lovable pups that can keep your dog(s) company. We go on frequent walks and bathroom breaks around our quiet neighborhood and have tons of play space around the house. I am happy to honor any requests to care for one family’s pets at a time, and will absolutely treat your pet(s) as if they were my own.

“Samantha is amazing with Dallas! He loves seeing her for his mid day break when I'm not home. Thank you for always providing such care for him.. love the updates during the day.”

About: I love all kinds of pets, and can get along with all pet personalities. I care for two cats and have experience with small to medium-large sized dogs. I do well with animals that are used to routine, including senior pets. I work part-time on commission so my schedule is flexible to accommodate any kinds of pet care. As an active person, walking pets or entertaining them inside the house is one of my favorite parts of pet care. Your pet knows your home best, and I work best when pets are as relaxed as possible. Always attentive to your pet 's needs and always keeping a watchful eye on them.

“Pepper has enjoyed her stays with Nasheia and Nina so much that we have made it a weekly thing. With other sitters I would drop pepper off and she would run back to me to pick her up and not want to leave. As soon as Pepper saw Nina she forgot all about me. She comes home happy and tired from all her playing.”

About: I have had pets all my life and love spending time with them. Whether your pet is one who needs lots of attention and play time or is a couch potato and cuddler, I'm the sitter for you! If your fur baby is highly active, I can take them for long trail walks or visits to a park to play fetch and if that doesn't sound like your pet, we can do short walks just to get the blood flowing and answer nature's call. I also have experience caring for senior dogs and those with arthritis and mobility issues. I have had great success in helping these dogs improve their comfort through daily, short, walks that we would gradually increased as they regained their strength and energy from this physical activity. I'm currently between jobs so I have plenty of time to care for your little friends. I'm available any day of the week, so reach out ahead of time and let's get you scheduled! :) My apartment complex is fully gated and if your dog wants to run off-leash we have a very large, gated dog park as well! The dog park is so large that it can be sectioned off into two separate parks to accommodate pets that are anxious around, or don't get along well with, other dogs!

About: Previous vet's assistant that loves pets and has the experience to take care of them. I may not be a vet, but I know how to give them their meds, insulin included. I know how to monitor them for emergencies and know the signs for when they need to be taken to the vet. I am knowledgeable in food allergies and follow your strict guidelines when you lay them out, because I have them for my own pet. I also like taking my nephew, my sister's dog, to the dog park so he can enjoy his zoomies. Or if they like to swim, I can take them to the dog beach if you give me permission. If your pet and I mesh when we do our first meet up, then you can know that I'll do my best to have them enjoy their stay with me. I do work part-time at the moment, but my current schedule has me working early shifts that start at around 4am and usually have me home anywhere between 12pm and 3pm. So, I have the rest of the day to do things and my weekends are free. I do not have a yard, but when I walk my dog around the area of my complex there is a lot of grass and I never walk off of leash. If the owner's give me permission, I would take their dog's to dog park's and only have the dog's off leash in permitted, gated areas.

About: I am a lifetime animal lover with 5+ years of experience taking care of my own dogs and am ready to treat your pets like family! My husband was raised with dogs and through his life has helped with numerous from puppyhood to old age. Additionally, we have taken training courses in obedience by positive reinforcement and reactivity to be better prepared to care for pets. I am also in the medical field and believe these skills transfer well into caring for your pet if they have any medical conditions. Offering pickup and drop off for boarding, please message if interested! First time booking through Rover? Ask me about my promo code for $20 off. Pet care for us is 24/7 365 days a year, as we have two dogs of our own! We are young professionals gone during some days during working hours, so our dogs can be left alone from 7:30-4 pm depending on schedules. We usually let the dogs out for about half an hour of play time prior to work and then (weather permitting) have them out all evening playing in the yard. Having just moved from the city, we know the struggle of finding a big enough space for your pup to play. We have a large fenced in yard perfect for getting out energy. We also have multiple walking trails and fields in the area. Our home is large enough where we can separate dogs inside and give them their own space to relax if we sense they are needing a break. Our home also comes with dog toys of all kinds and lots of cuddles and love!

About: Love dogs and they love me! I've gone to dog parks before and had other people's dogs jump onto my lap! Genuinely enjoy being with and taking care of all the dogs. I have an odd schedule and will be available for 3-4 days at a time in a row. Will need to check my calendar for actual availability. Meet them where they want me to. Some dogs are territorial or take a while to warm up to you so I don't rush things. Bubbly/friendly dogs are easy, individualistic dogs are more challenging and take time to approach and get to know.

“Juranne was great! Came over and let our pups out, fed them, and came back to let them out again a couple more times. She sent some pictures and gave them some love. She also gave our fish pond a little food and checked on our parrot. Thank you Juranne.”
