“Akemi was great. She went above and beyond. Concerned that the cats were acting out because of our absence, she dropped by more frequently on her own without any need for increased payment. The cats warmed up to her fast and were very responsive to her attention. She sent a variety of photos that comforted our family while away. We were sure she was taking great care of the cats. Her reporting was detailed and, as mentioned before, she performed far above and beyond expectations, which were already high. We are very grateful for Akemi and the awesome care she gave to our cats and family!”

About: I have always had love and compassion for all animals. However, after caring for my beloved Dreamy I new that caring for dogs was my passion and I wanted to share it with others. Friends and family have entrusted to me to care for their four legged family members from puppies to seniors . Unfortunately, I am not on-site during traditional weekday work hours. If you decide you would like to entrust me with caring for your fur baby you can be assured that I will take all necessary measures to assure their safety and comfort in my absence. I am on-site evenings, weekends and most goverment holidays. I have a pretty flexible personal schedule as well, with few obligations. There are no children or other pets in my home so your baby will get my undivided attention. I have a fenced backyard where we can play and the babies can get plenty of exercise. I am an active person and love to have the babies accompany me on walks, visits, and errands.

The kennel that we had arranged boarding for our doodle cancelled as we were just about to get on the road for a trip out of town and our hotel reservations were non-refundable. Having never met us before, she responded almost immediately to my booking request and showed up at our home about a half hour later to meet our doggo even though she had other visits on her schedule that evening. She is very personable and our dog warmed up to her instantly. She sent detailed updates with multiple photos throughout the weekend, and even included our young cats in some pics though she wasn’t responsible to look after them. I currently work a standard 9-to-5 schedule, making me the perfect fit for dedicated overnight house sitting, early morning walks, and evening/weekend care. Because of my kennel background, I am trained in reading dog behavior, managing multi-dog households, and safely administering medications while keeping your home structured and safe I work a traditional 9-to-5 job Monday through Friday, which makes my schedule perfectly tailored for dedicated overnight house sitting where your dog gets undivided attention all evening and night. I am also fully available for drop-ins and walks early in the morning before work, anytime after 5:30 PM on weeknights, and completely open all day on weekends. I always put safety first, but I prefer to keep things relaxed and low-stress for your pup. Having spent a few years working in a boarding facility, I am really comfortable reading dog body language and knowing how to handle different temperaments or unexpected situations calmly. I treat every home I visit with a ton of respect, and since I work a steady 9-to-5, my routine is super predictable. I stick strictly to whatever feeding, medication, or locking routines you already have in place so your dog's schedule doesn't skip a beat.

About: Aside from my two childhood dogs, I have taken care of too many dogs to count. Whether it be neighbors, friends, or acquaintances I have walked, boarded, and taken care of every dog entrusted to me with upmost care. I have also been a bodybuilder/lifter for nearly four years and can handle very large and strong dogs. As a fun story: I once trudged through a blizzard to take care of one when the roads were covered in nearly two feet of snow. I am available pretty much every morning beginning around 7:30 till 12, and then every evening from 5-8. I am also able to stay overnight for overnight care if needed. While I cannot offer boarding at my home since I don’t live alone, I can make sure that your dog is well-taken care of at yours if needed. Everything from the basics like providing water, cleaning up after accidents, feeding, walking, providing medicine (although I can learn, diabetic or other injection-based medicine is not something I can do right now), and showing your dog the most love is what I can do.

About: I’ve always had a dog in my home growing up, I even trained my family’s current household dog, a German Shepherd, when she was a puppy. I have experience pet sitting all shapes and sizes of dogs but have more experience in medium-large sized breeds, I love them all! I’m currently not working as I’m finishing up my EMT academy/certification while also in school full time. I’m using this as income for the time being. Unfortunately with my grumpy cat I am not able to board pets in my home but am more than willing to stop by and visit your fur baby when needed!

About: I have had dogs since I was a young kid and now have one of my own. Over the years I have trained her to do some tricks (minimal!) and she is a very well behaved dog. I have a remote-work schedule leaving flexibility to walk, play, cuddle, and care for your dog. This schedule leaves extra time in my routine to care for another animal and share the love I have for animals. I’m currently working remotely and have time throughout my day to check in on your pet. I am available to come anytime throughout the day. I live in an apartment complex so have the common spaces to walk your dog throughout. I will follow any instructions you provide me for where your pet feels most comfortable in your home/neighborhood.

About: Dogs are treated like family and ,quite honestly, like sweet babies in my household. My roommate and I both have animal experience and adore fury friends. I do have my own 42lb dog as well, so I am only accepting dogs that can be social but I love to give them the dog park, swim in a lake, go hiking kind of experience if permitted. I work remotely, so I have the time to spend with animals during the day. Especially midday long walks. Any animal in my care will be well looked after. I care for all animals like they are my own which means they get spoken to like they’re human and loved like they are human. My house is their house and when going into someone else’s home I am there for one purpose and respect that appropriately.
