“Katie provided great care for my kitties! It was really comforting to read her reports and see photos from each visit. Katie followed directions, was very responsible, and was great at communicating and asking questions. I would definitely hire Katie again if she’s available!”

“My dogs loved Michelle! I have three pups, of which two are rescues. She did so well with them! She was also timely which was a huge plus. I will look forward to booking her again!”

“Kelsey was so utterly wonderful! My dog is very anxious and shy around new people so I was extremely worried about leaving her but everything went wonderfully! Kelsey was very kind and patient with her. Will definitely book again!!!”

“Our old cat is grumpy and doesn’t like strangers. He runs under the bed whenever someone even comes knocking. But he loved Samantha and obviously was comfortable with her. We even have photo proof! Our weekend at Atlanta was stressful, but not because we were worried about our old boy. I will absolutely be asking for repeat visits if he’s schedule permits!”

“Kiera did a fab job taking care of Papaya this past weekend! She kept us updated the whole time and we came home to a happy, talkative little Papaya! Highly recommend!”

“Madison was great with my cats while I was gone for a long weekend! She was extremely flexible with their specific individual dietary needs and went above and beyond with their care! I will definitely be a returning customer :)”
“Courtney has helped me with dog sitting for nearly a year now, and has been very dependable. Both my dogs love her. I greatly appreciate her kindness and professionalism. I look forward to many future bookings knowing pups are getting the best care!”

About: About Me 🐾 I’ve been an animal lover and caring for dogs of all kinds since I was 16! Over the years, I’ve cared for pets belonging to family, friends, and colleagues, so I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes, personalities, and needs. As a registered nurse, I’m very dependable, attentive, and comfortable caring for pets who need a little extra TLC. I have experience administering medications, caring for senior pets, and working with animals with disabilities or special needs. I know how important it is to have someone you trust caring for your fur babies, and I’ll treat them like they’re my own! I currently work Monday–Friday from 7 AM–3 PM, which gives me great availability for afternoon and evening visits, walks, and drop-ins, as well as weekends. I’m also very comfortable with crating, leash walking dogs of all sizes, and following specific routines or instructions. Your pet’s safety is always my top priority. I’m especially careful when entering and leaving homes to make sure curious pups don’t sneak out, and I’ll always keep you updated so you can feel confident knowing your pets are happy, safe, and well cared for while you’re away. ❤️🐶 I work as a registered nurse Monday–Friday from 7 AM–3 PM, so pet care fits very naturally into my routine. About: I have always been around pets I love animals like they were my own and make them a priority when I can care for them! I am a missionary here in Aiken county so all my days look a bit different but very flexible and I often work from home I try to build a safe trust between me and the pet I am entering into their space to care for them and love them

About: I’ve been surrounded by and caring for animals my whole life, so being around dogs and cats comes very naturally to me. I’m comfortable with all personalities and am always willing to adapt and learn what works best for your specific pet(s). When I care for your pet(s), you can expect lots of love, attention, and playtime! I truly enjoy spending time with animals and making sure they feel safe, happy, and comfortable while you’re away. I also understand how stressful it can be to find someone you trust. I’ve been in your shoes with my own cats, so I take that responsibility very seriously. I take a lot of pride in being reliable, caring, and doing things the right way. I’ve always been the type of person who treats every job the way I would want it done for me (thoroughly and with care). I grew up with dogs (we had 7 total, with 3 at one time), but about 8 years ago in college, my parents gifted me my first kitten. Since then, I’ve fallen in love with both dogs and cats and truly adore every animal I meet. My husband and I now have 6 cats ranging from 3 to 7.5 years old. I’ve previously pet sat for 6 families with a mix of dogs and cats, but I moved out of state and am excited to build new connections here. I also just resigned from my position as a mail carrier with USPS (which required an extensive background check), and honestly, my favorite part of that job was getting to pet and play with animals on my route! I will be flexible with my scheduling so please just reach out! I work 8am-4:30pm Monday-Friday, therefore, I am available most weekends, Tues-Fri early in the morning until 7am and anytime at or after 5pm. I have experience administering both pill and injectable medications prescribed by a vet, and I’m happy to brush, walk, and care for your pet(s) however you prefer. I also love taking pictures and videos, so I’m more than happy to send updates while you’re away if requested! At the end of the day, just tell me what you need and expect. I’m here to make sure your pet(s) are well cared for and you have peace of mind. Fun fact: My family used to go out, find, and safely return lost dogs that were posted on our hometown’s Facebook page. We loved helping reunite them with their families 🐾 I am able to provide flexible scheduling, consistent attention, and reliable care throughout the day and week, including mornings, evenings, and weekends. Please reach out if you have any questions about scheduling! I care for every pet like they’re my own, and I always tailor my care to match each pet’s routine, personality, and needs. In both my home and my clients’ homes, I focus on keeping pets comfortable by sticking closely to their normal schedule for feeding, potty breaks, walks, and playtime. In a client’s home, I make sure pets feel safe in their familiar environment by maintaining their routine, giving them lots of attention, and keeping their space clean and stress-free. I also provide regular updates, photos, and communication so owners feel confident and at ease while they’re away. I’m attentive to behavior, energy levels, and any signs of stress or illness, and I always prioritize safety, comfort, and lots of affection.

About: I would love to take your fur babies out for walks and drop in on them to play. I have always had my own and i know how lonely it can be for them to be alone while their parents are at work. I can take them for nice long walk and even run with them if they are a little more energetic. i can always make sure they have enough food and water to get them through the day. I love to play catch and can take them to dog parks and let them get socialized with other dogs. I have my own baby they can even play together. I am so very excited to potentially work with you and your loving fur baby. I also have a very loving dog and if you are comfortable with it he really likes to play with other dogs.
About: I have had two dogs before. One I had for about 4 years and the next one I had for 7. The first dog was a Beagle, and the second was an English Pointer. We also have a family cat who’s 5 and kitten who’s under 1 that lives with my mom. However, I have been around big and small dogs and cats my whole life. I can care mostly in the afternoons/evenings on weekdays, but I have some random times during midday and possibly early morning. I’m usually available the entire weekend for every weekend, but there are some exceptions because of my college priorities. Your dog or cat will get any and all the attention it needs! With that being said, I can only visit your pet and they cannot visit me because I live in college dorms. Caring for your pet in your home is quite simple, though. I just need the ins and outs of the dos and don’ts and we'll be all set!
About: Hey, I’m Jamiyah.I know some of you all work long hours at work and may not have the energy to care for your pooch. Allow me to take that load off of you. I have a daughter. I genuinely love dogs. They will always have a special place in my big heart. They will be safe with me🫶🏽 I currently looking for work. In the meantime I can look after your pooch! A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Graniteville. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
