“I found out about Alyssa through a family friend who recommended her to me. I asked her to dog sit my huskies while I was on vacation for a week. I have cameras in and outside of the home and can say with 100% certainty she loves dogs. One of them has separation anxiety and ended up going potty EVERYWHERE in the home every single day. She cleaned it daily with no complaints and made sure to spend as much time with them as possible. She walked them, kept them up with their tricks, provided their medication, and updated me with pictures and videos. I’m so thankful for her, she has done amazing!”

About: I have owned dogs for over 34 years. Our dogs have ranged from Great Pyreneese and Grey Hounds down to 5 pound chihuahuas. Our last dog (Jack the teacup Chihuahua) lived until he was 18 years old. We decided it would be fun to help others board their beloved dogs as we had the privilege of using house sitters many times over the last 34 years. I am an adjunct faculty at a nearby University and teach almost exclusively online. My schedule at home is pretty much that of a stay at home mom. My husband and I love to take long walks and have always in the past included our dogs. We have a large home (2700 square ft) with no stairs. We have a large fenced in backyard and we do have an in ground pool. I always go outside with our dogs as I do not trust hawks and owls (especially with small breeds) and not all dogs are familiar with pools. I love to share my couch with pets to get extra cuddle time in. We allow dogs in every room of our home and invite smaller dogs into bed with us. Food and water is always available (except when an owner wants a specific schedule). Most of the home is wood floors with the exception of our living room.

About: I have taken care of animals a little over three years. I have mostly watched my family’s animals when they are out of town but, I have also watched cats and dogs for family friends. I am currently working part time while doing school. My classes are over at 11:30 so I am able to check on the pups Monday-Friday 12-2 and Sunday 7-10 or 6-9 I have two animals 1 cat and 1 dog that I have taken care of for over 3 years. I enjoy taking my dog on walks around my neighborhood!
