About: Dogs have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up with three Yorkies, so I know small breeds and their big personalities well. As an adult, I had a German Shepherd and Lab mix who was my loyal companion for 12 wonderful years. Since he passed, I've regularly cared for friends' dogs, and they trust me because I treat every pet like my own. Right now I care for a 3-year-old Goldendoodle, a 7-year-old Yorkie, a 6-year-old Shih Tzu, and a 3-year-old Schnauzer. That gives me daily experience with a wide range of sizes, energy levels, and ages, from playful young dogs to calmer seniors. I'm comfortable with feeding routines, walks, grooming needs, and giving each dog the attention and patience they need to feel safe and happy. I work from home, so your dog won't be left alone for long stretches. I love taking dogs on three walks a day, and honestly it keeps me active too. I live right across the street from a large park in Morton Grove, so there's plenty of green space for sniffing, exploring, and burning off energy. I also have two kids who adore dogs, so your pup will get lots of love, playtime, and attention from the whole family. Pet care fits naturally into my day because I work from home. Each morning and afternoon I walk my kids to and from school, and your dog is welcome to join us for those walks. After 3:30, my kids are home and love spending time playing with and giving attention to the dogs. On weekends, your pup gets extra walks, playtime, and cuddles with the whole family. I live in a single-family home with a yard, giving your dog a safe, comfortable place to play, relax, and get fresh air between walks. Since I work from home, I’m around most of the day to keep a close eye on them. When I do need to head out for work, dogs who are comfortable with car rides are welcome to come along with me. Otherwise, your dog can stay in our bright, cozy sunroom, where they’ll have their own calm, secure space until I’m back. I follow your dog’s usual routine for meals, walks, and bedtime so they feel right at home.

About: Hello, I'm a big animal lover. Life is always better with furry friends! I have pretty much always had a dog most of my life & always consider them family. I was lucky & got to be there when my former fur baby was born. Her mom let me massage her hips & tummy while in labor. It was her 1st litter & she was awesome!! She let me handle all 9 of the babies after she was done delivering so we could transfer all them to a clean bed & to help rotate at feeding time to ensure they all ate. All 9 survived & were healthy!! I was also a "doula" for my mom's cats pregnancy & she let me massage her tummy & handle her babies right away also. It's a blessing to see & be a part of. I would love to provide a safe and comfortable care for your pet while you are away. I used to have birds, cats, fish, been around reptiles & snakes, turtles, I worked at an eagle rapture center in Alaska which is where I'm from. I have a strong belief to only work in something you love so here I am. :-) Your pet will receive the same love & attention as if they were my own & provide plenty of pictures.
