“One of my cats got injured right before a trip out of town, and Emma boarded him at her house while we were away. She gave him his medicine twice a day and sent pictures and information every day. She spent time cuddling him and he even got to make a little doggy friend. I wasn't sure how my cat would do around the other animals, so Emma was very thoughtful about how and who she introduced him to, and made sure he had his own private space so he could feel comfortable. About: I have cared for several work friend's pets, including someone who had 7 medium-large dogs with a laundry list of special accommodations and medications needed I am an Army Veteran going to college, this leaves my afternoons and weekends completely free. I can alter the rest of my schedule to accommodate your pet I have a dog and cat of my own, so I have experience with the difference in the needs and behaviors of the two most common household pets. I care for their physical as well as their mental health to the best of my ability. I strive to care for all animals the same way.

About: Ever since I was born I had an animal right by my side . I have learned to take care of animals and provide for them. I have taken care of friends, family and neighbors pets in the past. I also have worked at a dog daycare called tail chasers so I have experience with big dog groups. I’m good with cats as well . About: I’ve had several pets in my household ever since I was young. I’ve always taken care of them, and have been relied on to pet sit for neighbors, family, and friends. I’ve also trained each of my pups in the house, such as the commands sit, lay down, stay, come, paw, roll over, and many more. One of my favorite experiences was taking care of a house full of pets for about a week that consisted of 9 cats, 5 dogs, and even a rabbit! About: Hello! I love all types of pets and currently have two dogs of my own. I am a student at Virginia-Maryland college of veterinary medicine trying to earn some extra money by doing what I love, playing with pets. I have experience with all types of pets at varying sizes and personalities. During my undergraduate career, I raised two Seeing Eye Dogs and helped other raisers with training. During this time, I worked at a veterinary hospital, participated in animal specific events like vaccination clinics, and groomed. From healthy puppies and kittens to seniors who need medication, I have seen it all and am prepared to help with whatever your pet needs. I hope I can meet your fur babies and shower them with love while you’re away. I offer additional grooming services, ask about them if your interested. As someone who owns two dogs, pet care is a priority in my life. Both of my pups get plenty of one-on-one time as well as long walks and enrichment in the house. During the day, the pups are crated while I am at school, but if my boyfriend is off of work they get to run around and play. As soon as I get home the dogs get taken out and fed. Along with daily care, I take care of all of their grooming and medical needs as well. I currently live in apartment complex which has a dog play area for your furry friends to get plenty of exercise. There is also a trail connected to the complex which will be utilized for long walks and plenty of sniffing opportunities. Both of my pups are very friendly and would be happy to be your pet’s playmate during their stay.

About: I have owned animals throughout my entire life and have experience in caring for numerous different types of pets. I currently own a cat, several fish, a redfoot tortoise, and a crested gecko. I am not a huge dog fan, but love all other kinds of animals (especially cats)! Some of my past experience includes taking care of rabbits, hedgehogs, gerbils, chickens, chinchillas, snakes, rats, and horses. I am also a plant lover and would be more than willing to water plants if needed! I am a first responder/nurse and currently work 2-4 12 hour shifts a week. About: I am a undergrad student at Virginia Tech who is applying to Veterinary School. I have 5 years of pet sitting experience and have worked at a Vet clinic for that same amount of time. I love to spend my time with large animals and volunteering at Local Shelters. I prioritize building a trusting relationship with my clients and their furry friends. About: I have owned animals my whole life. I have also worked in veterinary medicine for almost 10 years. I am a Licensed Veterinary Technician and have worked in General Practice as well as ER/ICU. I also operate an animal rescue in which I take in animals in need of medical care and once the animal is healthy, find adopters. I have taken care of numerous animals during my career. I have exceptional knowledge of medical management for animals needing medical care, medications, injections, etc. I currently work as an LVT (Licensed Veterinary Technician) part time. I operate my rescue every day of the week. I have a very flexible schedule that allows me several opportunities during the day/night to provide drop ins to a clients home for walks, medications, etc. I am typically home most of the day so animals staying in my home will have frequent access to the yard and attention from me I have a fenced in yard and a separate entrance and indoor space for pet sitting within my home. I have a finished basement with cat trees, dog toys, couches, etc to make guests staying within my home feel comfortable. Currently, I only have space for one client’s pets at a time to ensure all pets get along and are safe together. Guest within my home will not have access to my own personal pets.

About: I’ve been caring for animals for as long as I can remember! I’ve lived with pets my entire life, and wouldn’t have it any other way! From cats and dogs to fish and frogs I’ve taken care of them all! I work part time so I have lots of flexibility for caring for your little (or not so little) family members! My busiest days are Wednesdays and Fridays but other than that there’s no longer than a 5 hour stretch of time where I’m committed elsewhere. I want to make the experience as easy for your pets as possible, I know it can be stressful for them when their humans go away. I can do whatever keeps their schedule consistent for them, by keeping their outside walk schedule and making sure their where they need to be at the end of the day!

About: I'm that person where if you mention you have a dog, I want to meet them! I've been dogsitting since I can remember. With my current job, if my coworkers need a dogsitter, I'm there. They rely on me to walk, feed, and care for their pups as if it was my own. I currently work a job where I only work 3-4 days a week and have every weekend off. I'm unavailable on the days I work due to 12 hour shifts, but on my off days I'm available whenever! :) I have a friendly golden retriever pup who can give your furry friend company. I also have a crate upon your request and lots of toys!!

About: I used to help rescue and take care of new born kittens and puppy’s and I’m always sure to treat ever animal with respect and care. Before moving to Blacksburg I lived with my dad. We had a total of 11 cats and 4 dogs. (Ik it’s a lot :p) I love animals. I’ve had animals my entire life. I also have been around farm animals and have took care of chicken, ducks, horses, and goats. I am current a college student but when I’m not in class I will have free time to help anytime that’s needed.
