About: I have either owned or been around dogs/cats since 8 yrs old, mostly dogs. I have trained my own animals simple commands (“sit, stay, paw, speak”) and I subscribe to a service that keeps me learning new tricks and tips for dogs and cats. I frequently take care of others’ animals while they are away. A friend recommended this to me, since I’ve done it for years. I also thoroughly enjoy the company of animals. I am an RN that picks up shifts, per diem. Due to my specialties, (Critical and Emergency Care,) I enjoy the company of non-humans, and a less hectic environment to keep me energized and in a good frame of mind to continue nursing. Animals do just that! How could they not? I am able to walk, let animals out, play with, train, and crate (if needed,) I do not mind loading your dog into my car for a quick road trip, too! If they like that, anyway! I am experienced with different breeds, multiple dog households, and pet safety.

This waiting period allows each dog to decompress, adjust to the new environment, and display their natural behavior before meeting others. If a dog shows signs of stress or discomfort, introductions may be delayed or adjusted for safety. 🐾About me: I was raised on a farm containing large and small animals so I was taught the importance of all living things, but the passion for them bloomed on its own. During my time as a veterinary technician, I gained valuable hands-on experience, including learning how to properly administer medications and mastering essential techniques. My experience at a professional boarding facility further reinforced my passion for providing personalized, attentive care through home-based pet services. I recently worked as a groomer's apprentice, but I’m currently studying to become a certified dog obedience trainer, which will expand my ability to support your furry family members. I’ve loved every moment of my past four years on Rover, from meeting incredible families to caring for pets of all types and personalities. 🐾As a stay-at-home mom, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to give your pets the attention they deserve. I’m here to help whenever you need a trusted sitter! To ensure a balanced schedule for both my family and the pets in my care, my phone is silenced between 10 PM and 8 AM. If your fur-baby is a social butterfly, they’ll love visiting me. My home often welcomes friends and family, some bring their dogs for playdates, too! For less social pets, I will ensure a calm and comfortable environment tailored to their needs. While my new home doesn’t have a fenced yard, I’ve adjusted by providing supervised outdoor time with 15-foot leads in my spacious backyard. I also prioritize mealtime safety and feed pets in separate spaces to ensure a stress-free experience. If a crate is needed, I have one available so you don't have to transport yours!

I have a large fenced yard, and I'm home nearly all day, every day, so your pet will have plenty of attention, supervision, and space to play and feel safe. I have a large fenced yard and am home all day, most every day, so I’m free to focus fully on your pet’s needs and give you frequent updates as requested. I'm diligent, conscientious, and careful with dogs. I have a large fenced yard and am home most of the time, so your pet gets plenty of attention and care. I can easily crate your dog if needed for safety or routine.

About: Animals have been a part of my life since my childhood. Having both cats and dogs in my household, I have been trusted to take care of pets my entire life. I have experience in taking care of both big and small dogs, both personally and professionally taking care of pets belonging to others as well as temporarily taking care of foster animals, even those with health conditions. I have also taken care of cats my whole life, including those that live with other animals such as dogs. To me, taking care of pets is not just a profession, but is an ordinary and enjoyable part of life. I am a current student at Virginia Tech, coming back home for my winter break period, with plenty of time to spare. I am available every day to take care of pets, as I am already actively taking care of my dog, as well as my sister’s cats whenever necessary. I care for my own dog by keeping her active and healthy, through plenty of playtime and walking time. I am able to adjust to whatever my client’s needs will be, and I am available to take pets on walks to keep them active, or even just stay with them to keep them company.

About: I have grown up with many dogs and I volunteer at my local shelter walking dogs now so I really love being with all dogs! I work full time but I have some flexibility during the days here and there and I am free all evenings throughout the week and all weekends I provide individualized care and attention for each pet. If I can tell a pet wants to be alone, I will let them do their thing. If they want to play, I will play with them. I will read the dog and cater to what they want to do!

About: I am a recent animal science grad from Virginia Tech, pursuing a career in veterinary medicine. My journey in this field began at a young age when I commenced volunteering at an animal shelter, an endeavor that has remained a cherished source of solace and fulfillment. Over the years, I have garnered hands-on experience through roles as a kennel attendant and doggy daycare handler at a veterinary clinic and grooming center. Presently, I am engaged in an internship under the guidance of a seasoned veterinarian. Additionally, I have accumulated four years of experience in house and pet sitting, catering to animals of varying sizes, ranging from 150-pound Cane Corsos to 10-pound Yorkies, and have cared for both arthritic and diabetic seniors in the past. About: Some of my pet experience includes bathing dogs, taking care of dogs for friends, having my own dog who i care for, and loving all animals. I’ve trained my dog to for certain commands which i believe is very helpful. All my friends come to me when they need someone to take care of their fur babies! I am a college student with a work load, however no job. A lot of my days are spent in my home doing homework and pet care fits into my schedule because I can always be there to play and take you pets out. I don’t have very long classes either or in a big stretch so your pay would be cared for almost 24/7 I care for pets as if they were my children haha! About: I have always been an animal lover! I always have to stop and pet when I see them. I have often pet sat/boarded our neighbors animals for weeks even. I love all animals! I am currently a stay at home mom so I have extra time to come walk your pets, sit with them, or even for them to come stay with me I am home all day. At my home pets are always on leash and walked on grass/sidewalk. Can be kept in a separate area if requested! Clients home is based on clients wishes (backyard/dog park/sidewalk). I also have 3 loving dogs and 2 cats that stay with me currently!

About: I am a veterinarian who has dedicated her life to caring for animals. I have worked with animals from a young age, including many hours working in vet offices in high school leading up to college and vet school (became a licensed vet in 2020). I am quite comfortable with caring for animals who need medications administered, or more intense levels of care while their owners are away. Working with animals brings me joy and peace, and making sure they are happy and well cared for is my life mission. I believe in fear free handling, and I am happy to work with animals who do not trust unknown people. I am a licensed veterinarian but I am currently in grad school so I am very flexible. I can be home all day if needed, and can provide close supervision. I have a 3 year old female German Shepherd (very friendly!) and cats (mostly outdoor). I have the ability to keep my dog separate if needed but she loves playing with other dogs! I have a full sized truck and the ability to transport animals with me safely. I have 2.5 acres of fenced land for dogs to run and play as well as a small fenced in section adjacent to the house. A pet door offers come and go access to the house. I am free to drop in during the week or board animals for extended periods, and if your animal needs medications administered as part of their care I am very capable. I am comfortable handling large dogs (I have a lot of practice in my line of work as a veterinarian). I am also comfortable with young animals, cats, older animals, and any animal requiring high levels of care.

About: I’ve owned a black Labrador(Anna) for over 13 years, she has not once had any sort of health issue as I’ve feed her well, and kept her up to date on vet visits. I’m caring, compassionate, and smart and versatile enough to be calm in any situation that may arise. I assure you that I will treat your pet as if it were my own. This allows me the freedom to stay focused on your pet and be there when other folks have to leave. If a situation ever does arrive my strength are communication so you can rest assured I will be in constant contact, which as a pet owner for an older girl myself id expect from others if I left her in their care. If the pet requires adequate exercise I have no problem going on a long walk with them and the space is pet friendly as my dog (Anna) is there. In your home, I can assure you that my experience will allow me to provide the best care for your loved ones.

About: I’ve taken care of animals since I was around 4 years old, however when I turned 9 I started caring for horses as well. I’ve also been handling little animals like guinea pigs and hamsters since I was 12. I graduated high school in 2022, I’m at home quite frequently! I have more than enough time that I can spend with your adorable animal/s! I have two dogs in my home to keep your fur baby company! Rue is very playful and just loves the attention. She’d hang out with your dog all day! Bailee is an adorable love bug who just wants to cuddle all day.
