“Christina and Daniel were amazing! My pup loves being at their farm and being able to to just be a dog! They sent me photos the whole time and let me know how he was doing! They are truly the best board we’ve experienced!”

“Debbie & Adam are amazing, we were super hesitant to leave our baby with anyone and are so happy we found them. This was our little mans first time being away from us, ever, and they were absolutely great with Murphy. They checked in with us and sent pics and videos of him throughout his stay which as crazy puppy parents helped keep our mind at ease. I would absolutely recommend Debbie and Adam!”

“This was our first time being away from our pup for an extended period of time and Joni put us at ease with updates and pictures. We were able to enjoy our vacation knowing Charlie was receiving quality care and attention.”

About: I have a lifetime of experience with dogs. I’ve raised my current pup (15.5 years) since he was a tiny little 3 month old. As such, I also have experience with senior care and giving medications. I currently do not work and am home for the majority of the day. Potty breaks and meals can be as often as necessary or as needed. I can literally set my schedule around your pets. I have two fenced in yards for pottying and ample play time. The main home is one floor, stairs are not necessary for seniors. I have one senior dog who enjoys sleeping all day. I also have children to provide extra snuggles and exercise. Even our neighbors enjoy handing out treats (with your permission, of course!)

“Lisa made our mini dachshund feel right at home for his first time away from our family! He loved playing with Lisa's dog and felt comfortable enough with Lisa to snuggle with her at night. Highly recommend!”

“I couldn’t have asked for a better dog sitter. From the moment we connected, it was clear how much Nelia genuinely cares about dogs. While I was away, she sent regular updates and pictures, which gave me so much peace of mind. It was obvious my dog was not only well taken care of, but also happy, comfortable, and getting lots of attention. I came home to a relaxed, happy dog. I highly recommend Nelia to anyone looking for a reliable, communicative, and genuinely caring dog sitter. I will definitely book with her again!”

“Michelle took amazing care of our dogs while we were out of town! Her house and yard are a dog’s a paradise. She was also super responsive to messages and sent lots of pictures! I highly recommend her for boarding!!”

“This was a great experience for our dog Lily, and therefore for us as well. This was our first time leaving our 3 year old golden, so we were a little apprehensive until we met Ashley and her 2 great dogs. We were gone for over a week and we never worried about our dog; we knew she was a good hands and getting lots of attention and great care. Ashley sent us pictures, videos, and updates. This was the first time Lily really had extended play with other dogs plus Ashley's kids; it was clear our dog was happy, safe, and probably didn't want to leave :-) Couldn't have asked for better care or a better experience. We highly recommend Ashley and hope to use her again soon!”

“Just concluded our first stay with Danielle. More happy with this stay than any other I have booked previously with other sitters through Rover. I got pics, videos, and updates multiple times each day. I could tell the way my girl ran around the house when I got there that she was comfortable with her surroundings and I witnessed her loving to play with Danielle's dogs and sons. Peach looked great and healthy and was very happy when I picked her up.”

“Amazing with my little void! Everyday pics and video and my little baby looked so happy to be there! Went above and beyond and made little toys for her!”

“Bryanna and Devin were amazing with Susie! I cannot recommend them enough. They were so friendly and accommodating. They loved our girl like their own. They kept us updated just the right amount. You can tell they take care of the animals they sit, our girl seemed happy to see us but sad to go!”

“Highly recommend. Our boy was well taken care of with daily updates and pictures. He loved playing with her dogs and actually came home pretty tired from all the activity. Will definitely be using Melissa again.”
“Excellent pet watcher!! I highly recommend. They were very responsive, and flexible. My cat T-square had a blast at there place. He was loved, groomed, and cared for, as if he was with me! ❤️”

“AJ was a great sitter for the weekend for my Jack Russell. AJ was very attentive and took excellent care of Diesel. Will definitely book again with AJ. Thank you so much for keeping my mind at ease with sending updates and photos!”

“Amy was great :) she truly is a dog lover. She kept me posted on a daily basis with pictures of my fur babies via text mssg. My fur babies were happy with their stay and I felt very comfortable trusting her with them.”

“This was our first time using Rover and Kyle was amazing. Having had our rescue dog for just 3 months, I wasn’t sure how the overnight boarding would go. He gave our Bugsy all the attention he needed to feel secure. He even sent pictures capturing Bugsy’s sleepover fun! I would definitely recommend him.”

“Oh wow, booking a stay for our dog with Armida has officially set the bar incredibly high for what great dog care can and should look like! From before the booking even started, she wanted to know the interests and preferences of our pup, and planned around it all, including her own sleeping arrangements to ensure our pup was comfortable!! She pampered our pup so well, it felt that the dog was welcomed as a part of their family for the week! I cannot recommend Armida highly enough! One of the sweetest, kindest people I've ever met, too. We will forever be using Armida for our dog care needs for as long as she is available!!”

“Gus had a wonderful time for his stay. We really enjoyed the photo updates and were very comfortable leaving him with Cassandra and her family. We would highly recommend and look forward to another stay for Gus.”

About: I am an animal lover and I have always had pets. The past few years I have been saving lives and fostering with One By One Reacue! I am currently on a foster break since I have 4 dogs of my own but help run the rescue in other ways. I am lucky enough to work from home and be with my pets all day. They stay in the general area I am when I work. Since I have 4 dogs of my own, I would like to provide boarding at my house. I am in a town house and I have movable metal fencing for my dogs. I never leave them outside alone. When I do have to run to the store or have plans for the day (usually no more than 8 hours) I have a furbo that I check in on them throughout the day. I also gate off my stairs so no one can use them (or fall down, I had a blind dog and watch one) when I am not there.
Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Glyde
The perfect farm stay! I cannot say enough wonderful things about Michelle and Luke and their beautiful farm. From the moment I arrived, I felt completely at ease — and more importantly, so did my dogs. Tucker and Greta immediately took to them, and it was obvious how much love, patience, and experience they have with animals. Throughout the stay, Michelle sent the sweetest updates and photos, and it meant the world to see my dogs relaxed, happy, and truly treated like part of the family. Their home is warm, peaceful, and safe, and the open farm environment was a dream come true for my pups. I’m so grateful to have found such an incredible place for my dogs to stay. Michelle and Luke are exactly the kind of people you hope to meet on Rover — trustworthy, caring, communicative, and genuinely passionate about animals. I will absolutely be booking with them again. If you’re looking for a safe, loving, home-style stay where your dogs will be cared for like their own, this is the place. Highly, highly recommend!

We had our boys stay with Michelle & family over Halloween weekend. This is our second experience with their family and couldn't say enough good things. Our boys knew where they were and had another wonderful experience with the young girls and all the attention. Highly recommend and look forward to the next visit!

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, daily exercise may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Glyde home-away-from-home, packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Glyde.
<b>Tip:</b> You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your Glyde sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the , which provides up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in PA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
