This was our first time leaving our 3 year old golden, so we were a little apprehensive until we met Ashley and her 2 great dogs. About: Though I have less experience with cats, I still love and care for them the same! Most of friends have cats so when we hang out I’m almost always playing with their fur-babies. This past year I lived with a cat for the first time and I learned so much more about cat’s body language, behavior, and affection. “Dana did a phenomenal job with our three house cats -- including an insulin-dependant diabetic -- AND our ferals whiie we were away for three weeks. Our 20-year-old was put on insulin about 10 days before we were due to leave and our regular cat sitters backed out because they were uncomfortable with giving shots. I don't know what we would have done if we hadn't found Dana through Rover. Dana was highly experienced with injections, understood each of our cats' peculiarities and also offered to continue feeding the ferals that we've been doing trap-fix-release with. She sent pictures every day. I never had to worry about the kitties the entire time we were gone. If I could give her six stars, I would.”

About: I have grown up with pets as a child to the time I came to college. In my childhood and early teen years, my family has owned a cat. In my mid-teen years, my family decided to own a dog! I have also volunteered at an animal shelter while in high school! I work full-time as a caseworker worker and I am looking for a second means of income that I love. About: I grew up with dogs and have loved animals my entire life. I have been a pet sitter for many friends and neighbors over the years and had my own canine companion for 10 years. She passed away in November of 2023. Animals deserve to be loved and treated like family. About: I’ve taken care of all kinds of pets ever since I was little, I’ve lived with at least one pet almost my whole life. Because of this, I am able to recognize body language in pets with relative ease, and how to react based on what signals they’re sending. Most of my experience comes from dogs, but I also have plenty of experience playing with and taking care of cats, bunnies, chickens, turtles, and more! I have lots of energy, patience, and love to give any little (or big) creatures that cross my path! My current work schedule is extremely flexible, and I’m working part time, so I will have plenty of time to take care of your pets any time throughout the entire week! I can frequently stop by since my job keeps me on the move and spend loads of time with them before and after my shifts! Both of my own dogs are trained with an invisible fence. I have a pretty big yard so they don’t need to go on walks super frequently, but I still like to take them out every once in a while. I feed the dogs twice a day (once in the morning and once at night), but I take it by a day by day basis as sometimes they have leftover food, etc. I usually spend at least an hour or so of my day specifically playing with my dogs, but I understand that your pets will most likely have different play wants/needs. I am always down to cuddle and give lots of pets and belly rubs, but I would never force your pets to if they aren’t interested.
