“Megan was awesome with Wanda. She loved her time at camp playing with friends. Meagan kept us up to date sending us photos of our baby every day. Coming back we got stuck in heavy traffic and she was so understanding about it. We will definitely rebook! We felt so much better knowing that she was cared for while we were away.”

“Castro had a wonderful time with his new friend Bear! Mike and his girlfriend/wife were super accommodating with our drop off/pick up time and were very very warm. I would definitely leave my dog in this couple's care again :)”

“Gillian is the best and u can tell she does dog sitting as a labor of luv because it is obvious how much she loves and is good with animals. We felt completely comfortable leaving our 10 mos Corgi Bear with her for the first time for a few days and could tell how much fun he had with Gillian’s dogs while he was there. Daily throughout our weekend she sent updates with videos and pics which made leaving him for the first time much easier😊”

About: Being a good pet caregiver involves understanding and meeting the unique needs of each animal. This includes providing proper nutrition, regular exercise, and routine veterinary care to ensure their health and well-being. Additionally, offering love, attention, and social interaction is essential for their emotional happiness. A responsible pet caregiver also creates a safe and stimulating environment, allowing pets to thrive both physically and mentally. Ultimately, building a strong bond through trust and companionship enriches the lives of both the caregiver and the pet. I’ve decided to become a pet caregiver through Rover because I know how difficult it can be to find care for my own pet when needed and I wanted to help others. I work from home Monday through Friday and have a very flexible schedule. On the weekends we usually spend time enjoying our home and backyard which does have a gated pool. I have a large fenced in yard and a 2 year old chocolate lab who loves to play with other dogs. We also have a spacious dog crate should your dog require any down time or if they sleep in a crate at night. We do have a rescued senior cat but she is declawed so she is of no danger to your dog.

“Danielle was very helpful with London who is very scared and anxious when with new people in a new place. Thank you for being so patient with her!”

“John and his family were so nice, and very accommodating with less than a week's notice. My senior dog Chip seemed to feel right at home with them, and came home tired and happy so he clearly got lots of playtime and attention. I will absolutely reach out to John again if I'm in need of someone to watch my pup.”

“Sue is great. She is a natural dog lover and has a perfect home and fenced in yard for dogs. She kept me informed on how my dog was and everything went really well. Otis was also a nice companion for my dog. I’d highly recommend Sue.”

“Ginger is a fantastic human, Sheba seemed very content to cohabitate with. Ginger went above and beyond in her care for my girl. She sent texts, pictures and videos to keep me posted on how my husky was doing throughout her stay. If I go out of town again I know the exact person I will contact through Rover. Thanks again Ginger”
