About: Raised a well trained border collie in high school and recently fostered a puppy that became a service dog through Dogs For Better Lives. We trained it for 14 months to prepare for service training. Typically the professional training takes 4-6 months but our boy graduated in 2.5. I love short, fun training sessions and consistency. I was a solo traveler living the vanlife but am back home helping my folks in Maryland. I love dogs but owning one would radically change my lifestyle. About: I have over forty years of dog experience. I bred German Shepherd’s for fifteen years. I have taken obedience, agility, and Nose work from local professional trainers and have done puppy, beginner, intermediate and advanced obedience with three of my dogs. I also worked for 1.5 years at a doggie daycare in Utica. I want to do my doggie daycare on a small scale so your pet receives individual attention. I have seen places doing 25- 50 dogs with only one or two people watching them and I feel there is a great need for care on a much smaller scale. So here I am! I retired from banking and with my husband live on our small farm in the country. We built what we call the dog arena for exercising our personal dogs and I intend to use it to also exercise my clients dogs. I am available most weekends and week days. My schedule is now fully open, which means I can give your pet the time, attention, and consistency they deserve. While I don’t have a fenced yard, dogs are always supervised and taken outside on a leash so they can safely explore and enjoy the fresh air. Safety is always my top priority. Please let me know if your pup is off-leashed trained, so I may work with them after they are comfortable on the property. Dogs in my care will also have the companionship of my friendly corgi, Ginger, who is well-socialized and enjoys being around other dogs. The newest addition to my household is Nori, a corgi puppy. She currently has a lot of energy and is in training, doing very well. I follow each dog’s routine closely, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any special care needs, and I provide regular updates so you can feel confident your pet is happy and well cared for. Your dogs and my dogs are allowed on the couch and the bed. We love to snuggle up!

Growing up in this environment I know a lot about caring for animals. I am a very outgoing person who loves hiking, long walks to the park, and making homemade dog treats! I enjoy checking on cats and dogs, as well as providing plenty of play time. I’m a big fan of long walks on nice days! Safety is my priority! I have one pup of my own to keep yours company if you’d like. If not that’s okay too. She is a 20 lb shih tzu mix and loves to play! She is friendly with both dogs and cats. I offer all service options, from dog walking and check ins, to house and pet sitting.

About: I have personally had five family rescue dogs since the 1980s. The majority taken in from puppy stage up to 4 years of age. Most stayed with us through their senior years. I am retired from work and am available with a reliable vehicle equipped with pet crates for safe transportation or can travel to your home as necessary. I can care for your pet in my home on a 1-acre lot on a private road/area. Or, I can travel to your home as necessary.
About: Growing up, I've had a couple of dogs. Our first was a mix (part husky, terrier, etc.) named O'Doolie who lived to be 16! I was young when we had her, so I don't remember her puppy years. Our other dog we had since I was in elementary school up to my early 20s was Dixie Lee. She was a Miniature Schnauzer and was the sweetest dog ever! I enjoyed bathing her, brushing her teeth, and giving her so much love and attention. My husband and I work together as landscape designers! During the winter months, our schedule is very slow. This provides us more time to engage ourselves in other fun and creative endeavors! Currently, I have an unfenced backyard. I live with my husband in a small home. In the future, we’d love to put in a fence— we have just found we haven’t needed to just yet!
About: I’ve taken care of dogs ever since I could remember. I love them so much. Everyone calls me the dog whisperer whenever they need a helping hand with their fur babies. I do charge an additional fee for gas, due to gas prices being so high and the high intake I receive from my guests. I currently work part time but I’m available usually after 9am throughout the week. I do work weekends usually but I can be flexible with stopping in the morning and evenings times for your fur babies. I am temporarily in a transition moving right now, for the Army National Guard. I am living at Home until I receive my new orders. So I will come to you for any of your visits you need for your fur babies!

We even needed to extend our pups stay with her on short notice and she was extremely helpful and accommodating. Then when we picked up our dogs, Anna gave us a couple new toys, several printed pictures of the pups during their stay, and little "report cards" of how they fared during their stay with comments.
