About: I’ve owned pets my whole life. Cats, dogs, guinea pigs, rabbits, bearded dragons, axolotls… I have had older cats and dogs that require medications and special care. I worked at a pet store for about 2 years. I am always willing to learn about your pet! I am a full time college student, I’m on campus for about 8 hours including commute time. A typical day allows me time to take care of my animals before I leave for class and when I get home. I have a fenced in yard for my dog. My cat and dog are free roam in the house. I have not had an outdoor cat and no declawing. The other animals in my household are in a spacious cage and well taken care of.

“Went above and beyond our expectations of caring for our 6 cats while out of town for a weekend. I would definitely recommend using her and will be rebooking with her again in the future. Thank you so much for taking such good care of our fur babies while we were away!”

About: I have gained so much experience with animals over the years that I have been jokingly nicknamed “the animal whisperer” and Snow White. I have had dogs and a cat my whole life, as well as watching friends, coworkers, family members and networks pets. I also have experience in animal husbandry & care from my last research position. I accept all furry friends and have experience with dogs, cats, rabbits, and rodents! I currently work full time, approximately 6am-5pm (including my commute), so I am available any day after 5 for a dinner time walk or an overnight stay if pups or cats are okay being left alone for a bit. Please keep this in mind, especially regarding seniors or puppies. If your babies are used to that then I am totally fine with it. On weekends, however, I am available any time! I am able to follow any instructions given from the client and do have experience giving medication as well. I am attentive, will provide updates, always looking out for their well-being, and loving. I will provide the most comfortable & approachable aura that I can to make all fur-babies feel safe 💕

“Nicole took amazing care of our senior pups. I usually worry so much when I have to leave them but felt very comfortable that she would take good care of them. She was on time for all of the drop ins we had scheduled, sent us pictures and took good care of my girls. I will definitely use Nicole again and would recommend her to others.”

About: I love pets of all kinds, shapes, and sizes. I accept all personalities coming from an owner of a very mischievous husky and a reactive senior pup. I have several years of dog walking and sitting in DC as well as working at veterinarian offices. I am also currently enrolled in nursing school so am no stranger to any medically necessary situations. I will always ensure to treat your pet like my own and make sure they grown to love me like their own! I currently work nights part time at UMMC as well as am enrolled full time in nursing school. Though that might sound like my schedule I’m jammed pack, I have plenty of breaks in between for your beloved pups! I also enjoy quality time outside and would love to have a fur friend to join me. I currently do not do pet sitting in home or out as I have a 3 year old toddler I simply cannot spend time away from and my senior pup is unfortunately dog reactive.

“Rebeccah was excellent! She asked really great questions with our meet and greet to ensure she understood Phoebe’s needs and wants. The Rover cards were detailed and gave me comfort to know she was in good hands. Will definitely book with Rebeccah in the future.”

About: Currently only available on evenings and weekends. I was raised with dogs my entire life. I've never met a dog who I didn't like, and who didn't like me. Three and a half years ago a cat walked into my home and refused to leave and made me his human and I consider this the highest compliment a cat can give. Special skills include giving the best pets/scratches/rubs/loves, being very big and strong so even the biggest dogs can't pull me or get away from me on walks, having tons of energy and enthusiasm for play, understanding/being able to read body language of dogs/cats, I'm currently funemployed and have wide availability to offer walks and drop ins at nearly anytime. Let me know what works for you and it will likely work for me. I am unable to bring others pets into my home as my cat deeply prefers to be an only pet and came to me to avoid another cat in his previous home. However, I will care for pets in their own homes or on walks with the same love as I've treated all my own dogs growing up and my cat now with. The most important thing about my care is I will discuss with you how you care for your pet and I will make sure that when your pet is with me they receive no less love, attention, and care than if you were with then yourself.

About: I am new to pet sitting on this platform, but not new to caretaking for pets. I specialize in senior pet care, especially cats with CKD. I am very experienced in giving medications orally or injection, administering subq fluids and lots of extra cuddles are very important! My husband and I enjoy traveling, but found it very hard to find a pet sitter that was well versed in caring for senior cats, especially cats with kidney disease. I will care for your babies as I would my own. They depend on us for safety and I do not take that lightly. I will treat them with respect and kindness because thats how I would want my babies to be treated while I’m away. Our pets are nervous enough while we’re away, so whatever I can do to make their lives a little less stressful, I will certainly do!

“Once again, our favorite pet sitters came through! They did such a wonderful job leaving pictures and updates of our pups while we were away. They are hands down the best option if you want to come home to happy, healthy dogs! Thank you so much as always!”

Glenwood dog parents share their Rover experiences
There are not enough words to express my gratitude for Sabrina, Ryan, and their little boy for always making sure our senior pups are well taking care of. This time around our pups had some tummy issues and they kept us informed and updated. Although we felt awful for the messes they’ve had to clean up, they never complained or made us feel bad about it. They will always be our first pick when we are out of town!!

Erica was phenomenal! Not only was she personable during the meet and greet, but she also went above and beyond with our pets and our house. She brought in all of our packages, took pictures of damaged packages so we were aware, and washed out our pet’s food and water bowls during her last visit. We will definitely book with her again!

Alise was so great!! I’ve always been very, very hesitant with using Rover but after finding Alise- she will definitely be our go to! We had a little mix up (my fault) but Alise was so sweet about it! The pups seemed super happy, well cared for and loved her! 10/10!!

We hired Ms. Pat again for drop in visits for our two fur babies who she has cared for before. This weekend was special to us because it was the weekend we got married. Never during our special moments did I worry if our fur babies were taken care of. Ms. Pat is the best!

Cobie has been wonderful with my pups! She is always responsive and consistent. She followed my instructions for how to make the first visit less stressful, which was especially important. She was even open to adjusting the per visit fee for my two dogs because she had to come twice per day for my puppy. Thanks so much, Cobie!

Shannon was great! This is my first time using her to do drop in visits on my dog, Zaydah while I was out of town for a couple of days. We did a meet and greet so that she could familiarize herself with my dog and my home before confirming the booking. My dog instantly liked her and I booked. Shannon kept me updated with what was going on through photos and text. If she had any questions she texted me. She even did a follow up on the last day to confirm that I didn’t need her to drop in and check on my dog anymore. I will definitely be using her again. Book Shannon you won’t be sorry.

This was our first time using rover and both the dog and I were nervous but Amanda made it easy. We did some meets beforehand and I think that really helped us. Amanda was very communicative and I’m so appreciative of that. Even though she was only there for the dog, she was also kind to the cats and even included them in the photos! We hope she’ll have us back if needed. 🖤🐾

Nicole took amazing care of our senior pups. I usually worry so much when I have to leave them but felt very comfortable that she would take good care of them. She was on time for all of the drop ins we had scheduled, sent us pictures and took good care of my girls. I will definitely use Nicole again and would recommend her to others.
