About: I have taken care of both small and large dogs the past couple of summers. I have a senior dog myself, so I’m extremely patient and attentive. I am able to provide my services both in the Locust Grove area and around Lake Anna, VA, since I travel between both areas frequently. I’m a college student at James Madison University who is home for the summer and excited to provide loving, reliable care for your fur babies whenever you need! I'm completing an online certification course this summer with a flexible schedule, which allows me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to your pets. Whether it's long walks or simply keeping them company, I'll make sure they feel safe and well cared for. I pay very close attention to detail and can meet all pet needs when asked. I’m also communicative and understanding that your pet is my first priority.
About: I’ve been taking care of dogs since I was a lil thang, I’ve always had such a soft spot for them & my passion is to become a dog trainer ! I’m always going to make time if I know a dog needs it, & I am super weird about people around my dog so I want to make sure that you’re dog is more than comfortable. Well I’m always going to have the dog in my sight, but if the area is not fenced in & the dog doesn’t have the best recall, leash it is!
“Jessica was amazing! She walked my two dogs, a high strung chihuahua and elderly dog (14 y.o.), for 30min for 4 days. She reached out and asked if I wanted her to meet the dogs before walking them which was great. The chihuahua tends to bark his head off at strangers, and I wasn't sure how he'd react (he ended up running away from her the first day for 15min, sorry Jessica). The older dog had diarrhea throughout the house one day, and cleaning up after something like that isn't really what I consider her job. I told her she didn't need to worry about it, and I'd deal with it when I got back. However, she ended up cleaning up as much as she could anyways (that's going to be a big tip). Besides my dogs being a huge pain. She always responded quickly and sent a lot of pictures from the walks.”

About: I was raised with dogs (shelties, primarily) and now have a hobby farm with goats, dogs (german shepherds, a lab and a sheltie), ducks and a cat. I'm reliable and friendly and happy to follow whatever instruction and routine you need. Your pets will be well cared for and you'll receive plenty of photo updates while you're gone! I have a very flexible schedule, so I am able to accommodate nearly any routine your pet is used to, including frequent walks and potty breaks. I will work with you to keep your pet's schedule as close to what they are used to as possible. If boarding in my home, we have a fenced yard, plenty of area to go on leashed walks, and they will get plenty of one on one attention and care. I'm happy to do transport or add in a bath during your pet's stay so your life can be as simple as possible while you're trying to get out the door for your trip. Pet care is my full time job and priority. I can adapt as needed to make sure your pet keeps the routine they are comfortable with, even when you aren’t home. I will ask questions and take notes on your pets’ routine and then do my best to ensure that those habits are in place with me.
“Cory was great with my dog, who can be difficult and high energy. He sent plenty of pictures and updates during the visit. I highly recommend him - especially if you are looking for someone that will be patient with your pet!”

About: I am a current fourth year veterinary student, and I have several years of experience in clinics and boarding facilities working with dogs and cats. Caring for pets isn’t just a job for me, it’s what I’ve dedicated my life and education to. Because of my clinical training and professional experience, I’m comfortable caring for pets of all ages, sizes, and temperaments. I have experience administering medications, monitoring for changes in behavior, and providing attentive care to pets who may be anxious or require special handling. Whether your dog needs an energetic walk, or your cat needs a reliable sitter while you’re away, you can feel confident knowing they are in capable hands. I treat every pet as if they were my own and prioritize safety, comfort, and enrichment at every visit. I’m currently working at a local veterinary clinic part-time, so I will have plenty of time to care for your pets. I am free every day of the week for walks and drop-by sitting, and my timing is flexible each day depending on what your needs are! I will monitor your pets in your home and ensure that they stay within my sight and are not getting into anything they shouldn't be. When they are outside, I will either take them out on a leash if your yard is not fenced, or keep watch on them while they are in a fenced-in yard. On walks, I will use whatever accessories you suggest for your dog, whether that be a harness, collar, etc. I will bring water with me for any extended walks, and be sure to monitor them for any signs of fatigue especially in our hot weather. I am very flexible and can provide many different kinds of care tailored to your pet!
About: My home offers a private, low-volume stay designed for dogs who thrive with calm energy, consistency, and one-on-one attention. I intentionally keep my bookings extremely limited, typically no more than 2 to 3 dogs at a time, so each dog receives focused care, supervision, and a truly personalized experience. This is a quiet, structured environment where dogs are part of my daily routine, not rotated through large group play or overstimulating settings. Every stay is designed to feel stable, safe, and relaxed. For dogs who enjoy social interaction, I carefully incorporate supervised play and enrichment opportunities when appropriate and with owner approval. Social time is always based on each dog’s temperament, energy level, comfort, and overall fit. I intentionally keep my care balanced and structured, ensuring dogs who benefit from interaction have positive experiences while maintaining the peaceful environment I’m known for. Dogs here benefit from: • Consistent supervision and presence • Calm, structured daily routines • One-on-one attention and interaction • Low-stress, balanced social dynamics • A peaceful environment without overstimulation Your dog is never left unattended for long periods and is never placed in chaotic or crowded situations. This is a more intentional, hands-on level of care for owners who want peace of mind knowing their dog is truly being looked after. The property includes open space, shaded areas, and quiet walking paths. Outdoor time is always supervised and tailored to each dog’s comfort level, energy level, and recall reliability. This setting is an excellent fit for: • Dogs who prefer a calm environment • Senior dogs or lower-energy breeds • Dogs who benefit from structure and routine • Anxious or sensitive dogs • Owners looking for a more private, personalized stay I do accept well-mannered and social dogs, as long as they align with the calm, balanced environment here. Each stay is thoughtfully matched to maintain a safe and positive experience for everyone. If your dog would benefit from a more active, high-energy environment, I can also help guide you toward the best fit to ensure they have the experience they need. Caring for animals is already the rhythm of my day. I’m home full time, so everything I do revolves around feeding schedules, outdoor playtime, training, cleaning, and making sure everyone’s comfortable. My mornings start with letting the dogs out to stretch and play while I prep meals and check water buckets. Throughout the day, I rotate them between play areas, nap spots, and one-on-one time inside. there’s room for everyone to get fresh air, sunshine, and plenty of space to explore safely. I treat visiting dogs exactly like my own with the same attention, structure, and love. Nights are calm with everyone settled in for dinner, cuddles, and quiet time before bed. Pet care isn’t something I squeeze in; it is my lifestyle. When pets stay with me, they get the best of both worlds! I have a safe indoor area where they can relax, play, and feel comfortable, plus a secure outdoor space where they can get fresh air, stretch their legs, and enjoy supervised playtime. I keep both areas clean and cozy, and I always make sure pets are monitored while outside. Whether it’s sunshine and fetch or chill time indoors, I tailor their routine to what makes them happiest and most comfortable.

About: I’ve been an animal lover for as long as I can remember, often referred to as the “pet whisperer” by family and friends! At any occasion you’ll find me on the floor giving the animals all the “Brittany love”, as my parents would describe my adoration for animals ever since I was a little girl. I grew up on a farm and have had all sorts of animals from chickens to horses, dogs/cats, bunnies, & even a hedgehog! It would be my honor (& my pleasure) to care for your sweet furry babies! 🩷 I just had my first (human) baby in March ‘23 and have decided to become a full-time stay-at-home mom! I’m looking to make a little extra cash to help support my family since we’re now only on my husband’s income as a firefighter, who is incredibly underpaid for such an important job… I have plenty of free time that I would love to devote to enhancing your furry babies’ quality of life all while enhancing my family’s as well! 🩵 I treat animals with just as much tender love & care as I do my own human baby and as I’ve treated others’ human babies during my time working as an elementary school counselor. If you’re looking for someone to provide more than just a service, I’m your girl. Know that my time with your pet will be filled with so much love, ON TOP of whatever service you may need! 💜
