I can walk dogs, and do most of the daily tasks (feeding, litter boxes, etc) your pet needs! About: Hello hello! My name is Jocelyn, and I’m a 20-year-old dog lover that recently picked up petsitting in December! 😋🫶🏽 Until last year, I’d grown up with pets my entire life. Since my last childhood Pitbull, Roxy (one out of three total dogs) passed away last July, it’s been difficult adjusting to life without them to share it with me. My schedule feels hollow and incomplete after having spent the last four years with two senior dogs. Those four years have given me experience waking up both late and early to tend to a pet’s many needs, and stay up as long as needed to ensure their safety and wellbeing. Living in a house of dog lovers, your pet(s) will be both well-cared for and showered with love all throughout their stay. 💕 Having our late girl’s passing so recent, we still have all the living necessities available for use if need be. This includes pet beds, food/water bowls, functional kennels, poop bags, and a couple toys. We adore our dogs, and are ready to cherish yours just as much before they return back into your loving arms. Petsitting will provide peace of mind for both me and my clients. Whether you’re away for a short or extended period, rest assured your pet(s) stay with us will be easygoing, well communicated, and overall an experience to remember! 😁 I’m currently hunting for a full-time position outside of Rover. When I eventually enter the workforce, petsitting will likely become a background gig I can no longer give my full attention to. Since it’ll be my first ever job, adapting to a new schedule will cause me to become heavily split between sleep, work, and my own physical health, which would conflict with petsitting until I’d find a decent balance. About: I have always had a dog for as long as I can remember. I grew up with dogs and I love them. We currently have two dogs. I have a male Golden doodle named Bo and a female Teddy Bear named Annie. I like to walk the dogs for two 30 minute walks a day. I’m a stay at home, homeschooling mom. I have a 7 year old, 10 year old, 13 year old and 16 year old at home. Everyone loves dogs. We have a routine with the dogs and they are part of the family. I don’t have a fenced in yard but I am a firm believer that dogs need to be walked. I walk my dogs for 30 minutes in the morning and 30 minutes in the afternoon on a walking path behind my house. I keep jingle bells on my door and my dogs ring them to go outside to potty. I have options to separate dogs if necessary. Dogs are separated at feeding time.

“Jessica was amazing! She walked my two dogs, a high strung chihuahua and elderly dog (14 y.o.), for 30min for 4 days. She reached out and asked if I wanted her to meet the dogs before walking them which was great. The chihuahua tends to bark his head off at strangers, and I wasn't sure how he'd react (he ended up running away from her the first day for 15min, sorry Jessica). The older dog had diarrhea throughout the house one day, and cleaning up after something like that isn't really what I consider her job. I told her she didn't need to worry about it, and I'd deal with it when I got back. However, she ended up cleaning up as much as she could anyways (that's going to be a big tip). Besides my dogs being a huge pain. She always responded quickly and sent a lot of pictures from the walks.”

About: I have pet sat for my Nextdoor neighbors for years and I have also had dogs my entire life and had to take care of them I work best in the early mornings and later afternoon on weekdays and almost anytime works on weekends I’m mostly flexible and available to be there for your pets I always make sure the pets are fed and have gone potty and I make sure that there are not to many things they can get into or on top of I also notify the owner immediately if I feel something isn’t right or if they is a problem with the pet of if I have a question
