About: I've dog sat and dog walked for my friends, for up to a few weeks of continuous care, ranging from puppies to older dogs. I also have experience cat-sitting and all the duties associated with that! I work full-time and am on Rover as something to do in my free time! I just really love all animals and thought it would be great to help owners out. Think of me as someone who can come by while you go out and enjoy the weekend or have a night out! I have dog-sat and walked dogs of all ages and sizes for more than 10 years, and in 2020 i rescued a 12 week old puppy found on the streets of Hattiesburg Mississippi (and riddled with tapeworms!) who has since become my best friend and ESA. Raising and training a dog on my own has instilled in me a new and even greater both love for dogs - and also respect for the importance of discipline and consistency when raising little beings who look to humans for their safety and care. I have lots of puppy experience too. Happy to go on walks in your neighborhood, drop in and visit or play, and help make sure your pet is well-exercised and well-taken care of. Am happy to take care of or walk puppies and senior dogs, and am also happy to bring my own puppy along on walks if you want to work on socialization or just get any extra energy out. I am currently a freelance writer and just back on my feet after a bout of Lyme from a tick bite caused me to have to leave my job. Because of that I am free almost every day and can set my schedule around when clients and pets need me :) At your home, the most important thing will be safety. I will keep your pet safe and well by following all the rules and guidelines you give me to keep them on their routine and fed and feeling calm and loved. I will also keep myself safe by following all the instructions and directions you give me.
