About: My experience with animals comes from caring for pets throughout my life, including my own dogs and cats. I’m comfortable with the everyday responsibilities that come with pet care, such as feeding, walks, playtime, cleaning, maintaining routines, and providing companionship. I’ve also helped care for kittens from birth, which gave me hands-on experience with young animals and taught me the importance of patience, cleanliness, observation, and consistency. I understand that every pet is different, and I make an effort to learn each pet’s individual routine, personality, and needs rather than treating every animal the same. Besides my taking care of my own pets my time is free I’m currently unemployed just a full time pet mom and wouldn’t mind taking care of other pets like my own I Have family that helps me take care of my pets at home if needed I also make sure my pets have everything they need when I leave according to how long I will be gone so no need to bring them with me

About: I had two dogs growing up which gave me a lot of experience taking care of pets. And when I wasn't to bring any more pets home, I turned to petsitting. This gave me more experience working with cats. Flexible work and fully remote school schedule! This makes pet care during the day possible for me. I am able to accommodate your pet's schedule as well. I am and always have been an animal lover. I would be taking care of your pet as if they were my own to ease their stress as well.
About: Hi! Thanks for looking at my profile. I’m Karah. I first began pet/house sitting when I was living in Ecuador from 2012-16. I am well practiced with dogs of all sizes, cats of many temperaments, and critters ranging from fishes to bearded dragons. I also have lots of garden care, as well as, indoor plant care experience. I am currently working part time at a craft store. As such I can be with your critters for most of the day. Everyone will be well looked after and let out, walked, given specific care, et al. “Danny and Jennifer were absolutely amazing with our pups for a really extended (two weeks!!) period of time. They came on time every day, twice a day, and saw to their basic needs, of course—food, water, love, play. But they also picked up after them, straightened the house, took the trash to the curb, kept the pups safe in the dorms, did troubleshooting on an AirTag collar, brought packages inside, gave great Rover cards, and clearly just CARED!!! They were great communicators and went WAY above and beyond in pretty much every possible way. Unsurprisingly, our pups love them! I will do everything I can to work with them again for future vacations!!”

About: My experience with dog care began at age 12 when I started walking my neighbors' medium-sized Labrador and Golden Retriever mix during summer afternoons, gaining early hands-on experience. About: I've had my dog Stella since she was 3 months old, and she's turning six now. I grew up always owning dogs and loving them, and I've never known a home where a dog wasn't part of it. I have experience with both big and small dogs, and Stella likes all shapes and sizes, and is kind to all the pups (and humans) she comes across. Stella and I enjoy having another dog around as company, as it lets me give some extra love, and gives Stella a friend that she gets to be a dog with :) While I do work a normal office job, I have a pretty flexible work schedule that allows me to not have to be in the office super early, to work from home some days, or not have to be in the office for extended periods of time. Weekends, I am home for most of the day, aside from the occasional errand. We live in an apartment and while we do not have a fenced in yard, our apartment is very pet friendly, with everyone in my building owning a pet. I live in the Clayton-Demun area, sandwiched between Forest Park and Concordia Park, so walks are great. We do at least 4 walks a day, and have been trying to get more exercise as Stella has been instructed she needs to get in shape :) Stella gets along with every single dog she comes across, and loves having extra friends around to hangout with. We frequently have play dates with my neighbors yorkie, and Stella plays appropriately with dogs of all sizes - it's honestly incredible to witness. I’m happy to let them roam free during the day if I'm gone, or if they need to be crated we have one as well. Furniture is at your discretion, but Stella typically does not get on it - becuase she sheds like crazy.

Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet.
sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
